Sedona|Slate

It is a very clean, safe place to live. It is super close to a small Target and Safeway. The metro is a short walk away and you can get to Georgetown with a quick walk over the bridge. There is plenty of parking underground too.

Great apartment complex to live in. The amenities are great, brand-new, and well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and responsive! Would recommend

I’ve had no major issues in the 5 months I’ve been here so far. A couple times I submitted a maintenance request, I had to follow up with the concierge who contacted the maintenance supervisor and got my issue resolved the same day. Not being able to share amenities between the buildings (gym, pool) is kind of a bummer but not a huge deal. Overall I’m glad I picked this apartment bc the staff has all been friendly and helpful and the location is great. Planes do fly over Rosslyn but I’ve gotten used to tuning that out

My favorite part about living at Sedona is the front desk staff. I feel well taken care of, and know my packages are always counted for. The lobby always smells lovely.

Wonderful apartment building with the most wonderful staff. I cannot recommend enough! The location is perfect for those looking to find affordable rent in a luxury apartment with direct access to the middle of DC within 10-15 minutes

I can't believe it's been over ten years here. It's very convenient for work and comfortable. Although it's just an apartment complex, it'll never be home.

Overall, the building is very clean. The staff is the best! Noise from other apartments is a challenge, but mostly because of the thin walls, but some neighbors are noise. The building is conveniently located in a great area.

I really enjoy my time living here in the slate building. The staff is super sweet always welcoming you - never had a bad experience with them. I do have some issues getting into the gym with my key fob early mornings but other than that can’t complain. One thing I will note is that your rent increases after the first year, we tried to negotiate with the leasing office given we saw cheaper/lather apartments on the site but no luck.

The front desk is very friendly and responsive. They will remember your names and greet you everytime they see you. The layout of the apartment is lovely. Lots of sunshine, even during the winter time. The apartment have a strict rule about noise level at night and is very responsive if you are being disturbed by your neighbor's loud music. you might have bad experience with their package system at first (because they did it manually and human make mistakes sometimes), but give them some time to get to know you, the situation will get better the longer you stay here. This is by far the best apartment I've stayed in, I would say management team takes 90% of the credit for this.

Used to be very nice. Lingering maintenance issues. Has had a lot of safety and security issues the last year. It used to be nice and I hope it can be again. Needs some changes though.

The staff here is very friendly - the leasing office is very responsive and the concierge/front desk folks are always so helpful whether it be with delivery/moving services or helping carry oversized packages I can't carry on my own. The building is super nice - always clean and doesn't feel that crowded. It's a pretty quiet and calm building and the units themselves are modern and very nice.

Nice and clean community with friendly staff. Convenient location, only a few minutes of walking distance to George Town. Metro buses available almost all the time!

Great location, 5 minutes from the metro, 10 minutes from DC. The maintenance yeam is always friendly and dependable. The concierge team are always courtrous and helpful.

Major Quality Control Issues with Maintenance. Lots of turnover in building management personnel. Things are very month to month week to week if things are going well or not.

Love the concierge team. Always in a great mood, super friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the community and the neighborhood (comes in handy to new residents).

Absolutely amazing place to live. Concierge staff is amazing and maintenance is timely and very courteous. Location is very ideal, as well. Hopefully we'll stay here for years to come.

So far my resident experience has been great. The staff is very kind and attentive. The addition of the coffee machine has really helped me as well.

This apartment is great! I love how clean it is- it feels like living in a hotel. I also love the team everyone is so nice and makes me feel at home. I feel safe at SedonaSlate. The features and amenities are very nice and they have been helpful every step of move in. I’ve been so happy with our choice to rent here!

best thing about sedona slate is its property management stuff. all the receptionists are terrific. also: sedona is better than slate! i feel like slate needs a bit of renovation.

Don't live here. While the management company used to be one of the better ones in the area, the building itself is a lemon and there's nothing they can do about it. First of all, the noise. My god, the noise. Every time a resident moves out, they replace the laminate hardwood floors. This is process that begins at 9am and goes all day; it seems to happen about once a week or a little less. Here's the issue: the building is a freakin tuning fork. It doesn't matter if it's on the opposite side of the building and 10 floors away... it sounds like it's hammering going on right behind your head. You can't sleep, and you can't work from home. They also have done this on holidays. Also on the noise front, the walls are so thin you will hear everything your neighbors say/do. Everything. Lastly, the planes that fly overhead are super low going into DCA... this will routinely wake you up when the red eyes come in. Smells are an issue too. They permeate the wall so you better like what your neighbors cook and the scent of their fabric softener, as well as some plumbing gas issues. Yuck. Last issue is the break-ins. While management has acknowledged it, the garage gate has been a recurring issue resulting in car break-ins as well as the bike room resulting in damage/theft.

I love our front desk staff, most especially Dantice! She and the other regulars take such good care of the tenants. Also appreciate the occasional free breakfast for resident appreciation.

I love living in Slate! The amenities are great and the apartment is very nice. The staff is very kind as well and management is responsive to needs.

Have spent only a week here but experience has been very good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help! Only wish I have is, maintenance requests are handled better and responded quicker. It takes 2-3 days to get any kind of action.

Love the place I live. Very good location. Talented friendly management. Specially our concierge girls are very nice people. Monthly calendar is good for having fun with neighbors and good opportunity of introduce each other

Sedona|Slate is hands down the best *actual* luxury apartment in the DC area. Apartment finishes are impeccable, you can tell the design work was very meticulous. Very clean, modern shared spaces. My dog loves the dog park and friendly neighbors, it is a very quiet and green neighborhood. Special thank you to Emily in the Leasing Office and Jessica the Slate concierge. Moving in was a breeze and maintenance handled small concerns within hours. We could not be happier living here!!

Vibrant neighbourhood here. I really like the vibes that everyone helps each other. The apartment is close to everything and the surroundings are so peaceful.

The building is in the perfect location. The metro and the buses are within a block. Safeway and targets are just cross the streets in which makes everything so convenient. The concierges and the maintenance team are amazing, very friendly and very professional.

I have had a wonderful experience. The staff are very helpful and prompt. The maintenance team is timely. It is a quiet and clean building with lots of events to make us feel like a community. It is also close to many shops within walking distance which I greatly appreciate and the neighborhood is safe.

We've been here now 5.5 years now and absolutely love it. Leasing staff is top notch, maintenance is so good that it's unbelievable sometimes, and the concierge staff is unparalleled. Special shout out to Dawn because she truly goes above and beyond for all of the residents here. I feel like there is never a problem she can't solve. Hope we never have to move. Thank you all for making our home, our home. Staff matters because it's where we live.

The property is ok but quality of life has decreased by 10 folds. The front desk staff are courteous and nice. The maintenance staff are quick and respectful. However, the leasing office staff, the corporate office, and the regional manager all have ignored emails, calls, complains, and concerns. They do not want to help you or listen to you until it is an issue of milking your money. They take our rent but none goes back into the property. The lack of etiquette and dignity from the residents alongside with the lack common sense and respect for the other residents, this place has become a horror show to live in. Multiple floors of the property smell like marijuana and cigarettes. I have seen a resident open their window and start hitting a bong right there on the spot. It would be ok if the lease agreement allowed smoking but it is not. When you complain about the smell, the leasing office refuse to take any action against the resident. They just want to take your money and do nothing else for you or your family. STAY AWAY FROM BOZZUTO!!!!!!!!

I love everything for my residence in Sedonaslate 1510. I really appreciate leasing office manager, workers, every receptionist at my building. When I had a personall mistake with my address, everyworkers with whom I talked on phone , they really helped me in short time. I always appreciate for everything that they are doing for their residents. They make our family to feel really happy.. We are so excited living in our home. Thank you so much.

Best staff ever. Also, maintenance is through the roof. Makes living here so easy and comfortable. They out quickly as soon as you have an issue and leasing is amazing at keeping the building quiet while we WFH. All the resident event are amazing, too. They seem to be bringing us back together.

It's been about 4 months of living in Slate, and overall a very good experience. The front desk and leasing office are very helpful and kind, I've always been directed to the right point of contacts whenever I had a question/concern.

There is a reason why the managers are always new people under these reviews. Not a single one of them knows how to manage a property properly. Each one after the other gets worse and worse. This is honestly all the same for all the staff.
