The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at RiversEdge
- Gym is old and TVs on equipment and in the room do NOT work - Pool has massive leak and is CLOSED - Front desk is never at desk allowing strangers and homeless to walk in
I recently went on a tour with my wife and they said there won't be anything built in front of both buildings. I went online and found the APPROVED renderings for 8 and 9 story buildings going up. Views of NYC will be blocked, and who wants to live where they are lying to you before you even move in.
Management does not care which makes it worse. You will pay a hefty amenity fee and get nothing for it. The gyms have broken pieces, and the pool has not been open for the summer season. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
I was one of the first people to move into the building in 2009 and left after 13+ years due to the absolute filth and declining quality of neighbors. The geniuses in management decided to remove all trashcans from the garage due to some Karen complaining about them overflowing. So instead of emptying them more often, the manager (if you can call him that) decided to just remove all the cans. Now, trash is everywhere and was starting to attract little furry creatures (raccoons & rats). I emailed the manager notifying him of what I am seeing, but not surprisingly, he never responded. The building also used to have a few cleaning people making sure the building was clean. When I left, it was just down to one lady to clean an entire building. Cost cutting at its best, which leaves a filthy place to come home to. This past summer was the final straw with the massive parties on the weekends. It's so bad, we never were able to enjoy the courtyard due to the insanity of some of the new tenants. The new tenants are so bad, that the building had to hire a security guard for the weekends, but that just made the trash move their parties to Thursdays. Think about it. a security guard to make sure some residents don't make life miserable for everyone else. This nonsense along with astronomical utility bills and zero communication from management makes this place not worth the money. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING. You will be nickle and dimed to death on top of trying to compete with trashy residents to use a grill (when they work). Awful place made worse by RHO Residential and incompetent management. Was so happy to be finished with that nightmare.
Large rent increase with the new management. None of the amenities work. Very bad..
Current tenants at river edge. The location is a downer. Getting anywhere using public transport is such a hassle. Closest grocery store is 40 mins by foot. The apartment is basic. They give it the look of updated but half of the things in the apartment are broken and needs to be replaced. We have already replaced our dish washer twice and oven and let’s not even talk abt other small fixes. The management is cold and so is the concierge. Concierge is well known for misplacing and stealing packages and the management blames it back on the tenants for their negligence. We are still waiting on refund for our lost package (been over a month ) and being blamed and harassed for some other package which was returned by us. The only good thing here are the amenities and rooftop which is also useless as you can’t really book or reserve the space for any special occasion. During summer the rooftop is overcrowded and loud. The jacuzzi is a joke never worked. The privacy is a questionable here. The apartment face parallel to each other so neighbors can peep into your apartment 24/7. We don’t feel safe and our extremely uncomfortable here. Can’t wait for our lease to be up and move out of here. Please move somewhere else and save yourself a trouble. At the end of the day you want to feel comfortable where you live.
Very very shabby! Moved in today, the carpets are dirty, the house is smelling. We told them couple of days ahead. They promised they will do the needful. But they did nothing. Manager didn’t bother to speak to me. Do not move!! It’s really scary. The apartment smells so bad that I might die if I stay here longer. Highly inefficient team. I am planning to sue them.
Long story short: Construction issues, Poorest management I've ever dealt with, Noisy area with constructions around, Lack of places of interest around, Adequate amenities. Do not recommend
I've lived in the area my whole life so I know that the apartments are very pricey but obviously geared towards young professionals and yuppies. Even so, the amenities are definitely worth the extra rent. You're mostly paying for the lifestyle but it's definitely a comfortable one.
