Apartment new renovation is nice and the community is very warm and welcoming. The only problem I have is that the bathrooms are small and I don’t really like the structure, bath creaks a lot and I hear too much noise and stomping above me.

I love living in Marina Shores! It’s a very dog friendly neighborhood. Always quiet. Always. There’s so many places within walking distance. I have children and feel very safe here!

Everyone has been courteous and nice, and the apartment is tranquil. I have had one asthma attack after another since moving into the apartment because of how dirty and musty the place was when we moved in 5 days ago. We've had to hire professional cleaners and buy a dehumidifier and steam cleaner to help remedy the issues. I've steam-mopped the vinyl plank a combined total of 17 times before the mop pad looked acceptably clean. In just the loft area, we vacuumed it 6 times upon arrival, and each time, the canister was full. On the 7th time, it was partially full. We bought the best air filters and have run the unit fan continuously. Even our movers commented on how musty the place smelled. The coat closet door doesn't shut all the way because it's the wrong size. The tub doesn't have the proper support underneath, and makes a loud creaking noise with any movement. I'm sure it has to annoy the downstairs neighbors.

This apartment complex is dirty, maintained poorly, and nothing seems to get fixed in a timely manner. I am paying an exorbitant amount of money to live here, and getting bugs in my apartment, a trash compactor that does not work, and having to wait months for issues to be fixed/resolved.

Apartment is flooding out and the main office is hard to get ahold of. We are also being charged for the excess water leaking. before we started to have problems with the water leaking the apartment and complex is amazing

Upon move in my AC was broken. And has taken over two weeks to fix. The apartment also needed to be cleaned a second time. And there were bugs in the bathroom and kitchen.

It is a wonderful place to live. The community is so nice and the apartments are updated and well kept. The only thing that they recently changed the parking and now it’s very challenging to have guests come visit and there is very limited guest parking spots.

I’ve lived here for 6 months now, and absolutely love it. The location is perfect with the beach and lots of great restaurants around. Having the first landing trail right by the apartment is great too. The pool area is very relaxing.

We just moved in and our apartment was cleaned very poorly, there was a nail in the garbage disposal, there were screws left on the floor, at least 3 electrical outlets don’t work, and I have found 2 roaches inside and at least 5 outside.

The elevator for my building has been out of service for over a month. It has severely impeded my quality of life and ability to move in. Communication about repairs have been woefully inadequate- last one was weeks ago. No assistance has been offered to residence.

What a great neighborhood! I have enjoyed living at these apartments 3.7 years as the new renovations ,are both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. I feel safe , the new staffing after it was sold to new management is GREAT, maintenance is helpful and my neighbors are friendly. I find the parking garage and elevators are convenient for my needs as well. Vaulted ceilings, space w a wood burning fireplace is a pleasant, warm rarity. I also enjoy the view from high floor that overlooks the pool. The open walk ways, not closed in hallways, allow for fresh air to come in as you open your door. Quiet hour, dog rules for cleanliness, and NO SMOKING in the building is what I prefer. Thanks ... 1 point , please do not raise the rent every lease renewal.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The residents are kind as well! My kids enjoy the area so far. The playground is a bit small, but my littles get creative with it.

Lots to like about this location and compound. Walking distance to a grocery store, right next to a trail that runs into First Landing State Park, and a five-minute walk from the beach. The gym could be better-maintained, but otherwise it is hard to find complaints.

I just signed my lease for the 8TH YEAR!! I love it here. The office staff is so wonderful.. Jessica, Sarah, Patience and many more! The maintenance team are the jam! Love this apartment and the community! My apartment was move in ready and I love everything about it. The neighborhood is great too, close to shops/beach/bars/etc. Moving here was one of my best decisions.

Move in was fairly seamless and everyone in the office is very kind. We had to swap units a day before move in but they accommodated our move in plans and made it happen for us & we are extremely grateful for that.

The apartment itself was not ready for move in and some of the renovations are just patching instead of actually renovated. However, the office staff immediately handled the issues. They put me in a different apartment, the maintenance people replaced the master bedroom carpet quickly, fixed the little problems and all staff have been unbelievably responsive, professional, helpful, polite and kind. The apartments are fabulous, they just need a new change over cleaning crew.

Very nice apartments with lots of parking and trees. Excellent location. The elevator made moving in much easier. The maintenance crew is very responsive to any issues even though mine was very minor. Friendly and very helpful office staff. Glad I moved here.

I have lived at Renee Marina Shores going on three years now. I love it here for the staff at the office are always helpful when I have a question, and the maintenance crew Mark, Bill,and Dee are always willing to stop and chat as well as show up in my apartment whenever I have a maintenance problem!! The location of the complex is a plus as it is close to many nice restaurants and walking distance to the beach is great!! I love the two dog parks here and it is a very friendly dog complex. I hope I will be able to live here for many more years !!

Everything went downhill after living here for a bit. My elevator has been down for over a month now. I’m pregnant and have two dogs, not to mention… there are older people who live on the 3rd floor like me. My apartment had no air filter when moving in, so I had to pay out of pocket. There are countless amount of huge roaches that are in my apartment, daily. I have taken pictures. We pay an amenity fee for the pool to close whenever they feel like it and no elevator. The gym smelled like absolute garbage for about 2 weeks before they said anything. I will not be renewing my lease here. I pay a good amount of money for a one bedroom apartment because I have nightmares from the roaches at my old place… sadly it turns out to be just like every other apartment. They just sent out an email to beware of theft also. I hope to move before having my baby.

I just moved in but so far it seems like a great community and the management seems good also. My only thing is I feel like the price is based on how close it is to the beach. I was expecting my apartment to look a lot nicer based on how much the monthly rent is but that’s also my fault for not doing a tour before signing the lease. However I do have an un-renovated unit so the renovated ones could look nicer but ofc they cost more. Another thing is there’s a food lion nearby but other than that everything is a 15-20 minute drive.

Lovely community in a great location. I love walking to the beach for sunset after work. I also enjoy going to the pool to relax, it is usually quiet and very clean.

It’s a great community with lots of amenities. The location is desirable and the people are mostly pleasant. Right across the street from the beach and you can walk to stores like food lion and pharmacy. Also right on the bike path for first landing.
