Not happy...moved into a dirty apartment that all the appliances were broken, and wasted a bunch of money, and now they "cant" let me move into a different unit that would suit me and my dog better even though I'm willing to pay whatever it takes.

I love the quiet and homey feel of my new apartment! The community is nice (I do wish there was a park for children though, after all, there is a dog park!) and the amenities are well maintained. There have been no issues with parking so far, and other residents I have encountered have seemed nice. It’s been a great first couple of weeks at McKinney Terrace!

1 Year ago when we moved in I would’ve recommended this place to everyone I knew, but now I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Often as new management comes in this tends to happen, rules get changed, managers switch out and the expectations you’ve grown accustomed to get tossed out the window. Finding parking at any given time of the day is impossible, The trash Valet can be inconsistent at best. And if something goes wrong in your apartment do not expect any urgency whatsoever to have it fixed. Over the past 3 Weeks my pregnant wife and I had an issue with our breaker that was causing it to trip instantly. Keep in mind this switch controlled the lights and power for our bedroom, bathroom, closet, and internet all while in July of a Texas summer. After putting in a request through the portal that apparently is never read and leaving multiple voicemails to the emergency maintenance line, only after calling the leasing office directly and speaking to Xavier the only person who seemed to be concerned with this, were they able to get someone out to work on it. And after a week of what they thought was “fixed” and leaving exposed wires for a light fixture in the bathroom out. The breaker began to trip again, once again uprooting my pregnant wife and I, as I would not leave her in a powerless, and internet-less apartment. After another week of unreturned calls, lack of communication, and extreme frustration of just not being able to live in your own home. After finally getting an electrician to come out and replace the entire panel (very obviously damage we would not of caused) I was then told I am still required to pay rent concerning the days our home wasn’t even habitable. Thank god there was family that had the space and the heart to take us in during this time because if not for them I don’t know what we would’ve done. So if you are looking for a home and have no options or concerns of safety then please stay here. If not find a different home!

My experience this far has been pretty great its peaceful i see other residents enjoying themselves they keep it clean

McKinney Terrace had truly been a welcoming place for us to call home, after downsizing from our house. The community feels safe. The grounds are maintained very well! I love all of the amenities the building offers, as well as the convenience of using them after hours. Kayla in the leasing office is Absolutely Amazing!!! She was so diligent during our move in process, she even helped us select a unit that was almost immaculate! My husband and I were running behind to sign the lease and get our keys, Kayla stayed over a little after business hours just to make sure we could move in on our arranged day. Even though she had her own bridal fitting to get to. The move-in process was seamless! The apartment we chose looks like a model! Overall I am absolutely thrilled that we chose this apartment! I can’t wait until the weather breaks consistently enough to use the resort style pool!!!

My experience from start to end has been poor. I came on when the property was just finishing construction. Nothing has worked...I can't list EVERYTHING that needs to be addressed. If ypu are thinking about moving here, I strongly recommend that you reconsider.

The Clubhouse has a very warm and cozy feel to it. The furniture is nice along with all the games to play. Multiple areas to set up a laptop and work is a very friendly environment.

We moved in last April the apartment is nice but you can hear everything from other apartments, doors slamming loud all the time, people playing music loud, you have to pay for trash pick up at your door and it is spotty at best, people do not pick up after their dogs, we have to pay $14.00 per month for amenities and part of that is for FREE ELECTRICITY for plug in cars why should everyone pay for them to charge their cars we do not get free gas. the worst thing is now the new owners have raised the rent so when it is time to renew we will be moving.
