The historic Old Town district, which served as inspiration for Disney's Main Street USA, preserves classic architecture and hosts cultural events at the Lincoln Center. Current rental rates show one-bedroom apartments averaging $1,563, two-bedroom units at $1,855, and four-bedroom apartments at $2,165.
The city's craft beer scene includes established breweries like New Belgium and Odell Brewing Company. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Horsetooth Reservoir and Horsetooth Mountain, where residents enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and water activities. Notable areas include the Avery Park neighborhood, Fossil Creek, and the southeast district near Front Range Village. The MAX Bus Rapid Transit system serves the Mason Corridor, connecting key parts of the city.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Old Town Flats
Bad management, bad neighbors, bad parking, bad fitness room, right next to a train that always blares at night, overpriced beyond belief. I cried tears of joy when I left in April 2021. Please go elsewhere, you’ll be happier
Horrible management, great location. Do not recommend even though it is in such a great spot. Management is the worst I have ever dealt with.
I go to CSU and I have lived here for over a year; the staff is kind and the other residents are very respectful. I live in a single bedroom apartment and its a bit expensive but well worth it. Quiet neighbors (aside from the train), friendly staff, close to campus, close to the bus stop, full trash service and cheep utility fees. The staff put on a lot of community events which is nice and often hold contents for nice prizes. I've personally never had to wait longer than 48 hours for a repair man if I had to place a work order and the staff is very attentive to their residents. One big bummer is the internet in the building can (at times) be ridiculously slow. It takes a while to stream things and doing online coursework can be difficult.
