The pool is always closed. The apartments are not prepared properly for new incoming tenants. The management office is filled with rude employees who give zero effort. The play areas are nice, at least.

Mrs. Odile was very helpful and informative for me and my roommates. She was kind and made it a very easy decision to live here.
I'm a newly single mom who was looking for an apartment with enough space for two kids and myself at a decent price. I was blown away with what Monarch Meadows had to offer, Multiple big spacious parks for my kids to run, play, hills to sled, walking parks nearby, a swimming pool, and the inside of my apartment is beautifully upgraded with vaulted ceilings and so clean. Both Ada and Jenny were my leasing agents, I felt they were kind, empathetic and a pleasure to work with. I had one issue with my dryer not working but the maintenance staff Andrew and Skyler were there that same and got it fixed for me. I am very happy with where I live and every time I see a tour walk past I am sure to let them know.
The front office staff (New) are rude and will charge you anything they can find. (Trash) Thus, why it is easy and cheap to move in. The new management are going to treat you like another dollar, and raise your rent every year! Everyone is moving out of these small apartments. There plumbing have major problems and flood apartments frequently. There front office staff talks badly about other tenants. There decent workers have quite and or been let go. The children in the neighborhood run around littering and damaging property. Do not move in to these crappy apartments. The kindest people have moved out.
Since the new property MANAGEMENT company took over you have to pay outrageous prices for everything, the office personal are the worse I've ever been around. They have ran off some of the nicest people, if you can find a place other than this DO IT
The staff, specifically the woman at the front desk named, ADA and her service is horrible. We have been residents for a year. On our way to the pool from our apartment on August 4, 2018 my daughter lost our pool key. We stopped by the office and kindly told the front desk worker named ADA that we lost our pool key. She immediately stood up and said there is absolutely nothing she can do and her ONLY solution is that we have to retrace our steps to find our lost key. When I CALMLY asked how I can get a replacement key she talked over me and interrupted me and said “I don’t know, I think its like $45-$75 or something” and suggested I ask a neighbor to borrow their pool key. My 8 year old son is crying in his swim clothes because of the way she yelled at us and the tone she took over a simple situation. Absolutely unacceptable. I would have appreciated her making the appropriate steps to help me replace my pool key but instead she rolled her eyes at me and my children and told me everything that she could not do for us.
Literally the worst mgmt for a complex. Except for lidia, the staff is extremely rude and inept at thwir job.Literally zero security!(my neighbors had their car stolen and totalled) frequent police visits.I found a dead cat 20 yards from the playground. Random solicitations from multiple door to door salesmen (illegal per_Riverton city ordinances) The worst part about this place is there are apartments at the same rate with none of those issues in west jordan. Ie y here Not there=(Not pet friendly. This place have very adequate play space for children or dogs. Needs more doggy bag stations. But other than that..
I just signed my Third year lease. There were some issues with a vacated tenant. The staff let me know that I would have to re-qualify to rent(just doing their job). I was a little worried, but I did not need to!! The staff had my new lease agreement ready to go in a few very short hours!! They were all so kind and did their jobs in a professional yet very kind manner. I love Monarch Meadows because of the location; quiet community, yet only minutes from city life and entertainment. Having such a kind staff that does their job quickly and well is such a bonus!! You all ROCK!!
This place is so greedy! I got my dates mixed up and paid the morning after rent was due and I called to apologize and see if they could do anything and they didn't hesitate to tell me that I owe $100 in late fees!!!!I am so unbelievably frustrated right now because I made a mistake like every human being out there! The woman I spoke to was not sincere and laughed it off! That is an insane amount of money to pay for paying my rent the morning after it was due when I made a mistake and were never late on our rent! If I had an extra $100 lying around, I wouldn’t be living in an apartment! However, I did pay the $100 fee but I just wanted to let you know that it is not right to do that! I have lived in other apartment complexs and they offer a one-time courtesy waive of a late fee. Also, the walls are thin and I can hear my upstairs neighbors stomping around all day long and it is so annoying! I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment!
If you have bad credit or poor rental history, this is a good place to stay until you're back on your feet. No bugs, lots of police. They rendered patently false claims against us after we moved out and they have a reputation for doing this, so don't be surprised and prepare yourself. Gather information from a good cross-section of former tenants *in real life* (not online). Taking lots of pictures and having reputable contacts stop by as you move out is always a good habit that you'll thank yourself for later (as we did).
Our time at the complex was decent, but the move out deposit return wasn't even 1/10 of our original deposit. This minuscule return didn't even even cover the EXTREMELY minor damages (think scuffs on the countertop) that had occurred over our entire lease. After we let them know we were moving out there were fees for everything. Quite displeased.
Great Neighborhood, great playground and pool area. They plan many fun activities for the kids and families who live hete.
This apartment complex is a great location, but that is the only positive about it. The office staff is rude and the business run here is completely dishonest. Upon move in, the apartment had to be re-cleaned as did the carpets. Upon move out, they nickel and dime you for every little thing. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
