The opportunities here are endless if you are willing. The location is perfect. The beaches and wildlife are stunning. Plenty of space and easily accessible to shopping. The community is diverse. We really do have it all here.

I grew up in Venice Fl, graduated from Venice Senior High then went to University of Central Florida. My parents still live full-time in Venice. It is a great family friendly community, with wonderful beaches.

The beach is really nice. I liked growing up here but there's a lot of bigotry but I think they're getting a bit better since I left. Unfortunately everything has gotten very expensive.

Lived in Englewood and Venice areas for 12 years. Beautiful place, nice beaches very safe. BUT teens will be bored and unless you are a senior or a bar person you will end up very lonely. I moved to Bradenton Sarasota area a year ago and I will say there is a HUGE difference in diversity things to do and the friendly factor is way better in that area. Busier yes, more diverse yes. But the friendliness is amazing in Sarasota and Bradenton, Anna Maria Island. I go to Venice Englewood a couple x a week and it always reminds me why I don't ever want to live there again. No one even says hello. Besides nothing to do for teens, it's just a lonely place. Beautiful and safe yes. But for me friendliness is way more important
