The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sanctuary at Heather Ridge
Constantly water outages - at least once a month. Management says you can do things like run the dishwasher but the water doesn't even get hot enough to dissolve the soap. They are not concerned about the hardship it causes when residents can't come ho e to hot shower when it is below freezing out. Always blaming the age of the building but doing nothing to overhaul the hot water system. Be ready to advocate for yourself - know your rights and city code if you move in.
Management may or may not tell you when the hot water is out. It's been out for 12 of the last 30 days. Property management staff does not care and left the office on Christmas eve without notifying their hundreds of residents that they would be without hot water for the holiday. There is no maintenance person on the team that is capable of basic boiler repair. No compensation for the fact that I have had to boil water in order to clean my home and bathe. People complain about the roaches, but don't seem to be making the connection that the poor management of the property is actively preventing residents from being able to maintain individual units.
I am writing this review to express my frustration with the persistent issues I have encountered while living in these apartments. While some of the office staff have been courteous, the overall experience has been disappointing and unfair. The hot water problem has been a recurring issue, happening almost every month. There have been multiple occasions where we have been without hot water for extended periods—sometimes lasting several days. On more than one occasion, we were without both hot and cold water for days, and currently, we have been without hot water for over a week. This has become an ongoing inconvenience that affects our daily lives. It’s nearly impossible to properly prepare for work or school without access to basic amenities like hot water. The lack of hot water, in particular, is an unacceptable issue that should not be overlooked. To make matters worse, despite these frequent disruptions, there has been no offer of compensation or even a discount for the days we have been without water. Given these persistent problems, I would strongly advise others to avoid these apartments. The consistent failure to address basic living conditions like hot water is simply inexcusable.
Muchas cucarachas, y muy sucios y puertas dañadas , gente de la calle durmiendo en las escaleras
Three criminal incidents and the management cared for none of them!! Even when a recent burglary incident was reported!!! Just care for yourself and find a better place!
The Leasing agent failed to mention that you have to pay the deposit at the same time as applying.
I have recently purchased a condo and I miss my unit at Sanctuary at Heather Ridge terribly! I was so comfortable there. It was quiet. I had privacy. I had a beautiful view! I. Was. Happy! I want to return when possible. The people that write the bad reviews sure had a different experience than I did. The management was always there for us, day or night. Yes, it is an older property, but they took care of things as needed. Whether it was the boiler which provides hot water and heat, a sink clog, etc. Normal things do happen no matter where you live. I can't say enough about the management, maintenance, and the employees there. Love and miss them and my wonderful apartment! Thank you all for the 11 years I spent at Sanctuary at Heather Ridge.
I've shopped a lot of places before deciding on this one. I've been here almost two years and so far so good! The apartments have a good amount of space for the price and feel open and modern. The office seems to know most of the people by name who come in for packages or to pay rent. They renovated our laundry room this year and recently updated the grounds with rock and mulch to make it look nicer. Even though it's an older property, you can tell they try to keep the property looking nice. I often see housekeeping and the maintenance men making an effort to keep things clean and the grounds picked up. It's too bad some other residents don't always take care of the place and leave trash around. I guess some people don't care about where they live? I also like that they have the utilities combined into the rent it make budgeting for my place easier. I could pay more downtown for less space, but why? I would recommend this if you work close to DTC and don't want to pay the high rates over there.
I don't know who gave this place 4 stars, but they were obviously paid. There is no central heat or air, just window air units and floor heaters that run on hot water. Neither ever works. There is not enough staff to keep up with maintenance. The common areas are always disgusting. Animal urine, hair and feces are always in the hallways and stairways. If something is broken, you're going to have to wait a long time to get it fixed and it's not likely to be fixed correctly because the maintenance people are not very knowledgeable. A few times now they have broken something trying to fix something else.the place is crawling with ants, even in the common areas and including the laundry room and no one ever gets rid of them. There's vandalism all the time. The fitness room is about the size of a closet and the management never keeps regular office hours. You never know when they will open late or close early. The police are always there for some sort of domestic dispute and the smell of cigarettes and marijuana permeates the apartments as if you are smoking yourself
From the road, the Sanctuary at Heather Ridge Apartments don't look like anything special. The insides of the apartments, however, are surprisingly open and elegant. With granite style counters and stainless steel appliances, the apartments are more than is expected. The neighborhood is within the Cherry Creek School district, adjacent to the Heather Ridge Golf Course and a short walk from a local bar, liquor store and small restaurants. The staff, especially Stella, are very welcoming and accommodating. The best attributes of these apartments are the affordable rates and the fact that they will be right next to a lightrail station in approximately 2016. Overall it's a great location for the money and the amenities are better than they could be!
This is one if the wrist apartments I've ever lived in. The don't maintain the common areas and there are cops there at least once a week. The laundry area isn't maintained, and the machines are always broken
The Sanctuary Apartments provides a nice living environment, which combines water, heating, and trash into the monthly rental fee. The staff is prompt in attending to the needs of their tenants, and the location is just minutes from the light rail system and buses stop right in front of facility!
