Settlers Gate is a great place to live!! The community is beautiful and well kept ! The staff is friendly and so helpful and the maintenance crew is great!
This apartment complex is beautiful and very well-run. I just renewed my lease here, and it’s primarily because the office staff and maintenance staff are great! They always respond to whatever concern you have very quickly, and everyone I’ve ever dealt with are professional and personable! I hope to stay here as long as possible.
Settlers Gate Apartments is a nice place to call home for however long you need to. They do make the effort to be neighborly and friendly.

Settlers Gate is a beautiful facility nestled among mature trees and landscapes in Allen on the west side of 75. It boasts of lighted walking paths, 2 pools, sand volleyball court and an outdoor kitchen. The friendly staff and maintenance team are excellent at what they do. The residents in my building are very friendly and respectful. I've lived here 11 years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

We can't say enough good things about her. She is a hidden gem at Settler's Gate. The property itself is beautiful and it truly feels like home here. I genuinely enjoy living at Settler’s Gate! I was able to transfer to another unit and continue my journey here and it has been so gratifying. Lorena has been very thorough and helpful in each instance where I’ve needed assistance. The entire office is really good and compassionate at their core. I’m very excited and thankful to be a resident :)
Do not live her. They lie. They are not upfront with you on fees before you sign your lease. They do not communicate properly. Every time I try and speak to a manager in the front office she is conveniently unavailable and can not speak.

Settlers Gate Apartment Complex is set on a park like setting with mature trees, winding walking path and a pond with a fountain. Adults and kids love the sand volleyball court as well as the outdoor kitchen, 2 pools and indoor gym and friendly neighbors. It's close to many shopping centers and for me personally, only 3 miles from work. I've lived here for 10 years.

Looks great on the outside but inside not so much. Gates always broken. So much covered parking but not enough just open parking. Maintenance team “is just there”. My first day I was given a warning for having my trash outside not in a bin, crazy part I was never issued one and the front office was shocked and said ok well this is a warning. Haha crazy to get a warning for something that wasn’t provided by the office during move in. The staff in the office is friendly. But other than that nothing special about living there. False advertising on luxury when I’m getting an older used model replaced dish washer from a vacant unit.
My experience with this apartment has been disappointing from the very beginning. The day I moved in, I immediately regretted my decision due to the apartment's condition—it was dirty and riddled with issues. I have already submitted around 8 work orders and still need to submit 3 more. If I could, I’d probably submit even more because the problems seem endless. The property, both inside and out, desperately needs a professional remodel, not just patchwork fixes. Additionally, I strongly recommend hiring a professional cleaning crew with thorough checks and balances to ensure apartments are move-in ready on day one. Improvements in these areas would make a significant difference for future residents.
Settlers Gate remains a favorite of mine. Problems are handled professionally and thoroughly. Office staff and maintenance staff are very nice. The property is well-managed and a great place to come home to.
Overall, my experience with Settlers Gate has been absolutely fantastic. The office staff has consistently been kind, helpful, and attentive. Teresa, in particular, went above and beyond to accommodate me.

Settlers Gate Is a really great place to live! I’ve bought homes and lived in several apartments over my life. This beautiful, well-maintained property is perfect for anyone who wants a lovely place to come home to but does not want the annoyance and expense of maintenance. Office and maintenance staff are wonderful, and handle everything!

Settler's Gate has so far been a lovely experience compared to other apartment communities I have resided in. The management and maintenance team has been very helpful and friendly to me. The area and complex itself is very aesthetically pleasing and functional, especially considering there are other places charging as much or more for a place way less nice.
The staff here is great and friendly. Super helpful. The community itself is very spacious and beautiful. And the amenities are top notch.
Settlers’ Gate Apartments is a great place to live! It is a beautiful property, well maintained and staffed with very pleasant, professional people. My apartment is quiet, beautiful and spacious. After living here for 17 years, I still only use superlatives to describe it.
It is a great location, but not a great facility. I moved from Settler's Gate 2 weeks ago. There is not a shred of "luxury" anywhere. The main pool was only open about 2 weeks total last summer. The chain broke on my garage door on March 6 and I couldn't raise the door to park my car. It was not repaired until April 1. I think they were putting it off because I had given my notice to move out. But they still charged me rent for it. They removed all the window screens in February because several were damaged from hail storms and general abuse. They had not replaced them as of 2 weeks ago. It is an older facility that is not being properly maintained. I do not recommend.
Settlers Gate is a great community and has the amenities I've been looking for. It's a great place to call home.
Settlers gate Apartments are in a beautiful park like setting with walking trails, 2 pools, a pond, a workout facility and conveniently located to everything you need.
Settlers Gate is a great place to live! It is a beautifully maintained complex, and very well run. Both office staff and maintenance staff are very efficient, dependable and cordial. I hope to continue to be a resident for the foreseeable future!
We have lived here about 4 years because we like the location. Unfortunately, it has progressively gone down hill in our experience. The apartments are advertised as luxury arts. The exterior repairs are nice but does little for the apartment insides. We would move if if we could both my wife and I have serious health issues that make a move difficult for us.

I have been a resident of Settlers Gate for many years, and hope to continue living here for many more. The place is very well maintained, and the grounds are kept beautifully. Both office staff and maintenance staff are great! They are always ready to hear your concern and happy to resolve any issue. This is ,by far, the best apartment I have ever lived in!
Settlers Gate stands out because of moderate rent and nice amenities like kinds park, pools, awesome gym, beach volley ball court, basket ball, reserved parking and walking trail.
Rent went up over $550 in 3 years..... absolutely ridiculous. We are moving out because of that.
Worst neighborhood ever with management attitude, handling pest control and worst treatment of seniors. Shame on Greystar.

Office ladies are great, it's apparently the maintenance people that are the issue due to them closing service requests with no communication and no work being done.
Love living here with it's friendly staff, knowledgeable maintenance team, 2 pools and park like setting.
The appartments are run down now have pest issues the roofs are paper thin and I hear the people above me all day. Good luck getting a service request completed that is just not closed with no reason or explanation.

Settlers gate is a great place to raise your family even if it is for a short time! There are plenty of areas for the young ones to play and socialize. Lets not forget it is also pet friendly for families who like their four legged family members.
Settler’s Gate is a wonderful place to live. I consider myself lucky to have been here 16 years! The staff-office and maintenance-are always ready to help with any concern, the grounds are beautiful and the trash pick-up is a real perk. My apartment is spacious and gorgeous! Settler’s Gate is a delight to come home to!
Love the park like setting & walking paths. Love the fact that you have 2 pools.Love how close you are to all kinds of shopping & restaurants. Love that I'm only 3 miles from my place of employment.

Settler’s Gate staff-both office staff and maintenance- are truly exceptional. They do their best in every situation I have observed, and are cordial and welcoming. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the apartments are fresh and spacious. I hope to remain a tenant for several more years!
I love living here. It's very convenient to shopping and my work. The park like setting makes walking around enjoyably. 2 pools are a bonus.
