I've lived in Eastlake for 30 years and while the area has evolved it's maintained a great community feel. Tops K-8 school is great and the neighborhood community council is active. The best part, we're so close to downtown...my commute to work is <2 miles.

Sleepy area, mom and pop stores, easy proximity to other stores via freeway.

I think this is a great area to live. I feel like the cost of living doesn't match up with the minimum wage of the city though.
