I lived at Ralston Park for 10 years with my children. As a single Mom of 4 I felt very safe and loved our apartment. We lived near the pool and we enjoyed many summers at the AMAZING pool. Each year management hosted a pool party and had lots of great food and prizes. We met many great friends here and we love the many resident events the office staff hosts. If you are looking for a community oriented place to live this is the place to be. The maintenance staff is quick and very responsive. Management is very friendly and always willing to help. We would have stayed if we did not out grow our apartment. We really miss living at Ralston Park! It was our home for 10 wonderful years!

This apartment was meh when I moved in three years ago. The paint job in mine is quite bad, there are several cracks appearing in multiple places, my bedroom door hasn't closed from day 1 because it is warped, and we have even just had a kitchen cabinet door randomly fall off for no reason. We always make a joke to "not look at the details" because all you will find is more things wrong with the interior. It is livable, and I will say the maintenance crew is usually very responsive when things break. They've been really great. However, I have had some bad experiences with the management here. The most recent issue, and the most troublesome for me, is their refusal to play the music they have going from 9 am - 9 pm in the pool area at a reasonable volume. First two summers I was here, it was fine. I could really only hear the music if I listened closely at the window that is next to the pool area. This year, however, they have hiked the volume to the point where I can hear it all throughout my apartment if I have my window open. I have asked them to turn down the music back down several times. First few times they would turn it down for a day or two, and then it would be right back up to the intolerable level. At some point, they just stopped bothering turning it down and suggested I move apartments. There was also an issue where we were told not to use our water until told otherwise because our downstairs neighbor was having an emergency issue. This was on a Friday, and we didn't hear anything again that night. Since it was a weekend, no one was around to tell us if we were good to use our water again. Monday morning, I sent a text to management to see if it was safe to use it again. No response. Tuesday I sent another message basically saying "okay, I'm using my water in an hour unless someone tells me not to." At that point, I got a response saying they had finished the emergency work on Friday. We went 5 days without using our water all because they did not communicate with us that it was safe to use it again. We were also told to call a security company they had hired if there was suspicious activity around the complex. I once called them to try and report some people who'd broken into the pool after hours, only to be told the security company no longer had a contract with Ralston Park. Even now there are still signs everywhere around the complex saying to call them. So all in all, it's fine until you have to deal with management.

My wife and I have lived here almost 3 yrs, and we LOVE it! It's an older complex, but the newer ones all look like boxes with a parking lot. Ralston Park Apts. have beautiful grounds & landscaping, lots of trees, two playgrounds with bball court, a fantastic swimming pool and hot tub and maybe most importantly, the staff are SO friendly and helpful. Several of the office and maintenance staff live here so they are invested in the place being well-kept and well-mannered with rules quickly enforced and maintenance needs taken care of immediately. We're so glad we found this.

Very friendly and knowledgeable office staff, excellent maintenance, beautiful grounds and outdoor pool. Basketball courts and playground area are also clean. Lots of barbecue grills and covered picnic tables. My grandson and I are very happy here. Safe area, close to lots of shopping.

I have lived at Ralston Park for approximately 5 years with my two daughters. I love it here because of how well maintained and quiet it is, but also because of the staff. They are all helpful, personable, courteous and they take care of issues that arise in a timely manner. As a single mom affordability is a priority, but safety is incredibly important and I’m grateful that management takes safety of all residents seriously. I have lived at RPA for 5 years going on 6 this summer. I absolutely love living here, I love the community, the friendships, the entire staff and how they managed these apartments, always fast service when any maintenance issues come up. The pool area and all others amenities are cleaned up nicely, in the summer they have the grass beautifully trimmed, gorgeous landscape and flowers making it a warm soothing place to come home to everyday. My forever home is at RPA, definitely 5 stars in my book. Well done.

My family and I lived here for two years. The management and maintenance staff are very professional, caring and attentive to the needs of the tenants. They communicate effectively and in a timely manner. There are many well-planned, family-friendly events throughout the year (pool & holiday parties). Signed a lease for year two. Why? Because this place is awesome that's why. I read a few reviews that were really negative. I read that these apartments are extremely small for their price, I would urge you to go to their website personally and look at their apartments yourself. You would be hard-pressed to find other apartments with this amount of square footage for a better price. I will never meet these villainous and greedy staff I read about because this is untrue. Lexi helped my family and I with a smooth transition from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. My family honestly couldn't be happier with the transition. The staff at this complex holds events for the tenants, here recently at the time of this review, they just did a complimentary wine and cheese gathering at the clubhouse. Chloe literally does breakfast once a month for everyone at the club house that wishes to attend. And newsletters are sent out to keep us informed of what's going on in our complex with upcoming events or maintenance. Sounds super evil so far huh? The Maintenance Staff are quick to resolve issues, and are helpful with any questions or concerns that I personally have had. The grounds have to be some of the best kept that I have ever lived at, and there's a lot to cover from the pool and hot tub, to the kids playground by the clubhouse, to the basketball courts and fenced-in playground, yeah all that. I take my son on walks around the complex/playgrounds and I have yet to see any trash cans that I have passed, neglected or full, out of the year that I have stayed here. I also read that the tenant population as far as class is going downhill from one review, we have a wide variety of tenants from the college students to families. Like I mentioned before I take my son on walks around the complex, most people walking their dogs or hanging out on their porches always wave at us and we wave back because we are not distant strangers, we are neighbors. All in all most of us just keep to ourselves and cherish our privacy and respect yours. You can read people's reviews and make up your mind that way or you can literally do the research, check out the apartments, take the tour and realize there's not a bunch of bad tenants, or overpriced square footage apartments, or neglected maintenance, or a greedy property management team. Price other apartments versus Ralston, compare other tours, because I did, and I signed a second lease with my family. *Mic Drop* :)

Do you love not having a place to park when you come home? Do you enjoy the old-fashioned 70s style cabinets? Do you love ice skating rinks to park your car on? If so, this is the place for you! I'm a long-time resident because they're probably the cheapest in the area - and they know it!

Our property is going through an exciting renovation. As part of the renovation, parking will be increased and the parking lot will have extra drainage to improve possible ice buildup. Our staff and contractors do an excellent job on snow days and will continue to do so in the years to come. This is a wonderful community! The management company always does fun things for the residents, they keep the grounds maintained very well, and it's in a great location!
We have lived in this community for 3 1/2 years the office and maintenance staff are amazing and very helpful. The buildings are older but very well kept and lots of great amenities here in the community. The Ralston Creek Trail is practically right in the back yard! Great schools, shopping and necessities close by too!
From the moment I walked in to the office with the great staff that will do whatever they can to make you feel like you are welcomed to helping with any questions and concerns I had. I knew I found my new home here at Ralston Park. The grounds around the complex is very well taking care of. It’s a safe family (pet) friendly environment, right in the middle of the schools I want my daughter to go. Plus any thing you are needing there is something walking distance or just a few minutes away I had to put a work order in for blinds and the fast attentive staff was there the next day which made me feel like they care about their tenants. I look forward to fitting in with this community for a long long time and I highly recommend if you are looking to consider to call this place home also!

I have lived at Ralston Park for almost 5 years and I LOVE this place. Every time I go into the leasing I am greeted with a friendly smile. The atmosphere is always fun and upbeat in the office with good energy. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrive. Maintenance is top notch here and they always complete work orders in a very timely manner. I have an elderly mother and they have always been great with her and anytime she visits we call the leasing office and they will bring the golf cart down and drive my mom from the car to our apartment as she is not able to do stairs. There is nothing that these guys won't do to make the residents happy. They put on great events that always show so much appreciation to the residents. I am looking forward to the Wine and Cheese Festival as its my favorite event that they do!

We just signed our third lease with Ralston Park Apartments. The location is great and the management staff is wonderful. We live in a three bedroom and have been very comfortable here. The management staff is also available, friendly and helpful. Maintence problems are resolved in a timely manner as well. The property is beautiful and well kept and we love it here. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, nice and comfortable place to live in Arvada.

I have never lived anywhere this money-hungry. The staff is friendly at first but don't consider renting here unless you're willing to pay more than they ask. They are not flexible or understanding and that reflects in the incredibly unfriendly atmosphere through the complex.

I rented here for over 3 years. The quality of the apartments are extremely poor & rent is incredibly over priced for what you get. Management is only concerned with making more money & treats their renters' poorly & unfairly. They take advantage and blame the renter as much as possible and will bamboozle them at time of move out. Management/office staff and maintanence is made up of family members and personal friends to the property/leasing manager (Angie). They sure do know how to keep the grounds looking nice and well maintained & they love to brag about their remodeled pool, but don't be fooled. Even an upgraded unit is not worth the price. Don't make the mistake I made, you'll be happier putting your hard earned dollars into another rental property than Ralston Park apartments.

Ralston Park is a great place to live. The management spent a ton of money last year to put on new roofs, remodeled the whole area surrounding the pool. A hot tub and outdoor kitchen was added. New wrought iron fence supports lots of beautiful flower baskets. There is a large courtyard with a small play area and picnic tables near the pool. Also lots of lounge chairs and tables. There is also a fenced play area and basketball court with a pavilion and a dog walking area and free run dog park. The grounds are beautifully manicured. Management also repaired the parking lots, sidewalks, sprinkler systems and entrance foyers. There is also a work out room at the beautiful office with a pool table and huge TV's. There is also on-site daycare. Whenever there has been a problem, maintenance replies very quickly. Management is also prompt to approach any problems. There is also laundry rooms with two brand new high tech washers and two dryers. Close to schools and bus route. The complex is old, but each unit has a patio or deck. My apartment is on the garden level and is very quiet. With the reasonable rents, it is an excellent place to live.
I love the convenience of location. Close to stores, schools,entertainment places. I received professional help in quickly getting an apartment for my situation & in this competitive market. I have new paint, carpet, floors, things are so well maintained outwardly as well! So far I'm very pleased with them.
Hi: I have lived in this apartment complext for more than 2 years. I just renewed it for another year. I have made the following observations: 1) Location - Good. There are 2 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school - within walking distance. This is why I am continuing to stay in this apartment complex. 2) Residents - Fair - Various - Quality of residents is poor. It's going downhill each month. 3) Apartment condition - Poor to Very Poor. I am very disappointed by the quality of the apartments inside. a) Size - The 2 bedroom apartment is so small that it feels claustrophobic. They are like closets. b) Carpet - Very poor. The carpet is in poor condition. The Skyline/Ralston Park Management do not believe in putting good quality carpets. My carpet is several years old. It feels like I am walking on a sub floor. They don't care. c) Electric - Poor - The electrical outlets are not good quality. d) Bathroom - Poor - The sink, toilet and bathtub is very old. They creak when using it. Very poor quality material. The sinks are small. They do have a 2nd sink only. But, they claim 2 bathrooms even though the 2nd sink is practically useless. There is no room to stand and brush your teeth without your elbows hitting the side walls. Like I said, a closet! e) Plumbing - Very Poor. The plumbing is very old. The water does not drain. I have complained several times but, they do not do the necessary repair. They always claim that the plumbing is so old that they cannot do any repairs. f) Swimming pool - fair - The management spent an inorrdinate amount of money to rebuild a swimming pool and hot tub. They have jacked up the rent to the amount of at least $300/month. g) Management - Poor. The management has a very poor attitude towards their residents. They know that families with children stay here because of the 3 schools. There are 2 other apartments but they are even worse. When residents vent their frustrations, their usual comeback is that if you don't like it, leave and find some other place. No empathy at all. 4) General - The Skyline/Ralston Park management has decided to hike up the rent by at least $300/month. A 2 bedroom apartment is $1300/month for a poor quality apartment. They have renters similar to a hostage situation. Houses in this neighborhood have gone through the roof and made is impossible for anyone to move into a house. In conclusion, this apartment complext does NOT pgive value for your money.
I love, absolutely love, where I live... Separated from my husband a few years back, I wanted to move closer to my daughters dance studio and my job in Broomfield (second job is downtown Denver). I also wanted to remain with in Jefferson County Schools, where my children were brought up in. I work nights at my second job, so it was important to me to find a safe neighborhood as well. I found the perfect home right across the street from Arvada West High School. One is finishing up her high school education this year and the other is just starting his high school years, they finally get to walk together, but they don't. My home is ten minutes from the dance studio and 20 minutes to both my jobs. And try not to laugh, but I can actually see downtown Denver from MY balcony! In this neighborhood I feel comfortable enough to let my young teenage son ride his scooter/skateboard to and from the skate park (great free fun) which is near the Apex Center, around 2 miles in distance. And although we do not get to use the amenities as much as we would like, due to our busy schedules, we love knowing we could take a dip in the newly renovated pool or hot tub (open all year round), have a barbecue in the new courtyard or work out in the club house, not to mention having a complimentary continental breakfast on Saturday mornings. My neighbors are wonderful and I have gotten to know them through their dogs, they just put in a newly gated dog park right next to my building! Our cat doesn't mind the dogs because of privacy windows, she can't see them unless they are right under her. There are laundry facilities in the next building but I prefer going one block west towards a very affordable laundry mat, the owner is super sweet and sometimes he brings in his very friendly dog. I sometimes grab a frozen yogurt which is right next door or if I'm feeling very indulgent, I grab a cone at the Diary Queen, which is in the same lot. There is a grocery store within walking distance, a drugstore right on the corner and a great selection of restaurants nearby to choose from, too many to list. The only one negative thing and the only thing keeping me from rating this place 5 stars (and because this review does sound too good to be true) is the rising rent costs. I'm finishing up my second year here and would hate to move, but I'm not sure how I will afford the rent since they are raising it yet again this year, maybe I'll win this rent for life. This is a perfect apartment complex to have a family in. There is a private pool, park, and basketball court. It's near a great school Arvada West High School! We are conveniently located near Old Towne with easy access to the highway. All the staff are open and friendly and will go the extra mile for their tenants. I would highly recommend this complex to my friends! Plus it's pet FRIENDLY!
I like the convenient location to the area. Management are very on top of taking care of issues and are willing to help when they can. They are very responsible and responsive. Even though the buildings are older, but they do a great job in upgrades to ensure it presents a clean, safe, friendly environment. The recently updated clubhouse, play area, basketball courts, and pool amenities are huge pluses! The landscape presents a nice park environment.
We moved into the state with no knowledge of the area, Denver or the surrounding. The 1st place we moved to we thought was good, but over time realized the lack of care and how the area seemed to be dieing instead of thriving or revitalizing as so much of Denver is, it became a depression. When are lease was coming up we knew it was time and started looking for a new apt with little luck. Desperation lead us to look up random places and we stumbled across Ralston Park Apts! Thank goodness- in our price range, with some added space(we were in need at the old place), parking in a lot not street,and pet friendly-just what we needed we thought, but it turned out better then we thought! Dog park (built sturdy and long enough for short runs), basketball court, volleyball court, daycare for kids, multiple grill areas with shaded tables at all, kids playgrounds, pool/hot tub, and free brunch every Saturday!!!
Ralston Park Apartments is a great apartment complex to stay in. The apartments are spacious but cozy at the same time. The leasing professionals are all very friendly and ready to help at any time the office is open. All of our maintenance requests are completed professionally and quickly. The community has recently been renovated, with a new pool and Jacuzzi being installed and the play area being improved. The only complaints that I have are that the apartment in a little too old and isn't very soundproof. However, for the price that you're paying, what you're getting in return is great.
Best amenities for your dollar you could ask for. Pet friendly, steam baseboard heating (great on utilities for the winter.) Beautiful views thanks to the excellent landscaping team. Large pool area with hot tub, grill, and picnic area. Did I mention picnic areas? They're everywhere. Small grills conveniently placed next to picnic tables with umbrella shades, and a large charcoal grill with smoker sidecar next to the HUGE outdoor eating, playground, basketball court, etc. Also a volleyball court, exercise room, and continental breakfast every weekend! The apartments themselves are conventiently located near shopping, restaurants, and Ralston Park itself where many events are held. We just attended a beer and bbq festival and all we had to do was walk across the street!
Me, my girlfriend, our dog and our cat have just recently moved to Denver. We are from the Washington DC metro area and were looking for apartments online for a long time until we found this nice little community in Arvada. The management team here was really helpful and provided us with all information we needed. Since we couldn't go apartment hunting, that was the perfect fit for us. Everything was online; floor plans, apartment video tour and helpful information about the community and the surroundings. We pretty much rented a apartment we have never seen before. Once we arrived, we were really impressed. Very welcoming staff, great apartment and a great location for the four of us. We are really happy that we have found a 2 BDR apartment for such a great price between Boulder and Denver. I have lived at Ralston Park for 1 1/2 and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have done so many improvements over the last 2 years me and my children love it here. The maintenance staff is always quick to complete my work orders. I love the new pool and pavilion area that was added and upgraded. I love being part of a community, its an awesome feeling.
I as a renter have piece of mind that I as a senior have all the amenitys And don't have to worry about the yard work.I can enjoy all the parks and trails located near by and we are blessed with beautiful sunsets and unique weather in the Mile High City.
I've never rented from somewhere before that is on YOUR side when rent is going up all the time. It's a fact of life for renters, but Ralston Park Apt work with you and your budget! This is a family run apartment complex and it shows with all the events they put on to create a community feel as well as how well they keep the apartments up inside and out! What's more is they have amazing maintenance staff that get anything you need done in your apartment and out in a very timely fashion. I don't ever want to move again!
This apartment is lovely! It is centrally located between Boulder and Denver in Arvada, CO. It's close to downtown Arvada (lovely quaint little town near the city). There are busses and trains (starting 2016) nearby so great for an easy trip downtown or commute. The parking is wonderful - just outside the front door with assigned spots. There are lots of amenities, such as pool, hot tub, laundry in each building, dog park. The staff is friendly and the neighbors are nice. It's clean and well taken care of. Lovely, lovely place.
I moved from Arizona to Colorado in May of 2014. I had been looking for apartments online for over a couple months. Most apartments I had to leave a message for, and some I never got calls back. Others said they would put me on a waiting list. With the high demand of people moving to Colorado, most places had long waiting lists. When I called Ralston Park, my call was answered immediately, even though it was 5:00 pm and an hour time difference for me. The manager Angie still took the time to give me all the information I needed and answered all my questions. She instantly sent me all the info I needed to get my application started via email. I filled out all the paperwork and faxed it over that night. The next morning I received a call back that all my information was cleared and I was good to go! The apartment was mine! I couldn't have been happier that they were on the ball in the office. When I finally moved a month later to Colorado and arrived at my apartment, all paperwork was ready to go and be signed. I did my walk through and received my keys. The next day I had noticed a small hole in the ceiling of the closet. I called the office and within an hour maintience was there to fix it. Through the year, they have offered great get togethers for ALL their residents and fun little holiday parties, along with a yearly pool party! The office staff and maintience crew are above and beyond wonderful! Always willing to help out any way they can. Site unseen, I couldn't be happier with choosing Ralston Park Apartments as my new home! Prices are competitive and not over inflated for this great place, and the crime rate is extremely low... I would recommend it to anyone! This apartment complex is the best ever!
