Playgrounds, piers, botanical gardens, baseball fields, basketball courts, and walking trails line the shore!
With subway and bus stations situated around town, getting from one neighborhood to the next is no biggie! Hop on Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge to access Staten Island, or make your way seven miles northeast to Downtown Brooklyn, or just six miles further to reach Midtown Manhattan!

This is a walkable neighborhood with plenty of public transportation options. Pretty much any business you might need is nearby. Neighbors are friendly and diverse and help each other out. Beautiful parks are nearby including Shore Road Park with a beautiful view of the Narrows and Manhattan.

Safe neighborhood, the bad thing is that is just one subway line (R train) and sometimes on weekends it is a nightmare

Cool place to live. Lots of attractions and restaurants throughout the neighborhood. Clearly lives up to its reputation and spot as one of the top 10 safest places in New York.
