We love living here! Excellent location, beautiful townhomes, immaculately maintained common areas, and attentive and friendly staff. Promenade Oaks is the best place to rent in Eagan!
We’ve lived in the area for 10ish years and at Promenade for the last 3. To say we feel at home is an understatement. Our neighbors are great, and the staff is amazing! If we have an issue, things are fixed quickly! Our ac went out last year and we had a back up unit at our place within the hour (on a Sunday). The ac was fixed the same week and they replaced our furnace at the same time so we wouldn’t have issues! We love it here!
I have been one of the community family since September 2021 and I really like this Promenade Oaks family. The administrative staff is very understanding and cooperative. Thank you, guys! Nassr
This place has everything you need. The staff are all very helpful. The area around has it all.
Promenade oaks is such a great place to live! My daughters and I always feel safe and know there is always someone around to talk to! We love exploring the trails and use the park/pool all the time. The staff is amazing, they always respond super fast and are always willing to answer questions and help in any way they can. My favorite thing about living here has to be being able to sit outside our house while the kids ride their bikes up and down the sidewalk! The in-unit laundry is also a huge bonus! GREAT place to live in the heart of Eagan!
The grounds are beautiful and well kept; maintenance requests are cheerfully received and handled promptly; I love my apartment - I’ve made it my own personal oasis.
After living here for six years, I’m preparing to move as I’m buying a home. If you’re looking for a home to rent, I recommend you consider Promenade Oaks. I have have loved how the apartment homes are set up more like townhomes. I have also loved the amenities such as the in-unit washer and dryer and the underground parking garage that is included in the rent. Many of the staff are truly invested in this apartment community as they also live here on site. They’re committed to making this place a nice, comfortable, and safe place to live.
Promenade Oaks is a beautiful, well maintained property. The staff is genuinely friendly and do a great job of taking care of the community.

I've lived here just about a year now and have been so impressed with the customer service that the office staff and maintenance crew has provided me with. I have countless examples, but most recently an example really stood out to me where my hot water heater wasn't working one evening so I called the emergency maintenance line. Shortly after my call, there was a maintenance worker at my apartment, working on the problem, and fixed it all within 30 minutes. Awesome service!
The other day maintenance staff Michael and Adam stopped their cart in the garage and helped me get my flat tire inflated. They took the time to make sure I had my compressor hooked up properly so I could drive it out of the property to get it fixed once inflated. They even stopped back to check on my progress. They went out of their way from a busy day to help. The office staff has always been attentive to any of my concerns, questions and work orders.
Promenade Oaks is a great residential community. The staff, the amenities, and location all are awesome. Staff are attentive and friendly - love the tenant appreciation events! The units are spacious and unique; and access to shopping, nature and transit promote high walkability. I am a long term resident, and if you want to live in a nice, safe, and inviting community....you should live at Promenade Oaks!
The whole property is very well maintained inside and out. The sign up process was seamless and we got to tour multiple different lay outs to find the perfect fit for our family.
The staff and residents are very friendly and always go out of their way to help to the best of their ability!

I’ve called Promenade oaks home for almost 4 years. Great location close to 35e and close to all the stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. The homes are very nice, I live in a 3 bedroom and I really like the floor plan. Great place to live, I’ve enjoyed my time here.
I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. The office staff is very helpful and quick to resolve any issues. The weight room and pool areas are very nice. The property is pet friendly which was a must for me.
Due to retirement, I sold my home 3 years ago and chose to move to Promenade Oaks because of the townhome amenities, access to outdoor nature and natural spaces including woods and a small pond, and personal privacy. On Easter Sunday, I enjoyed watching 3 large geese swimming and 4 small turtles sunning on tree trunks in the water (with heads fully extended as they enjoyed the warmth of the sun). It did not take me long to discover the very BEST amenity for me as a single woman at Promenade Oaks. I have always felt safe living here, even in the middle of the night, and that includes the garage and outside. The extra lighting helps, but it is more about the friendliness and neighborliness and quality of the persons who choose Promenade Oaks as their home! Another thing that has meant so much to me is how the office staff and maintenance crew truly care about me, and I consider them as friends who will go out of their way to meet any extra needs I may have. And I do appreciate the cross-section of people of all ages and ethnicities, including people with pets and families with children of all ages. I am so grateful that the perfect 2 bedroom townhome for me was available at Promenade Oaks when I was looking for a rental home 3 years ago!
I lived in Promenade Oaks when they opened in 1997 until we moved from Minnesta a year and a half later. It was a good experience so when I came back to Eagan and was looking for a rental townhome, it was the first place I thought of. I have not been disappointed. The staff is efficient, friendly and take care of any questions, maintenance requests and issues that arise in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Promenade Oaks as a great place to live.

I really enjoy living at Promenade Oaks! The office staff are super friendly, helpful, and I would even consider them friends now! The pool is a great place to hangout in the summer time. When we first moved in, our fridge stopped working and within a day we had a new fridge. The maintenance staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and experienced with concerns that could arise in a townhome. Since Promenade Oaks is dog friendly, I always see so many pups out and about when it's nice out. I love that Promenade Oaks is tucked away with plenty of trees, grass, and flowers that are always blooming. It's also across from the Promenade Center that has plenty of shopping, food, and groceries. My roommate and I like to walk to Panera, Houlihan's, and Jake's City Grill. My bank is down the street within walking distance too! I highly recommend checking them out for a nice and worry free townhome community.
I’ve been living at Promenade Oaks for a year now and absolutely love everything about this place. The staff is very friendly and responds to questions or requests promptly. They also provide notices well in advance (fire alarm testing, garage door maintenance, etc.). I also love that you can pay rent online and it’s taken from your account promptly - the last place I rented at could take up to 2 weeks to charge. The common areas (grounds, parking garages, pool, etc.) are well maintained and clean. The units feel like a home rather than an apartment - I’m in a 2 bedroom and it’s nice to have the living room, kitchen and half bath downstairs and the bedrooms, full bathrooms and laundry unit upstairs. I’ve previously rented an apartment and house, and Promenade Oaks is the best place to rent by far.
I have been here at Promenade Oaks for over 4 years and I absolutely love it! Felix and Jose are awsome and fix any issue I have ever had usually the same day and they couldn't be nicer! The ladies in the office are so friendly every time I go into the office and always remember my name and apartment number. This is the best place I have ever lived. I love that it is an apartment, but it looks and feels like a townhouse. I have my own entry and I can even grill on my patio. I wish that there was a little more outside parking for guests, but overall it will be my home for many years!
Friendly staff and nice set ups but walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations at normal speaking volume from neighbors, never mind TV's and kids. Plenty of other residents I've spoken with have expressed the same issues. Regret moving here
Please don't go there and get caught up! Lived there for 2 years had a bad carpet when I moved in asked them to change it couple of times they said it's good it just need shampooing . They never changed it till the end right before moving out the manger comes n tells me all looks great . On the day of move out I had a move out inspection and she tells me all looks great u won't have any charges other than 50 dollars. After a month I get bill for 2400 dollars the explaination for it was they had to change my carpet after I moved out . No proof of it till now . I went to the office after getting the bill she said she doesn't have time to look at my file so asked me leave and she said she ll call me in two days . Never called me back and today I get a letter from the collection office . I called her again today all that she says is it gone to the collection office now you need to deal with them . Bad management and bad customer service. Please don't go there and get caught up with their lease . They will drain all your money .
I absolutely love my home here! It is so much more then just an apartment, it truly feels like a home. I live in a two level townhome and have tons of room! There is lots of space for my two dogs and we enjoy walking around the community and up to the shops that are so close. The staff is very nice and anytime I have something that needs to be fixed in my home it is taken care of immediately. I plan to stay here for several years to come. I would recommend my home to anyone!
I've lived at Promenade Oaks for just about a year now. I've never lived some where the employees treat you like family. Every time I'm out walking my dog or at the park with the kiddos, the maintenance staff or caretakers always stop to say hello. When I go into the office to get a package, all the girls know me by name. It's just small things that really are wonderful! They have resident events throughout the year that are spectacular! They do such a good job decorating and always have the best food! It's nice to come and get to know your neighbors too! The property is in such great location- just walking distance to shopping! If you're looking for a great place to live where they really treat you nice, Promenade Oaks would be the best choice! I've already referred my friend and I got a $300 credit off my rent!
My apartment is amazing. It has the feeling of living in a house. I can have my dog here, which isn't always easy to find. There is pool which is so relaxing and enjoyable, and the neighbors I've met are really friendly. It is near a lot of excellent shopping, all within walking distance!! I have lived in several apartments, and this easily the best one. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to live!!!
My apartment is amazing. It is so spacious and really feels like a house. There are so many restaurants and places to get your shopping done, and a lot of it is within walking distance! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. It is also fantastic that I can have my dog here, which isn't always the easiest thing to find. The whole property is really quiet, and the pool definitely helps me relax during the summer. Having lived in different parts of the Twin Cities, this is the best place that I have found. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to live!!
My family and I have lived here for just about a year and we love it! Our home is just that, a home... It doesn't feel like an apartment. We have our own private entry and one of the best features is that we can grill on our own patio! I love my huge walk in closet in the master bedroom and with 2 and a half bathrooms, it's great that we don't all have to share. I would highly recommend living here to anyone who wants a great home!
I signed my lease at Promenade Oaks a few weeks before new management took over. The staff who showed me the property and walked through my lease with me are part of why I wanted to live here, they were awesome. The new staff has been less than helpful. They are all rude and stuck up and very difficult to work with. I have had numerous encounters with them that left me feeling frustrated and unimportant. As far as the property goes, the units are very spacious. There is a washer and dryer in each unit but they are very cheap and do not work well. Also, the walls are extremely thin. So even though you feel like you have your own small house, you can still hear everything your neighbors are doing. Basically, I am very happy to be moving out, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
