Located in the suburbs of Fort Worth, the city of Kenndale is about 11 miles southeast of Fort Worth and 33 miles southwest of Dallas, making it a great town for commuters. Interstate 20 borders the north end of town, so Interstate access is a breeze. Across from Interstate 20, locals enjoy visiting Lake Arlington for boasting, fishing, and the lakeside jogging and biking path. This peaceful country side has a small town feel with plenty of outdoor and community amenities.
Check out the 22 acres of urban park at Sonora Park, offering wooded nature trails, athletic fields, a playground, and a disc golf course. Kennedale High School is a top-notch public school in the district, and nearby you’ll find the Kennedale Performing Arts Center. Though Kennedale doesn’t offer many shopping and dining options, there are plenty of choices just outside of town traveling north along Little School Road.
