Named for the French term for “beautiful view,” Bellevue is a picturesque suburb situated just south of Omaha. Bellevue’s tree-lined avenues, gentle hills, and easy access to the Missouri River grant the city a park-like feel, with ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. Officially incorporated in 1855, Bellevue is the oldest continuous town in the state of Nebraska.
