Small in size but big on character, Dogpatch is a trendy, historic neighborhood that blends its industrial roots with a modern, artistic vibe. The area developed during the 1800s as a shipbuilding district. The large warehouses and factories that once dominated this part of San Francisco now serve as apartments, art studios, and offices. Slightly secluded and infinitely cool, this historic district has developed into a community of artists – but some of that grit still remains.
Dogpatch sits along the waterfront, directly east of Potrero Hill and south of Mission Bay. Unlike most of San Francisco, the neighborhood is fairly flat and very walkable. Residents also get around by bicycle and by mass transit – the T-line serves the neighborhood, and you can catch the train at the 20th Street Station. It’s also less foggy than the rest of San Francisco, and locals claim this neighborhood has the best weather in the city.

the apartments are good. House a good community but the management is completely tone deaf to the residents. Arbitrarily changing rules and causing unnecessary inconvenience to residents. eg. One out of two elevators have been non functional for over 4 months now causing delays during peak hours. The roof has been stripped of cushions on the chairs so we can’t host events up there anymore Fire alarm testing is done randomly (yes, sometimes without prior notification) disturbing not only the residents but also the SFFD by having them drive down to the building for no reason. There have been issues with the water randomly (the water just stops working at night and no one knows why) The emergency number to help residents with unit issues at odd hours has been replaced by an AI. I am for digitizing and moving into the future but the human connection is still important especially when it’s an emergency. This management has no idea what they are doing and are happy to keep experimenting new ways to save money regardless of how that impacts the residents who do pay an exorbitant amount in rent each month. I promise you, you will have find a better apartment than this one Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT sign with them.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re currently in the process of replacing the rooftop furniture cushions and look forward to their arrival. Residents were notified in advance of recent fire inspections through both posted notices and email communication. The recent water shutoff was due to an unexpected incident, and a notice was sent to the building once the issue was identified. Our emergency maintenance line remains active, and all after-hours work orders are followed up on promptly - either by phone, text, or a notice if the issue is already being addressed. Potrero Launch is a great apartment building. The gym and rooftop deck are fantastic. The leasing team and maintenance staff are quick to respond and both friendly and helpful. I love the industrial appearance of the apartments with larger open spaces and natural lighting.

I have very poor maintenance results, had submitted other requested other things like the washer/dryer and stove never fixed now the sink faucet. I missed the previous manager and maintenance personal who respond in the first 24hrs very profesional.
Lovely views in a wonderful neighborhood. The process of moving into the apartment proved to be a major letdown. Staff knowledge was inconsistent or non-existent. We love living here, despite the shortcomings.

Very unprofessional team. I recommend leasing with Windsor in Dogpatch over Potrero Launch. We had multiple difficulties finishing the application. We were not able to use the online application due to an error on their portal. We had to have multiple calls in order to have our application filled out over the phone. We did not receive any communication during this process and furthermore we had to reach out ourselves multiple times to solve the issue. Their office was quite unresponsive. There were many instances where their office told us they would give us a call back the same day and we never received a call. This was happening after they had already taken our money for the application fee and security deposit. Our security deposit was not given back to us even though it was not clear that the security deposit served the purpose of a security deposit. If we had not reached out multiple times throughout the days we probably wouldn't even have the application done. Their office put no effort into informing us of the problem and no effort into fixing it until we prodded them to do so.

Excellent location by Crane Cove Park, retail and dining. Pretty community, contemporary units with high ceilings and polished concrete floors. Rooftop deck with stunning views of the Bay and park. Friendly and helpful management team.

Overall good experience. Only thing, would like the maintenance team to be quicker in their response times to come fix issues in the apartment. They should hire more than one maintenance person.

Potrero Launch on 3rd Street in dogpatch has been a good place to live. The staff are very responsive and authentic, and I have come to really love the neighborhood despite all the construction.

As a newcomer to San Francisco, this apartment community has been the ideal place to live. I had a wishlist of amenities that I was looking for and they have been able to match what I needed. The management team has been very personable and incredibly helpful. The area is very safe, close to public transport and great coffee, food and bars within two blocks of the building.
