With ample parking, on-site laundry and a dog park for furry friends, Olive at Vernon is a place to call home. Public Transportation Commuting to and from Olive at Vernon is simple and convenient. The Tyler/Vernon Dart Rail is 0.8 miles away and there is a bus stop adjacent to the community. The area is perfect for any resident that would like to use a bicycle as a main form of transportation or those who want to exercise. The City of Dallas created a bike lane that extends along Tyler/Vernon Ave and connects to other streets in the area. The Local Area Wynnewood Village is across the street perfect for shopping, dining or exercise. The center includes Kroger, LA Fitness, Tops Café, El Rancho Super Mercado, Citi Trends, Chase Bank, Sherwin Williams, Cane’s, and several other quick serve restaurants. Wynnewood Village is going through a multi-phased revitalization and will soon be home to additional retail buildings, public spaces, and new freestanding shops and stores along Illinois Ave. Southern Gateway Park is currently being developed for the community of Oak Cliff by the community of Oak Cliff.
