I went to see this apartment and got bamboozled. When I arrived management was nowhere to be seen as well the apartment do not look like the pictures as on the website.this is unprofessional they should show what the apartment looks like in reality. It stinks like cigarettes, and it smells like weed all through the apartment area.
I've been a tenant for the past 5 years. In those 5 years there have been new management who have increased the rent an additional 200 dollars in the past two years and have added a water fee to the rent. For the past 5 years I've had a leaky roof, affecting the living room and kitchen ceiling. It's been "fixed" for the past 5 years with no success. There are mice no matter how many traps are set. There are apartments which have been upgraded to look prettier for the new tenants however there hasn't been any accommodations or effort or offers to upgrade current tenants living space. The only reason I give 2 stars is because maintenance shows up and takes care of the little things for the most part.
This is my first apt, and before I moved I ask was there a rodent or roach problem I was told no...and that they exterminate the place often. I'm a very neat woman and have huge fear of rodent. But that doesn't mean a thing because I'm now stuck with an apt that has a dumpster right in my back yard and neighbors with no common courtesy, that literally stand on their balcony an throw trash I'm my back yard, to avoid coming downstairs to actually aim at the dumpster... And now I'm seeing rodent in my apartment and no matter how many times I contact maintenance about the issue they never do anything to help me. other than giving me sticky pads to put around the apt. Instead of calling an exterminator to get rid the infestation...my God son usually comes here and I'm afraid of him catching anything due to the disease roddents Carries. I was told no pets yet I constantly here dogs barking in the apt. My thing is this is a business they expect you to pay your rent every month on time but they do not do what needs to be done to get rid of the things that could actually drown their businesses. if it wasn't for my income issue at this moment, I really never would have moved here and I don't recommend anyone to move here also. Your first appointment supposed to be great experience and so for mice. Has been disgusting I really hope that I can win this thank you for listening and reading.
