Aside from its location, South Lake Union offers immense perks. Just take a trip to Lake Union Park for access to 12 acres of lakefront property with a boat launch, beautiful walkways, and the Museum of History & Industry, or experience of one its incredible local restaurants.

Property Ratings at Marlowe
First, I would like to thank Chris and Ty for the fantastic experience of moving into my Marlowe apartment! Since my first visit to the available apartments, Ty patiently showed me every detail of their amenities (and pros/cons). He also offered to revisit the apartment after applying to take some measures and find the best setup for me. It was a small gesture, but it greatly impacted how I could settle into the apartment in a week. In summary, respect and empathy are Ty's greatest strengths, which convinced me to be part of Marlowe's community. During the moving process, Chris was another great person that I met. He was always kind and proactive in guiding me on the next steps (while respecting other residents) and offering equipment (e.g., carts) to take things from point A to B smartly. Without Chris, I don't believe I could settle here as peacefully as I did. More recently, living in this building, these two professionals are helping solve minor apartment adjustments (e.g., appliance repairs) in a matter of a few hours. Being part of a new community also demands learning about your neighborhood. They recommended several activities around Marlowe apartments, including outdoor activities and restaurants. If you join our community, the Public Local Eatery restaurant should be on your checklist.

My overall experience so far has been pretty nice. My unit is quiet for the most part and other residents stay to themselves. However, I do wish I chose another unit on a higher floor and one that has some direct sunlight!

Love to hear that you have had a nice experience. Come talk to the leasing office and we are happy to assist you in moving to a higher floor! Best, Marlowe Team
Stay away from Marlowe apartment. It has the worst noise insulation I have ever experienced. You should expect all kinds of noise from your neighbors and the gym if your unit is nearby. I get awakened at 6 am by someone dropping weights on the gym ground multiple times a week. A few times, a dog from my neighbor had been barking for at least 4 hours until 2 am. I can hear all those kinds of noise clearly right from my bedroom. I had lived in 2 apartment buildings in Seattle, 2.5 years in another building and about 1 month in Marlowe. Don’t be fooled by its building age and the good-looking appliances and amenities. You will walk into your biggest regret.

My leasing and move in process was very easy and the hat add always let me know I could reach out to them at any time. I really like how the apartment doors are inside compared to outside like standard apartments. The apartment building is very secure as well which makes me feel safe as a woman. Rent is a little pricey but well worth it! I highly recommend!
