The police are visible and I hear them all the time going back and forth, so hopefully they're doing their job. I do feel safe walking around during the day, though not so much at night, I have found some sketchy people lurking around sometimes. Otherwise it's pretty safe. The people are generally really nice and are more like family people in the neighbor.
