Property Ratings at Spring Street Commons
I have lived here for almost 3 years now and I will just start by letting anyone considering living here know to STAY AWAY! If you wish to continue reading I will share just a few the issues with this building. Overall management is HORRIBLE. There has been about 3 different management companies since I’ve been in the building. Every one has done a bad job of maintaining the building and handling tenants. The building was not regularly cleaned up until last year when they finally hired a decent maintenance company. If you make a maintenance request you will likely not have the issue resolved for months. Management rarely answers the phone and it is advertised that there is conciergence and someone at the front desk every day. That is a lie there is someone at the front desk maybe two days a week. So if you get locked out of your apartment good luck. The water has turned brown as I am brushing my teeth in the morning more times than I can count on my hands. The garage and main entrance are constantly broken so anyone can get into the building. Last year the garage and main entrance had been broken for months and during this time someone came into the building and shot a resident in the neck (you can find the article online) and management/owners tried to sweep the incident under the rug. These are just a fraction of the many issues I’ve dealt with being here, but to make a long story short save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for an apartment. There is nothing luxury about Spring st Commons
The apt isn't bad, but the buildng and management is horrific. The door locks get jammed at least once a month or more where tenants are locked in or out of the building. It gets fixed and 3 weeks later the same happens again. The carpets are filthy. There is one contact person for repairs, being locked out or to express any concerns. Management is unresponsive. If considering moving here, please consider going elsewhere

I thank you for your feedback. The ownership of the building has recently became aware of the problems at Spring St., Commons with the current management team. The management team is no longer with Spring St., Commons. Ownership has taken over the building and the building will be returned to its beautiful pristine modern luxury Residential home it was built to be. We will provide residence with a clean crisp secured place you will be proud to call home. We will also provide contact and repairs as they should be acknowledged and responsive to our residents needs. I can tell you that the owners are working extremely hard to make sure that it's not the experience you have, and I invite you to come by within the next couple of weeks to see for yourself. Ownership has taken over within the last week and some big changes have already taken place. We do appreciate your feedback and thank goodness this will all be taken care of and can be changed back to its original state.....
I am relocating from the DC metro area and happened to stumble upon this place. I love everything about the high ceilings, space etc. I decided to give the Spring Street Commons a call only to be met with a rude and very passive tone. The lady, who failed to introduce herself was very rude and snobby. She was already irritated after my introduction and 3 probing questions about the unit. Imagine living in here with such as a person as a manger/concierge. I believe I dodged a bullet. I will definitely be looking else where.

We do apologize you had that experience. We currently have taken over management as the owners of the building, therefore the experience would be much different than the one you have described. If you were to ever give us another chance we guarantee a different experience.
