Eagle Mills is a quiet rural community that rests five miles east of Troy. The town’s location in eastern New York State countryside makes for a verdant, pastoral setting complete with rolling hills, sprawling lots, and an overall laid-back atmosphere. Renters enjoy acres of land and affordable single-family homes, but closer to Troy you’ll find more traditional apartments in a variety of styles.
There isn’t much in the way of cuisine or entertainment in Eagle Mills, and aside from a few antique stores there isn’t much shopping either. Most residents head into Troy or east to Brunswick to take care of errands or enjoy a night out, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet in the natural beauty of New York State without being too far from the city, Eagle Mills is a great place to start.
