A charming business district nestled along the Connecticut River makes Downtown Middletown an excellent neighborhood for food, fun, and apartment living. It’s always buzzing with activity, from kayaking on the water to drink-grabbing with friends at the Hop Knot.
Formally a vessel port turned industrial center, Downtown Middletown is now a largely residential community encompassed with artisanal shops, retail boutiques, and cafés on Main Street near Wesleyan University.
It’s safe to say that if you’re not hanging out inside your apartment, you’re probably taking advantage of the natural scenic views and sun at Harbor Park. You’ll appreciate how close everything is from one another, as well as the easily accessible street parking.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sagamore Hills
Dirty and run down. The "air conditioning" is a window unit stuck in the wall. The cabinets are 40 years old and disgusting with ground in dirt and years of grease buildup. The kitchen is tiny with only 2 very small drawers. The floors are wavy and uneven. You will hear every step your upstairs neighbors make and sometimes it sounds like the ceiling will cave in. The hallways STINK. The elevator is old, slow, and cranky. The parking lot is horrible. The lady in the office is polite and helpful.

It’s very quiet here. Neighbors are friendly. Management is very helpful Kathy and Tyeccia really make you feel like a priority! Maintainance works diligently. Truly a great place to live totally worth it !

We are pleased to know that you are happy living at Sagamore Hills. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything additional we can do for you.
Cathy was very friendly and kind. I can't wait to be in a community that represents a place where you would want to be. Amy is awesome because she kept in touch and was understanding. Will be delighted and excited to move in.
I live close to stores and I can walk to them along with being on the busline. I have a Pool ,play area, exercise room where I live and people are friendly.
Beautiful apartments, and affordable. High turnover of tenants. Disrespectful tenants. Management doesn't care about complaints regarding "quiet time" and "peaceful enjoyment". Management doesn't care when complaints are presented to them. Nice pool, but parents do not supervise children running wild and disrupting the enjoyment of the facility. Nice/clean laundry room. Pets are not allowed, but many residents have dogs. Not sour grapes, just stating my living conditions and observations
When you walk into the leasing office, Your surprised on how nice it is. When you move into your apartment that looks like a normal apartment, That's when you learn that you made a mistake. We were unlucky enough to be put in apartment with Pre-adults (18 year olds) above us. Who liked to stay up and run and screaming and play loud music. The office did nothing. They spoke with them But nothing ever changed. If your lucky you'll be placed on the 6th floor. Or the floor where the storage rooms are below. The back is horrible during the summer, you can leave the windows open or the smell of rotting Garbage comes into you home. You hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do! the only good -ish thing is that if you report something broken they will usually fix it really fast. the office people are polite and do their jobs fine. Last thing that is a big problem, is they tend of to have a lot of things going on. Winter, its snow removal, where if you don't have your car gone on the set date and time, they are "nice" enough to tow your car to a lot. which you have to pay to get out. And they leave Paper size letters on doors (hall way NOT YOUR DOOR) informing you about the snow removal. they have Mandatory inspections type thing almost every month to check on things. I didn't like them coming in when i wasn't home. But they gave us noticed that said it had to be done on that date even if were not home. The list goes on.
