Bloomfield is a quiet suburb on the north side of Hartford, just a few minutes removed from Interstate 91. The close proximity to the state capital gives residents all the benefits of the larger city with a comfortable distance from the faster-paced lifestyle.
Nature preserves make up much of the town’s western border, primarily Penwood and Talcott Mountain State Parks, making it easy for residents to find outdoor adventure from just about anywhere in town. Golf is also quite popular in Bloomfield, with three world-class golf courses around town. The University of Hartford lies just outside the town limits to the south, making Bloomfield a highly convenient location for students to find apartments.

Property Ratings at Spark Bloomfield
Stay away from these apartments. Nearly half of the residents are college students. You will be kept awake all night long. If you complain to property management, they will do NOTHING to diminish the noise and will treat you terribly for complaining. The apartments are not sound proofed. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing, yawning, sneezing, sex, peeing, etc. All of the tenured residents have moved out. They will try to lure you in by their affordable rent specials and at the end of your lease term, rent will be increased significantly. The gym is filthy and the pool is dirty and not heated. Do your self a favor and stay away from this place.
I usually never write reviews but I am so happy with the service here I wanted all to know! I now live in this community for six months and am very happy. My apartment is newly renovated and has up-to-date appliances. The staff is nice and helpful and makes everyone feel very comfortable. The location is great, quiet but close access to all stores needed. Love it here!
I've lived here for 2 years and love the place. The apartments offer the option of having an attached garage (I love it!). They do a great job of maintaining the grounds and buildings. The office staff have always been helpful and knows you by name. The apartment is convenient to Town Square and a large mall just beyond that with all of the shops that you need. Mass Transit just requires you to walk to the entrance to the complex, and you're surrounded by the peace and of a golf course.
