One star less cause my neighbor smokes marijuana, plays music after 11pm and starts playing and smoking again at 7am. It really sucks on the 8th floor cause through the vents perhaps, the smell comes into my room. I'm hoping the property management will solve this soon- I believe in 'em!

NO HOT SHOWERS. I moved in just before Thanksgiving 2024 and it's been lukewarm (even chilly) showers ever since. That's been disappointing especially during the middle of winter. Each day that goes by the temperature seems to be dropping and my water is borderline cool. Maintenance has entered my home at least eight different times so they could inspect and adjust but there's been no improvement. They recorded water temperature readings from my tub on average at 108 and 112 degrees all of which are below the City of Chicago Hot Water Code (120-140 degrees). Solverre denied a rent abatement. Their mechanical vendor (Ewing Doherty) also tried to persuade me that my apartment is meeting city code even though there's no heat in the water. The integrity of this place and of their mechanical vendor is questionable and city officials should be alerted. 2) While the amenities are nice, the gym is very hot. If you’re a cardio person, then beware. The thermostat is consistently on 79-80 degrees. Management says the temperature has been adjusted but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

My review has gone down since the last time. I would have given it 3&1/2 if I could. Before I share what’s not working, I want to say that the staff who care, really do! The ladies who clean the building are kind & thoughtful & a few of the door people are, too. Having said that, the quality & attention to maintenance has gone down. There’s an issue with our toilet that never gets resolved. I’ve spoken with other tenants & they’re experiencing the same thing. The back door to the dog run has been broken for weeks, the view out on the pool looks like a small swamp. The new manager who took over doesn’t seem like she likes people. There’s, over all, a more antagonistic feel. We’re paying luxury prices in Uprown which I think is why the building is half empty. The experience is not luxurious enough to justify the price. The cabinets are Ikea, the toilets don’t work like they’re supposed to & the management seems unhappy. It was great building when we moved in. Not as much anymore.

the community is great. Everyone I have met so far are nice and polite. The management is really friendly and orderly. I kind of want the apartment to be kept half occupied though it is probably not great for the business here.

Move in was very smooth. This apartment has all the amenities you need like gym, yoga studio, office space/printer/coffee machine etc. They even have pool table and a roof top overlooking the lake on 12th floor.

Been here four months, the staff have turned over four times. Managements favorite words are "we're working on it" to anything you bring to their attention. The wafting smell of trash is overwhelming throughout the elevator lobby and elevators. But they are "working on it". The evening concierge is always away... which puts residents in an awkward spot having to let delivery drivers in, security issue there. Even when there he does call up when guests arrive. For the amount of rent we pay and the promise of luxury living this has been a disappointment. Appliances are starting to break down (did I mention they were 5 months old?) Social programing has ended without nothing new announced.

From the moment we moved in everyone has been such an amazing help from the residence that already stay in the building to housekeeping, cleaning the lobby to the lovely concierge at the door to the amazing leasing agent KC. Great move in experience! Keys were available beginning in the morning of the lease start date. Our move-in window was a perfect and organized amount of time to move in, utilizing the freight elevator. Front door staff and office staff have been very nice and attentive for any issues. Amenities in this building are gorgeous, from the Sol Lounge to the 3rd floor pool and outdoor space. Living here is a dream!

Aside from Solverre being a brand new, shiny, clean, beautiful lakeside property with perfect amenities, the staff are very kind, helpful, and quickly responsive. I am very grateful to have found such a great apartment to reside in. The rent is stiff, but no more than any other lake-side property, so with the inclusion of very clean, modern, and exciting rooms and amenities, the choice to live at Solverre is a no-brainer. Lake views and fast WiFi make life good for a remote worker. Full-sized appliances make life good for a home cook too. Full-sized in-unit laundry is amazing. Access to lake trails makes life easy for recreation. Right on commuting lines to the loop, and within walking distance to any business you could ever need, it works perfectly for anyone who needs anything. Shoutout to Zachariah, Rodrick, and Casey for all their help before, during, and post move-in!

I moved in 7.15.24 and before my move-in date Casey made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth move-in. There was an email that was sent out and he addressed my daughter by name (I only shared her name with him once) that made me feel welcomed and valued. Staff 10/10. I enjoy running into them. Even the cleaning crew has offered a helping hand if they notice me struggling.

Living here has been fantastic! It is a new apartment complex and it offers great amenities like a modern gym, a beautiful pool, and lovely common areas.
