There is nothing luxury left about this place, the location is under construction for next 2 years. Lived here for 1.5 years. Will never lease from CWS again. While living here the trash compactor didn’t get fixed for 4 months; hot tub was down all winter, all of the grills were down for 4 months. Windows are 20+ years old, foggy and not easy to use. The final straw, they are replacing appliances with the cheapest, and I mean section 8 housing cheap appliances. The people that work here do their best, but it’s the management practices of CWS that is the real issue. There are much better options now in this area.

We are disappointed to hear that your stay has not lived up to your expectations, however we find this review concerning as we have not heard any of these concerns from residents. Regarding your concern about our amenities, we did have to temporarily close the grills due to a company-wide directive, but they have since been reopened and are available for use. We have experienced intermittent issues with our spa, but it has never been closed for months at a time. Additionally, our appliance package is the same across all of our homes. The construction at the entrance of the property is a project by the City of Austin, of which we unfortunately have no control over and will continue until the project on 360 is completed. I loved living at the Marquis at Treetops. We had a private and gorgeous view at our apartment. Our 3 bedroom apartment was big enough for me, my husband, my newborn, and two cats. The staff is friendly and the neighborhood is usually quiet and calm. Residents are usually families and young professionals. I liked to take walks through the adjoining neighborhood mostly because of the views. Before we left last week, management was doing general exterior upkeep such as changing bulbs in streetlights, power washing patios and buildings, touching up chipped paint, etc. The apartment complex also takes an effort to make the Marquis feel like a community by providing activities throughout the month; past activities were gardening, cookouts, wine tasting, mimosa breakfast. I would recommend this apartment complex. The only reason why we left was because we moved to a new city. Pros: great location, staff, management Cons: Recycling bin is difficult to get to because of the hill, exiting on to Spicewood Springs Rd can be difficult sometimes, a long mailing address that occasionally causes lost packages
Marquis at the Treetops is an excellent place to live. The clubhouse staff is very attentive and work swiftly to resolve any issues you might be having. The maintenance staff is great as well. The apartments are updated with granite counter tops and new cabinets. The hillside/canyon views are top notch and hard to find anywhere else in Austin. I highly recommend living in this lovely, private community that is nestled away in the hill country of Austin, TX!
