The city of Trotwood is approximately 10 miles outside of Dayton, located in Montgomery County. Residents are served by the Trotwood-Madison City School District and enjoy the attributes of a small town not far from urban amenities. Trotwood’s landscape is largely farmlands and country-sides. In town, East Main Street is lined with a selection of dine-in and takeout restaurants, as well as banks, food markets, and the neighborhood YMCA.
Moss Creek Golf Club is in the northern vicinity; Meadowbrook at Clayton golf course and Miami Valley Golf Club are nearby, just a short drive outside of Trotwood. Wolf Creek, a tributary of the Miami River, flows through the city and is a favorite fishing spot for local fisherman. At Sycamore State Park, hiking trails, horseback riding, campsites, and seasonal sports facilities offer locals and visitors outdoor fun on more than 2,300 acres of land.
