Located about eight miles north of Downtown Seattle, the area of Lake City was once a railroad stop. It was named in 1906 and quickly developed into a suburb of Seattle. During Prohibition, the area was unincorporated. So when Seattle joined Prohibition, Lake City supplied the roadhouses and speakeasies barred from the nearby city. Lake City became a Seattle neighborhood in the mid-1950s. With Lake Washington as the neighborhood’s sparkling gem, residents are rediscovering this northern neighborhood.
Lake City stretches from the lake to roughly 15th Avenue in North Seattle. While the speakeasies are long gone, there are several popular destinations along Lake City Way, including HellBent Brewing Company Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery, Brother Barrel, and 2C Thai. If you are moving to Lake City with a pet, you’ll appreciate Dogwood Play Park, an indoor dog park and bar complete with a treat bar and birthday cakes for pet parties.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Park 3025
Park 3025 is in a great location, and I enjoyed my 2 bedroom, 1&3/4 bath layout. The apartment manager Kathleen is friendly, informative, and helpful. I enjoyed my neighbors and it was nice to have convenient parking in the garage. Although some of the amenities were shut down to COVID, I highly recommend park 3025.
The location of this apartment can't be beat! It is nestled between major streets/highways, but off-street so hardly any road noise, parks and beaches are a quick drive, and the neighborhood is bright and walkable to nearby restaurants, coffee, sweets, banks, and groceries. The complex is always well kept with on-site and friendly maintenance (thanks Steve!). It is also has beautiful interior decorating so it feels more like a home. The common area when open is inviting and fun to have company over. The community is courteous including the pets. The best part of living here is Kathleen, the property manager. She is the warmest, most thoughtful, and thoroughly communicative property manager that exists. You will feel completely taken care of if you live here. I hope to be back one day!
I just spent a wonderful year at these apartments and am sad to go! The only reason I left is because I relocated to Oregon to be near my boyfriend but wish I could have picked up this complex and brought it with me. The apartment itself is beautifully upgraded and so spacious. It's truly a hidden gem in Seattle and great pricing. The maintenance worker, Kyle, became great friends with my pup and was always super friendly and attentive to any needs we had. The bottom floor of the complex has multiple TVs that residents can access 24/7 to watch whatever your heart desires. I never needed to buy cable and watched lots of Sounders games and weekly tv shows with no issues. The fireplace in front of one of the TVs is super cozy! :) The bottom floor also has a pool table and shuffleboard which is fun on a night in with friends or whomever. The gym is in great condition and was awesome to pop down to without even leaving the complex. The sense of community is great; friendly, quiet neighbors that aren't nosy or overbearing. My dog and I made lots of friends there. It's super close to the light rail to head downtown, Fred Meyer is walking distance as is a brewery, it's really easy to jump on I-5, easy to get to Greenlake, and I had a great nail place in walking distance too. Kathleen always made sure residents were aware of any entries to apartments a week in advance usually and I fully trusted them going into my apartment without me there. I had to have Kyle do so a few times and nothing went wrong. Last but not least, Kathleen, the office manager, truly holds this place together. She is the best person I've ever dealt with when living in apartments. She's so friendly and helpful and really cares about making this the best place to live. She hosted parties for residents and always had fresh coffee for me in the mornings, as I work from home. Anything I needed, she was readily available to assist and just a wonderful person to know! I'll miss her most of all! Thanks to Park 3025 for making my living experience in Seattle top notch!
I sold my home and chose Park 3025 for a comfortable retirement residence. It is kept clean, the grounds are well kept and the interior is well decorated. The management has responded well to all repair requests. The neighbors have all been pleasant. The management and maintenance staff are friendly and care about their tenants. All units are being renovated after they are vacated. Sure there is noise, which is expected, work begins at 9 AM and finishes fairly early in the evening. For the most part it is quite here at Park 3025. The contractors have always been courteous to my wife and me. We enjoy the workout room with it's ample equipment and especially the dog bath facility. The secure underground parking and elevators are a great features.
The overly positive review on here was obviously written by apt management. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. Paper thin walls, overpriced and poorly designed units, guaranteed rent increases, passive aggressive notes from management, ridiculous decor rules, lazy and incompetent staff who will not respond to maintenance needs...this place is a headache. So glad to be out. They will not return your security deposit. They will enter your apt without permission. Not a good idea to rent here.
If you love being over charged for nonexistent amenities, loud construction and nosy neighbors, this is the place for you! I currently live here and it's the worst. The agents will tell you everything you want to hear in such a friendly way, until you sign your freedoms away in an over priced lease. I pay about $340 more then other apartments in the area and for what? A loud, rude and uncaring construction crew? Or maybe noisy, nosy and intrusive neighbors. No, it's definitely for the lack of parking, false aspirations of nonexistent amenities and unprofessional staff. "It's a good neighborhood." If you enjoy finding needles and drugs in the parking lot, crack heads wandering about the streets and gangs of people dancing chaotically in the roads. My apartment was (an attempt to be) broken into the first two weeks I was here. Now they want to charge for parking in the parking lot and the garage or you have to park on the street and have your car be keyed or broken into. If you have any sense you'll find a better, less expensive, more professional place to live. Sincerely, A regretful resident.
Park 3025 is a wonderful community in which to live. The residents are diverse, friendly and respectful, and the management is very courteous and professional. The building and units are beautifully maintained, and the location is easily accessible to the interstate, parks, restaurants and entertainment.
