Oregon 42

I love this residential community. First, the location, on the top of the hill of West Seattle Junction, with one of the best views in town; also great convenient location to restaurants and shops. Second, the building value; with top of the line appliances, amenities and comfort. Third, the apartment itself is spacious, well designed, and and well maintained. Fourth, the management and maintenance staff aren't just helpful but friendly and always willing to help with a bright smile. Hands down my favorite community in Seattle.

I just moved in to Oregon 42 less than a month. Two things I like the most (so far) about this community: 1) leasing office with Julie and Drew, both are so nice & helpful and provide great service , 2) the maintenance staff whom very responsive & dedicated, I put in a request for few things need to be fixed and everything was done the next day. I highly recommend this community for your next move. Give it a chance by taking a tour with one of the leasing agents. You won’t be disappointed

I just moved to Oregon42 and I was impressed with everything so far. Julie and Drew provided super service. The community is clean & well maintained. I haven’t met a lot of other tenants so that remains unseen. I highly recommend if you are in searching for a place to live in West Seattle put Oregon42 on your list and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Overpriced, undermaintained, and wholly unremarkable. A standard issue gentrification building with the typical optimistic faux-luxury pricing.

Cannot beat the location. Great neighbors and staff too.

I've lived here since they opened (2014) and I have been more than pleased with the care and competence of all the staff,\ and the convenience of the location for my lifestyle. Moving here was simply a great choice.

I absolutely love it here. The apartment is great and has more amenities than I could have hoped for. All of the staff have been very kind and helpful and do a great job keeping the property a place I am proud to say is my new home.

The location is awesome! the property is nice and quite. Rooftop is insane - dog park and fire pits grills even a community garden. The apartment ended up looking just like the pictures!! The gym is really well set up and they even has a dog wash! Never lived in a nicer place!

Do not move here. They WILL raise your rent by 20% annually, making it impossible for this to be a long term home. It’s sad. Also, they cannot keep a staff. Everyone quits pretty fast. We haven’t had a full staff in a couple of years- and there are only 4 employees for the building. They must not pay well.

A high level of cleanliness is consistently maintained throughout the apartment complex, gym & amenity areas. Much appreciated!

You just cannot beat the location and views! We have the best rooftop views at the junction. Courteous neighbors, clean, well maintained building and a very nice place to live.

I love this building! From the location to the management, everything is absolutely top notch!

Its like living in an elegant resort. Every time I walk into the grand lobby, see the fireplace going and hear piano, jazz trio or other chill music, I feel my attitude adjusting. I never expected living in apartment to feel this good. For retirement, renting here beats owning. Goodbye to the risks and expenses that come with owning.

The property is very nice, but make sure the leasing team keeps their word about the fixes inside the units before moving in because thats the mistake I'm dealing with. I'm still waiting for things to be fixed inside my unit and I've already put in maintenance request to get them done, in which they should of had it completed prior to me moving in.

Ive lived at Oregon 42 for approximately two years. Its been a generally pleasant experience. Its a nice building with good management that responds quickly to concerns. The facilities/maintenance team is great. The only criticism I have is that they should be more competitive on the lease rates - considering the newer more modern properties in the same general location.

Very clean community and enviorment. Friendly staff and neighbors. Maintenance is prompt and pays attention to small details when completing a task. Everyone is very respectful and nice to one another. The Locals are so sweet and welcoming! Everything has been going great so far! Very pet friendly and is close to tons of shopping places, parks, views and more!

Oregon 42 is a great place to live. People are friendly, management responsive and polite, and the quality of the amenities are amazing.

Oregon42 is always clean and always feels safe. Ive loved living here and maintenance has taken care of any issues that have come up. The 24hr mail system is my favorite part, I don't know how Ill ever go back to an apartment that doesnt have secure parcel lockers.

Oregon 42 is a great place to call home! My apartment is cozy and quiet. The common areas, especially the rooftop, are gorgeous and perfect for entertaining friends or relaxing and enjoying the panoramic views. The management and maintenance staff are professional, friendly, and responsive.

Great apartment to live in. Management is amazing and super friendly and beautiful roof view. Also there are so many amenities. I feel like I dont have to leave the apartment if I dont want to.

We have the option of renting or buying a home for retirement. We are surprised about how much we like being renters at aOregon 42. We like tellng friends about how satisfied we are with our home choice.

If you move to Oregon 42, be advised that your rent will become to high to afford after your first rental renewal

Oregon 42 is a friendly place to live . Near restaurants, grocery stores, banks, movie theater, library. Most of these are within walking distance. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I really enjoy living in Oregon 42 and recommend it.

In general, a good place to live. Not excited about strangers getting into the building by waiting at the door to slip in as I come or go but, overall, a nice place to live. The front office staff are very accommodating and try hard to please the residents. Front office staff very nice and always follow through. I recommend this place!!!

I love living at Oregon 42. The apartments are beautiful, the building and shared spaces are very well maintained, and the rooftop deck is stunning. The location is so close to all great business by the Alaska Junction and a block away from the Farmers Market. Overall, it's such a great community!

I enjoy living in Oregon 42. I am very close to certain places I shop in.And others that are a little farther away. I also have friends from a previous apartment complex that moved here too. We even get together a!most weekly.

Its a really nice place. Of all the problems I stress about on a daily basis, housing/parking/mail/safety/cleanliness arent on the list. Also I feel like royalty when I take out my trash because the trash room actually smells good.

I have lived here without a car almost since the building opened. It is perfect for access to public transit and within easy walking to the Alaska Junction area in West Seattle: very good restaurants and wonderful specialty stores. Downtown Seattle and the stadiums are a short bus ride away. The apartments are comfortable, beautifully appointed (the photos on the Oregon42 website are quite accurate). Utilities, thanks to 'Green' building philosophy, are quite reasonable (washer/dryer combination in each apartment) and the rent is in line with those elsewhere in Seattle. But I saved the best for last. The view from the rooftop, offering Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains to the West and the downtown skyline to Mount Rainier to the east, is magnificent. It also includes gardening plots and grills for residents' use. I couldn't be happier!
