Pretty good a few things I didn’t like & I didn’t like about how they went about the problem other then that I liked & enjoyed living there did wish we could sit in courtyard all year long
The neighborhood is great and has a lot to offer. The apartment itself is nice and pretty updated, which I really appreciate. Most of the staff are super friendly, and maintenance has always been quick to fix any issues I've had. One thing I’d suggest is trying to avoid an apartment that faces the courtyard since it can get pretty loud. Other than that, it’s been a good experience overall.
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. This place has extreme issues with humidity (HVAC ventilation) and no follow up from the staff.
I will provide a more thorough review at a later date. Briefly, I have experienced issue after issue maintenance wise, have been displaced multiple times from my apartment without compensation or accommodation and have been in the dark communication wise from upper to local management. I unfortunately would not recommend Porter or Greystar to anyone.
My experience at Porter Street Apartments is wonderful. The Residents are Wonderful and I enjoy seeing all the different breeds of dogs and being to form bonds with most of tge dogs by handing out doggie treats everyday. The area is wonderful, beautiful and walkable.
Overall good experience. Timely maintenance and safe area. Gym could be a lot bigger. Pricey for the size of a studio but given the area probably safest place to live

Great location, great neighbors. I have lived in other Greystar neighborhoods and apartments in Baltimore and this one beats all of them. I even love having a lifeguard but dislike the hours the pool is open. Great community events and even better cleanliness.

Moving in was easy and hassle-free. The concierge, leasing agent, and maintenance team are all very friendly and helpful. The building itself is peaceful, and I feel secure in the neighborhood. My only concern has been with canceling my parking. The building manager claims a 30-day notice is required, but this policy isn't mentioned in the lease I signed. They simply say, "That's how we do it," which doesn't seem legally valid.

The office is poorly managed, communication is truly awful from the team, and maintenance crew is nice but do not complete projects. My heat was broken for 4 weeks (the office argued with me about it) and once fixed there’s now a huge hole/opening in the ceiling right outside my door that has yet to be fixed.

Terrence is beyond helpful and if it weren’t for him this place would be a disaster truly. They keep it very clean which is nice. Sometimes no one is at the front desk and just anyone can walk in it’s strange. There should be 24/7 security

I have been without working air conditioning for 7 weeks. Using portable AC which are taped to the windows with duct tape and frequently come undone by the temperature of the connecting hoses. At times the temperature has been up to 87 degrees in my apartment. Unable to use the stove or guest room as a result of the heat. Having to come home from work midday to check on my pets and make sure the portable AC has not come undone. Unable to travel as I can’t leave my pets all day in an apartment with intermittent AC when it’s 95 degrees out. Spent Two nights without AC and was unable to sleep as the apartment temperature was in the 80s and had to report to work in the morning. Very demoralized by this situation.

I lived at this property for a little over a year. Pros: •Security- you need a key fob to access the building, elevators, and the upper levels of the garage. •Easy access to I-95 and Downtown Baltimore. •Walkability & Location- selection of multiple businesses and parks within walking distance. Cons: •Building Quality-Even though it is a newer building, it is cheaply built, poor noise insulation between apartments, sloppy finishes. •Maintenance- I experienced a rodent issue within the first 3 months of living there, where they had to patch up holes under the bathroom sink. It took maintenance over a week to respond to the request. One maintenance request was ignored entirely after following up several times. •The garage gate system repeatedly malfunctioned, at times not being able to enter the top floors and having trouble leaving. At the same time, they increased the price for daily guest parking with no reasonable explanation. •Even though it is a newer building, the HVAC system consistently malfunctioned resulting in not being to use AC and Heating at critical times.

Have lived here for 6 years. Overall it has been clean, amenities are well maintained, packages are easy to pickup and service requests are handled promptly.

Great building and neighborhood! Walking distance to restaurants, shopping. Exit right on 95 is great for commuting. Easy to move into! pool and gym are great.

The entire touring and lease application process was smooth and worry-free. Brandi- the leasing agent I worked with was very warm and welcoming. The lobby and common areas are always very clean, warm, and welcoming. The location is prime with a Harris Teeter across the street.

Excellent location, centrally located to shopping, eating and many things to do. The staff is very professional and go out of their way to assist the residents. The complex is always clean, inviting and quite. I must say, selecting Porter Street Apt was a GOOD choice.

I have lived here since August and have had multiple issues with the leasing office that I'm not even sure where to start. Prior to even moving in, I basically had to harass the leasing office via phone/email/in person to get our lease sent to us. It was eventually sent the day before we moved in and it didn't even have the correct monthly rent amount, resulting in us signing the lease days after we moved in. I'm not sure how a lease isn't a priority to them? And thank god I was off work the day before our move in which was inspection day, because the cleaning people did such a terrible job that I had management make them come back twice to actually clean. It was so stressful dealing with the leasing office before moving in that I guess I shouldn't be shocked they still suck now. I've never dealt with such an incompetent leasing office. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone about an issue I reported almost 2 weeks ago.......

It's like living in a fancy hotel!! I love it. I've always walked by the building and thought "this would be a nice place to live." From the beautifully landscaped grounds to the large, floor to ceiling windows. It's a new building, quiet and peaceful with all the tech amenities a work from home business owner could want. I'm so glad we moved here.

The level of care and regard for all residents safety during the pandemic with the updates they made to the building makes me feel comfortable knowing Im living in a safe place! I appreciate them going to extra mile to still allow us to use the amenities and have events safely.

I love where I live, the amenities could be better compared to other properties in the area. A big selling point for me moving here was paying rent and having everything including. However Im very concerned about renewal and the fact that most likely Ill be leaving Porter Street to live on the other side of Fort Ave. The anthem house seems a bit more secure, with some better amenities.
