location: best in slu, right by the lake and close enough to the city. the lake view is awesome if in northward-facing unit (or from the rooftop) quality: generally solid, though some problems with the hvac, main lock, fridge, and misaligned balcony door. microwave also really sucks. thankfully, maintenance team is quick to resolve issues staff: very professional, responsive, and effective. occasional turnover, but all have been great to work with systems: modern! easy-to-use app and portal for things like rent, maintenance requests, or package notifications. unit doors use keyfob, which can be pretty handy noise: thick walls and windows, so generally very quiet (at least if facing north). periodic hallway noise odors: weird callout, but the ventilation in the unit can be bad. smells from cooking or whatever seem to linger, and sometimes get odors from other units depending on airflow security: pretty good, requires keyfob to enter and to go to specific floors. packages are put into lockers. there's on-call security service too parking: assigned spots (premium for non-compact), and has ev option. parking is painful if using car without modern sensors and cameras. the spaces are small and cramped, especially if fatass suv or sedans are adjacent. if a good non-compact space is open, it is worth it to pay the extra cash and reserve amenities: awesome rooftop deck, and mera also has bike/kayak storage and an adequate gym cost: $$$$

Mera is conveniently located in the office park of South Lake Union. There are many restaurants and bars that are within walking distance. Beautiful South Lake Union park is across the street. If you do not mind the loud traffic noise from Mercer Street that keeps you awake and tired, being harassed by homeless people in front of your apartment, and occasional grease leak into your valuables which does not get cleaned and of which damage not compensated after 6 weeks, you will enjoy living here. Staff is courteous albeit slow at addressing your need.

We have enjoyed our last 8 months at Mera. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, including maintenance and janitorial. Our apartment unit as well as the entire facility, is aesthetically pleasing with a great views and nicely designed interiors.

I was considering moving into Mera and had not toured the property yet. To block this particular apartment I reserved the apartment by paying the refundable fees of 300$. After touring the property I personally felt the particular apartment I was looking at was a bit cramped up and hence I decided to not move ahead with this apartment. The next morning I emailed the Mera team telling them the same and asked for my refund, the team notified me that I was 25 minutes late to apply for this refund and that they would not be able to refund this amount. This year has been a tough time for all of us and many apartments around the Seattle downtown area are relaxing refund rules, also many apartments are not even charging late fees for rents. I felt quite bit cheated when because of 25 minutes my refund was not returned. We all have to stick together in such times but the management chose to profit off of a small caveat. Beautiful amenities, location, quiet surroundings and right across from the lake! I love this building. Here is a piece of advice, get Gina to be your leasing agent. She is FANTASTIC!!! We love her. She is always so professional and has a great customer service. You know there are places where you feel like you are only an apartment number? Not here. It feels like Gina really cares about our needs. Also Kyle is another great part of the team. Both are our favorite people here. Overall, everyone here are very nice people, but Gina and Kyle seem to always give that extra attention that makes you feel right at home. We will sure miss this property whenever (and if) we leave.

Staff is excellent, very professional and always willing to help with everything I need. Location is fantastic and I like the amenities. However, I wish the owner of the building wouldve done more for us, the residents during this COVID times. The team did the best they could, but being honest, if we did not get discounts in rents and we havent gotten access to the amenities that we pay for, the least the owner could have done is to reduce the rent a bit for a while or at the very least to allow us to have free parking, as a way to compensate for us not being able to use any of the amenities. I get it, it was forbidden for our own protection, it we are still paying for it regardless. And even if they have been willing to help I. Some sort of way, not a single dime has been offered in order to help the residents. I am a landlord my self and I provided 20% discount to my renters because I felt these times called for some kind of empathy, and that is something I did not see here. This is just an observation, I still think this is a property worth living in and still love the commit and the staff. I will keep recommending the property to anyone I know. Also, one last thing. I have to say Gina has been a beacon of light in this entire situation. Not only she is always there for us but she has been 1000% professional and I really appreciate her job. Thank you.
