Niche 905

The welcome meeting was really good. Lizette took me around the building, provided me all the necessary stuff and answered my hundreds of questions. The building almost feels like a neighborhood because almost every time you get in the elevator there will be a dog with you which automatically makes everyone more friendly. The amenities are nice and even the shared spaces are clean and well taken care of. The front desk workers are incredibly kind and willing to answer all your questions with a smile.

I’ve loved living at Niche 905! Management and building staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the community activities are always a nice way to connect with neighbors and learn about new local businesses!

I love niche 905! I use their gym everyday and I’m starting to see a difference. Their elevators work fast. The dog park is sensational! Everything in this building is so convenient and management has been so nice!

I’m impressed with the building! So new so clean and such a nice smell.! The gym is awesome. And yes the best part is coffee machine in the lobby

The concierge staff are wonderful and all the amenities are spotless! I would highly recommend living here and taking advantage of all they have to offer

love it here, niche is a great place to live with so many dogs and residents and there’s a pickleball court close by that’s convenient with restaurants. Would recommend.

When I moved to Niche 905 in 2022 - it was a great place to live. Awesome location, friendly / helpful management, great location, and well maintained. However (as you'll see in many other recent reviews) - new management has ruined what used to be an amazing building. They are rude, send messages of the same things breaking over and over again on a weekly basis, and don't take the time to interact with residents even in passing. When you visit neighboring buildings - the contrast in management is almost immediately evident. The door and maintenance staff are AMAZING however, it's a shame to leave those people at the expense of the management that has taken over - I am writing this review in hopes perspective tenants don't have to risk experiencing what I and others have in a city with so many great residential options.

Absolutely love living here, you truly get what you paid for. Amenities are kept up with and cleaned regularly, the pool and jacuzzi have a great view, there are plenty of spots on the rooftop to get some work done or socialize, maintenance does a wonderful job, and the apartment itself has a beautiful view and quality appliances

I love the neighborhood, area, amenities and the people here. It’s family friendly and the staff are amazing. Always greeted with a smile and willing to help.

I like it here. We have been here for 5 years and it’s been great. Our floor is on the quieter side which I feel very lucky about. The building is always kept pretty clean.

The move in process went super smoothly. I Had an issue on the first day and it was quickly resolved with quick and friendly staff. The neighbors are also friendly.

Only one day in and I love it so far!all the appliances are nice and up to date, shower pressure and bathtub is nice. Love the kitchen and bedroom space.

I've been at Niche 905 for 1 year now and it is my home. I love this building and the staff! It has been my favorite apartment since I moved to Chicago back in 2017.

The staff here has been great and very accommodating. The amenities are fantastic as you can see the lake and have great views of the city, especially at night. Love it so far!

Enjoying living hear so far. Quiet and easy accommodations. Walking distance to a lot of gyms. Coffee machine, gym and hot tub are great ammenities.

I Love living at Niche. I moved in almost a year ago and plan to stay here until I leave Chicago. The best apartment building I have lived in by far.

All I can say is that I wished I lived at the Niche 905 sooner! The apartments are well done and built in quality, the front desk staff are extremely nice as are all residents in the building. The building is clean and well kept up down to the beautiful flowers right outside the building. My home here at the Niche has quickly become my sanctuary. I couldn't recommend to live here enough.

I’ve had such great experience here. The people at the front desk are always more than happy to help. The maintenance guy was also super helpful and helped me with other questions I had about the building and the apartment.

We really love living here but unfortunately due to poor management we are unsure if we will be staying. Unorganized and unfriendly to say the least.

The staff has been fantastic to work with. I love the pet-friendly culture and amenities in this building! We moved in last week, and I can already tell it was the right decision.

At the moment my experience at Niche is that they have a Great team very supporting. Moving from abroad is never Easy and they try to make it the easier possible and support me with any issues or doubt.

Everything has been going well so far--it's been only a few weeks. Staff are friendly. They call you by name. Willing to help. Always smiling. Building is kept up--but always room for improvement. I love it so far.

Niche markets itself as a luxury apartment. It’s nothing but nice views. The train is loud, residents are rude, and staff are unprofessional. They don’t respond to your emails and instead FaceTime all day long. Unless the rent is a steal, find something else. The front windows have been shot up and not a safe place.

It's a great community and a small enough size that you can get to know your neighbors. The two elevators and somewhat removed location from the rest of River North are the only "downsides".

I've lived at Niche since Oct 2019 and I've enjoyed living here so far. Kendall is great and the maintenance staff have been amazing and they address all concerns in a timely way. However, I can't give 5 stars due to the fact that 1) the building only has two elevators and the wait times tend to be so long especially when one is being rented, and 2) the neighborhood isn't the greatest area and safety is a big concern.

Elevators definitely not adequate and are a huge inconvenience on the weekends when move outs/ins are in progress. Appliances fall short of a luxury apartment. Washer/Dryer are mediocre, range and oven are cheap, dishwasher is mediocre.

I'd love to live closer to my friends and family, but since Krystele and Kendall have treated me like friends and family, I would recommend them to anyone!

Niche feels like home. Everything Is perfect. The only unrealistic downside is the cost. The one bedrooms seem like they are priced for a couple. Very expensive for just one income

Amazing building, wish I could pick it up and move it more centrally in Old Town or River North. I originally thought the in-between area would be convenient but safety is always a top priority and friends in the area were concerned since they were not familiar with this location/building since it is so new still

I've been here 3 years and the neighborhood has not seen any further development in the immediate area. I'm very satisfied with the building itself and staff, including leasing office, maintenance, and front desk concierge.
