Ridge at North Texas, The

So far so good. Quiet and safe community but really come together for a good event. I love when sponsors come to serve food. My service request hasn’t been answered but I know they’ll get to it, I just wish they were a bit faster.

Living at The Ridge North Texas has been a great experience overall, which is why I rate it 4 stars. The location is fantastic—close to both work and local attractions, making it easy to get around. The apartments are spacious and modern, with excellent amenities like in-unit laundry, large closets, and high-end finishes that make it feel like home. The community is welcoming, and the amenities like the pool, fitness center, and lounge areas are well-maintained and add a lot of value. Staff members are usually friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests are handled promptly, though at times, response times can be slower during busy periods. However, the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the occasional noise from neighbors and limited parking, especially on weekends. While these issues aren’t always disruptive, they can be a minor inconvenience. Overall, The Ridge is a great place to live, offering comfort, convenience, and community at a reasonable price.

This is definitely a student housing complex that serves students with care, though it has an older style to the apartments, renovations are being made and the resident service is very kind and personable. There are lots of fun events and activities held throughout the year, as management makes an effort to foster community and connection across the complex. Maintenance is very responsive, and attentive to every apartment issue, they are very responsive to conflicts and concerns with tenants and have a very balanced approach to conflict resolution. As a resident of two years I recommend picking the ridge if you are looking to save money but still have a good living experience in student housing

So far, no complaints, blows my old apartment complex out of the water! Staff is super helpful! The pool area is beautiful and the gym is amazing!

Love the community engagement but It is my first time in a apartment I love the community as well. I just kind of wish that the maintenence were more on point with arriving to your door nonetheless I really enjoy this establishment.

It’s been okay so far a few noise complaints from my upstairs neighbors. I have called the front office but they never picked up or got back to me.

It is my second year now at the Ridge at North Texas and I must say it’s been amazing so far. I love it because it is as calm as I want my environment to be and the employees are responsive to my concerns.

My stay at The Ridge has been overall comfortable and enjoyable. This is my third year living here and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. I had minor issues with utilities, but it hasn't been too bad. It is an affordable place to live if you are a student.

A good place to live with roommates, and offers excellent amenities. Your new gym is fantastic, with everything we need to maintain our good health. The team can support whenever necessary.

Pretty good. Easy access close to everything honestly. One thing is that our apartments weren't rdy when we moved in so we had to clean. But restrooms where clean so that's good.

These apartments are pretty nice one of my only complaints is that every so often a foul smell appears in your room and stays for about 30 seconds

The place is nice, the only issue I am having so far is with some maintenance issues and the lack of response as of yet. But overall, I am enjoying it.

The security here is amazing in apartment is amazing not even including the Wi-Fi. All the staff is absolutely incredible and I enjoy spending my off days at the pool and the friendships. I have made have been absolutely amazing.

Living at Ridge at North Texas in Denton was convenient and comfortable. The apartments are spacious, the amenities like the pool and fitness center are well-kept. Management is responsive, though parking can get tight at times. Overall, a good student-friendly community.

I enjoy staying here and the amenities are great for the price. However, the building look like they are falling apart and the roads have potholes. Overall, it’s not bad for the price but definitely needs some renovation done.

I feel like this is a very good starter place for people who are moving out for the first time. I also think the community and the location is also really nice and has good security as well.

Everything is kind of fine. My roomates are so sweet, and the apartment is in good condition. But the additional fee like risk fee is insane.

While I am currently waiting to move-in, I would say the process of starting and signing my lease was handled with care by the staff at The Ridge. They made my first apartment lease experience easy to understand, while highlighting the importances as well.

It is almost getting to the end of my first year lease and I must say it’s been a great experience living here. Guess what? I have already renewed my lease.

The ridge is an amazing place to live. I have realized I’m so thankful for friendship. I’ve made the quick Maintenance and all of the staff here it’s an amazing environment safe and clean and roommates are not loud at all. I’m so blessed and happy to call the ridge home.

At first it was pretty bad but it’s actually not bad at all I love management and the one girl at the front desk I think her name is Kendra but she’s great

Living here has been a mostly positive experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shopping centers. The apartment itself is well-maintained, and any maintenance requests I submitted were handled in a timely manner. The community feels safe but it’s often loud.

The ridge is pretty affordable, provides a comfy space with perfect commuting distance to UNT and close to pretty much everything in Denton.

I haven’t moved in just yet but when I went on a tour and all the people were just wonderful! I am excited to live at the Ridge apartments in Denton!

I’ve had a great experience living at The Ridge at North Texas during my time at UNT! The location is super convenient, with easy access to campus but also far enough away that it’s nice and quiet. I really appreciate how close it is to everything I need—grocery stores, restaurants, and even a few cool spots around Denton for when I want to unwind.

I really do enjoy The Ridge at North Texas, it really took away my housing problems as I was an out of state student trying to get settled in the DFW area.

Beautiful apartment and beautiful community and amazing. Staff and maintenance is fast and apartment is probably the cheapest and Denton just for your students so live here.

There’s been bumpy moments but overall this apartment complex is not bad at all. And worth its price of rent. It’s a quiet community and issues get resolved relatively quickly so no real complaints here

Great stuff really fun apartment places they have good amenities and the snow when it snows outside covers the place so I go around making forts

Plus, it’s in a great location, close to everything you need. It’s a place that feels like home.

I was visiting for a week and stayed over at my sister in laws dorm, everyone was going on about how the entire buildings has roach problems, drains contently backing up, some tenants letting their dogs pee and poop all over the apartments, paper thin walls and lack of any assistance what so ever.

I have really enjoyed living at The Ridge at North Texas. It’s a fantastic place with great amenities and a welcoming community. The location is ideal, and the atmosphere is really peaceful and well-maintained. My only concern is the management response to maintenance which can be really slow. But overall, it’s been a great experience and I would highly recommend it to any student looking for a place to live in the area.

I love the apartment and services, plus the rent is relatively better than surrounding apartments, a good deal for students, especially when there is a bus stop just in front of the building.

Terrible Experience - Not Worth the Rent I've lived in this apartment complex for several months, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare. The rent is outrageously high for what you get—definitely not worth it. The management is utterly unresponsive, and maintenance requests are handled at a snail's pace, if at all. I've had issues that took months to address, and some are still unresolved. To make matters worse, they occasionally shut off the water supply without any notice. Imagine coming home after a long day only to find you can't even take a shower. The amenities they advertise are a joke—half of them don't work, and the rest are poorly maintained. Overall, this place is overpriced, poorly managed, and lacks even basic amenities. I regret moving in here and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Everything is nice, however when we first moved in a lot of thing was not working like the water, it was leaks, etc. It did get better over time.

The staffing is super helpful and kind. The only reason I give 4 is because it can take awhile to get a maintenance job done, but with a big complex I completely understand. Really love this place

I love this complex plus its’ included amenities and the employee are very nice and helpful with everything! i’ve enjoyed staying here so far and i’ve had litttle to no issues but if i did they were extremely easy to take care of and get done etc.
