Being part of East Houston has stopped me from many opportunities. Apart from a long commute time to go to Downtown Houston, the schools in the area are horrible, and there's not much to do there.

very easy and close to downtown so easy to deal with traffic and there's always a great food places to try out over here.

Burglaries often happen and the area isn't the safest to be around at night, but the Northeast Police Department is very familiar and concerned about the community.

My family and I moved here with the help of Habitat for Humanity, which helps first-time homeowners obtain a house for less in return of community service. We did our 500 hrs. of service between my whole family and very good friends, and I can say that we earned the house. Unfortunately, Habitat for Humanity stopped listening to our complains and concerns. Now, HOA owns us and we can't even treat the house that we pay for like it's ours. So no, I would not live here again if I had the choice.
