Virginia Beach is a large city of nearly half a million people, perched on the Atlantic coast between Chesapeake Bay and the North Carolina state line. Supporting a thriving local economy of its own, Virginia Beach is also a popular home base for folks who work in neighboring Norfolk and beyond, largely thanks to the incredible array of things to do in your down time.
The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts attracts major national performers and Broadway musicals, as well as popular local and regional acts. Throughout the year, you can always catch live shows at Farm Bureau Live, the city's 20,000-seat outdoor concert amphitheater. During the summer, Atlantic Boulevard comes alive at night; family-friendly street performers line the street, and bands play at a number of stages set up on the beach, in parks, and on the boardwalk.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sea Pines
Just to start moving in was a nightmare. Laura the property manager didn’t even walk us to our apartment. We had absolutely no clue where it was located. We weren’t able to see a unit before moving in other than the one that was completely torn apart and had contractors in it. We needed up locked out of our apartment because we weren’t told not to lock our bottom lock when leaving. The apartment was extremely dirty when we moved in and several things needed to be fixed. Our dishwasher was rusted and falling apart. broken windows that don’t lock (still have a broken window). Their entire maintenance staff quit the week I moved in too. That’s saying something. The cabinets don’t close and look as though they’ve been painted over repeatedly. Someone’s water heater busted and leaked into my apartment around thanksgiving time. Unfortunately I was not home to know about It so when I came home my living room had puddles of water. I discovered mold in my master Bedroom in January. They painted over it twice “fixing” the issue and each time it has came back. It is now June and we still have the issue and we’ve been having to sleep in the living room with me being 7 months pregnant and having a 16month old. My husband actually scrubbed the mold off the wall with bleach. There was also a shooting outside my apartment During the day which makes me feel 100% uncomfortable with going outside my apartment. Now we are having issues with management. When you have an issue they will give you an email to email just for it to be ignored. They refuse to give you a phone number to speak to anyone. Just stay away. Yes it’s cheaper than other apartments but You get what you pay for.
I had a very short time frame in order to look for a new place to live. A friend of mine referred me to Sea Pines as she had lived here before, I found the listing and I responded on Facebook and the property manager immediately replied to my inquiry. I met her the next day I think she gave me a layout I had already filled out the application went through the process Laura was so friendly so pleasant and professional showed me the grounds to which were very well-maintained and very clean. After completing my background check and credit check everything went smoothly and I've now been here 3 months and loved it. Since the three months the grounds have still been well-maintained they have repaved the parking lot to which looks pretty good in the beginning they've updated all HVAC units to ensure a more efficient living I've never seen a property that is so well managed and maintained in all the years I've lived in Virginia Beach. I've had a couple small issues to which when I reached out they have responded immediately and sent the nicest maintenance man over his name is Tony and he is just very pleasant and professional again very nice staff clean very well maintained and actually the neighbors are pretty good as well. I had to downsize and do not regret it for one moment it's close to the beach I ride my bicycle within 5 minutes so I'm loving my new place the staff and the beach living. Thank you Laura for helping me find my new place I greatly appreciate all your help. I thought I'd reach out and let you know how happy I was happy holidays and thank you
