The façade of this building is one of the finest examples of 19th Century cast-iron architecture in the nation. These apartments boast high ceilings, central air, fireplaces, and oversized windows. This building, as well as Smythe’s Corner, is named for Samuel Smythe, a renowned department store proprietor who made Old City his home.
