The park is located in the heart of the neighborhood and features a hiking trail along a stream that allows residents to escape the bustle of city life without actually leaving the area. Those who rent an apartment along Onondaga Road can walk the local shopping center looking for great deals. Then after, grab some grub at Tully’s Good Times sports bar and grill. Locals also like to spend an evening at CopperTop Tavern. The downtown area lies just six miles to the east, offering residents the chance to take in a show at the Landmark Theatre. Café Kubal makes an excellent cup of coffee, and many locals convene at Onondaga Lake for boating, swimming, and hiking.

It's a quiet neighborhood usually, there are many convenience stores around and great options for public transport. My biggest gripe with the area though is that I can don't really feel safe walking around outside past 8 PM. I've already caught glimpses of not so legal activity going on past that time, and I'm not in the business of tangling myself up with it.
