Neighborhood - Paine Field-Lake Stickney
Paine Field-Lake Stickney
The Paine Field - Lake Stickney neighborhood is mix of industrial, commercial and residential areas. Paine Field, a large industrial airport primarily used by Boeing's sprawling airplane manufacturing plant, dominates the northwest end of the neighborhood. Adjacent to the airport, you will find numerous industrial companies, many involved in Boeing's supply chain.
Moving east of the airport, you will find a commercial area along the busy Highway 99, a route dominated by restaurants, auto and RV dealerships, and various other auto-related businesses. The Lake Stickney portion of the neighborhood, located east of Highway 99 and bordered by Interstate 5 to the east, is primarily residential and home to Mariner High School.
The neighborhood is located in the southwest corner of Everett and adjacent to the town of Mukilteo, which sits on the Puget Sound. Downtown Seattle is 25 miles south of the neighborhood, while downtown Everett is 5 miles to the north.
