The largest city in New Jersey and the second biggest in the New York metro area, Newark has undergone an artistic and cultural renaissance in recent decades. A major international airport and shipping port, several institutions of higher learning, including two Rutgers campuses and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the headquarters of Prudential Financial, Panasonic, and PSEG all call Newark home, making it one of the busiest areas in the Garden State. With a melting pot of residents represented across the city's five distinct wards, Newark (which is Essex County's urban center) never fails to stimulate its residents with a diverse, urban landscape. Sitting just eight miles west of Manhattan, Newark allows its residents to easily commute to one of the world's most cosmopolitan destinations, which is just a short drive or train ride away.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Newark Urby
I used to love it here! But a new GM came in some months ago and has been dragging it to the ground ever since. And the building was rushed, power was knocked out because a rain storm and now the building is running on generators, on top of many other issues. I do not recommend.
I’ve lived here for about a year and i would suggest you read the most recent google reviews before moving… enough said. Terrible management, greedy company.
This building is located in a wonderful environment, lots of amenities room space is large, the bedroom with walk-in closets look wonderful and the fact that it’s gonna have parking and possibly a concierge. It’s icing on the cake. Antionette (Bennett)
They said they have only been opened for 2 months, the tour was very good. Amenities were impressive and the rent price is very fair compared to other buildings in the area. We were blown away by the gym and the fact that they're opening a restaurant in the building is a + I love how it's also 5 minutes away from Newark Penn Station Would recommend
The Urby name already carries great respect due to their other properties in Jersey City and Harrison. This building is no different. Although the building isn't finished for another month, I was already blown away by how nice everything looked during our short tour. The rent prices are definitely on the higher side for the area, but still sits below their average when compared to their other properties. After a short tour, I knew immediately that this is a place where I wanted to live.
I was trying to get info regarding this property for a week now! NOBODY responds to emails or calls!
