We called last minute and schedule an appointment and Courtney was so friendly and so welcoming! When we got there she made us feel right at home and answered any questions that we had. Really took her time to show us the property and just had so much information. She also told us about a sister property nearby if we didn't find what we were looking for at Willow Creek. I lived there in 2019-2020. Had a nice time there til the mice came & ate anything in sight & this was on the second floor. Maintenance didn’t (probably couldn’t) do much. It was horrible in the end.

Yes that’s right there was a shootout right outside my balcony!! Not sure why these ppl weren’t vetted as much as we were before allowing to rent. The gates were locked OPEN the whole week before the incident. The police roped off the whole corner of my building for hours. We were told it was a drug deal. We tried to get out of our lease because we do not feel safe but the MAA management will not allow it!!! Do not rent here!!! If i could give it no stars I would.

It is by far the best community I have ever lived in. Every time a maintenance order was placed for small things like an air filter change or any other minimal things( I did not have any major issues) I had it would be taken care of the same day. The office and maintenance employees are very attentive and nice and it is a very safe and quiet community. The gates are always closed and if they have any issues the gate is fixed within the next day. I only moved because I wanted a 2 bedroom and I have a budget. Their 2 beds were just over my budget! Overall very happy with my experience.

It is clean but overpriced. A lot of unnecessary fees made mandatory on top of rent and paying for parking is a must of you want somewhere reasonably close!

These apartments have been a nightmare and I’ve only lived her 5 months. Rhonda the leasing office manager.... pathetic joke of management. She’s rude does not care about her tenants at all. People come from all over to use the amenities that are very accessible to outsiders. Do not think that because you live behind a gate stops them or the fact that you pay an insane amount to live here will protect you. We have called the police on several occasions when there has been 30 people in the pool area that do not live here trashing the property throwing balls into our windows and walls. We have seen a man literally LIVE inside the gym and the onsite security officer even confirmed this. We have seen them walk from other complex’s to ours to use the grill and pool. You have an extra 120 dollars added on to your bill outside of your water and sewer charges. If they mess up on their end in accounting you have to pay for it! And most off all no parking at all. I have three kids!!! I have to clear walk across and entire apartment just to get to mine. We parked in handicap the night we came home from the hospital from having our child only to have it towed 4 hrs later costing us $300. Can’t wait to get out of this place. Don’t waste your time.

Do no rent here. During the last cold spell there were four "leaks" in the apartment complex. One of which collapsed a ceiling and looked like a waterfall coming off the third balcony. When I moved into my apartment the master bedroom door would not latch. I submitted a work order and they "fixed" it by gluing 5 strikeplates together. The door latches, but it still does not touch the actual door frame and does nothing to block light or sound. The staff does not respond to complaints. Myself and others have voiced concern/complaints aboutno one picking up the dog feces. They stated they would take care of the problem, and the problem has gotten worse. They leave the dog fecal matter in the middle of the front sidewalk. The price is cheaper than some others in the area, but it is not worth it. Make sure the apartment complex takes care of their residents. This apartment complex does not do that.

I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE! There is no FREE parking spots available during the week after 8 p.m. and no spots open after 10p.m. if you're lucky there may be a open spot outside of the Security Gate at the entrance. There are no less then 25 apartments for rent every month due to people trying to get out. Your rent will be jacked up atleast another $120 a month after the first year!!! A little 650 square foot apartment with all the extras will cost you over $900!!! Add internet to the basic cable and you're paying another $100 . Doors and windows are so cheap you can hear people coming and going as if you have them wide open. In the winter due to poorly insulated windows and doors my electric bill was as high as $200 with the furnace only turning off briefly and turning back on again. The hallways are trashed due to valet service tracking garbage up and down the halls and stairs, never power-washed ever. You will NEVER see a community event newsletter or bulletin because they do not do anything but take your money. I'd give this place 1 star but I want it to be seen so you have fair warning. I live on the opposite side facing away from Highway 121 towards the parking lot and unless I blast my T.V. I hear traffic as if it's right outside my door. You have been warned...

I absolutely love my apartment the quality that I get to the rent that I pay is substantial, what I pay for rent is so much less than the quality of the apartment that I get. You are treated like you're apart of a family and you can tell how genuine the staff is. I do not plan on leaving anytime soon.
Colonial Village at Willow Creek...it looks nice, and is very roomy. Nice little pool. But, the parking is absolutely ridiculous. You don't get a parking spot with the apartment you have to pay 35 dollars per spot. And the people that work here don't mention it at all. And the free parking is always full so loved ones can never visit. So it's very stressful if you don't pay for a parking spot. And even when you want to by a spot there are all sold out, or none are close to your apartment. So it's a waste of money. Most of the workers in the office are always rude. They almost never answer the phone during business hours. And the maintenance workers don't know how to fix an air conditioner. I would never suggest this apartment to anyone. Spend your money on a better apartment that is not a joke.
Ive been a resident at Colonial Village at Willow Creek for a little over a year now and could not be more dissatisfied! The rate you think you will be paying for your apartment is not the rate you will actually be charged for... nope add an extra $120 on top of your already fluctuating water. They add this ridiculous fee for your "online portal".. giving you access to pay your rent online, and make maintenance request easily. But what if you wanted to save the $120 dollars a month (it might not seem like a lot but multiply that by 13 and you got yourself $1560 you could have saved yourself) and pay your rent through a check/money order at the office..? NOPE. They do not accept that form of payment. I have debated breaking my lease due to this, how rude the staff are in the office, and the fact that I'm convinced that a bear lives above me (which the office has done nothing about, even though I have brought it to their attention on numerous occasions). Needless to say I will not be renewing my lease with them again. I have been apartment searching for awhile now and every complex I have gone to I have asked if they charge a "portal fee" and that the rate they are giving me is the rate I will pay prior to trash/water/pest control... they assured me that it was that and nothing more.. When I began to tell them why I asked most of the new complexes I was looking at couldn't believe that it was even legal for a complex to do that! When I have brought of my concerns with the office staff in the past, and that breaking my lease seemed like a much better gig they tried to sell me on the idea to move to another one of their properties.. hahhaha never again will I live at an MAAC property AGAIN!
My husband and I have an upgraded version of the apartment. It is beautiful. The apartment office staff are professional and attentive. The maintenance team are very quick and often times can fix same or next day depending on the importance of the repair. The grounds are kept clean and I love having our trash picked up at our apartment door! The only downfall would be parking can sometimes be an issue. I would recommend paying for a covered spot.
It's a really great apartment! I like the area and the scenery and the people are great to work with! They can just be a little expensive and being a college student living on his own makes it a little difficult but other than that it's great! :)
This is a great place to live. They have several cute floor plans and I was able to move into the exact apartment they showed me when I checked them out. I feel safe. The only noise I hear is that of the highway nearby because my building happens to be close to it. I've never had an issue with neighbors. Everyone seems friendly and the apartment complex is well maintained. Major perk - valet trash. As long as you get home in time to set your trash outside your door by 8pm, you are good to go. Drawback - parking. This is the only negative thing you will hear from residents. Parking is horrible. There are not enough "free" (uncovered) spots for residents who don't want to cough up an additional $40/month for a covered spot or $50/month for a garage. I wish they had enough spots to assign parking. That way you are guaranteed a spot no matter what. As it stands, good luck finding a spot after 7pm.
Who rates their apartment with 5 stars? Only those blessed to live here. The units are fantastic and the office staff on point, I put in a request for maintenance and their knocking on the door before I hang up the phone, Who could live without trash pickup?
