Go to talk of Pearland Ashford Remington -reviews Go to the website and see all the empty apartments (more to come). There used to always be a waiting list when BMI owned them. Remington was bought out October 2024. The new name is Ashford-Remington. Since the new manager has been here unfortunately what use to be wonderful apartments to live in have gone downhill very fast. New Manager: Davies argues with people (Definitely no people skills) Is a habitual Fibber - tells residents different things and then denies it. Davies is immature, does not go the extra mile for the residents. She does not have the life experience that it takes to manage a complex that has a lot of seniors, her experience has been managing a lower income complex, predominately Spanish speaking residents. This a totally different atmosphere. Davies has bitten off more than she can chew. The phones are never answered, goes to answering service or just rings and rings. You are never called back. Office is closed, open late, or leaves early. Does not keep the designated hours as indicated on the sign. The longtime residents are very sad to lose our great neighbors. On the average residents have been here 4-15 years. Residents that have been here 18 and 24 years have moved. I guarantee the owner does not know all the going on. Only what she wants him to believe. Otherwise, she would not be managing a multi-million-dollar complex. Ashford is now charging, 59.00 for Buildng fee, trash, extermination fee and amenities (old or Brocken equipment in the work out room, TV does not have internet so you can't watch it. a pool with algae, broken grills in the pool area and no loungers at the pool). Carport: 60.00 a month (Use to be included in your rent). On top of increase in rent. Apartments are 34 years old, and you can't use your "Garden Tub, due to rust from being resurfaced so many times. Hopefully you will take this information into consideration be renting here.
I lived at this facility for over 5 years and when BMI sold the property and Ashford Remington purchased the policy, the management of this property greatly declined. Phone calls are not answered and messages not returned. Property maintenance declined and lack of communication from office to residents. I also lived here back in the 90's when BMI was the management and they were excellent. They cared about their residents and their needs. When I left I asked for a walk through and was told NO. I had my apartment cleaned and restored and money was withheld from my original deposit with NO explanation. NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES, I would not recommend anyone to live there...Stay away...run...!!!!
Nice updated apt. Very quite gated complex. Maintenance was quick to respond to work request. Friendly management. They worked with us on our changing move in date. No parking issues.
