Right near the border of Illinois and India, Dyer is a rural, family-oriented town. The town has great schools, making it a great place to raise children. Dyer is well known in the region for its fun-fill festivals. The annual Fall Family Fest features a s’more making station, giant Legos, potato sack races, bounce houses, and Southpaw, the Chicago White Sox mascot.
