Bordering the university’s main campus, Baseline Sub is home to the University of Colorado Boulder East Campus. The university dominated the northeastern corner of the neighborhood, giving the area a youthful, park-like vibe. Staying true to Boulder culture of sustainability, Baseline Sub has several parks, bike corridors, and while trails that weave through the Boulder Flatirons are less than 15 minutes away. There are multiple large shopping plazas, restaurants, and breweries directly north of Baseline Sub, so residents have plenty of amenities close to home. For more variety, especially with nightlife and entertainment, many residents head to University Hill and Downtown Boulder, which are both about two miles away. Although Boulder is known to have upscale properties, there are more affordable options available as well. When searching for your next rental, you’ll find houses, apartments, condos, and townhomes.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Lodge Boulder
We lived here last fall and had decided to move out of here because it wasn’t the best. There are lots of potholes in the parking lot, which is unassigned but you pay $50 for it. We had mold/mildew and no one said anything. Our neighbors were super noisy and we contacted the office but they didn’t do anything. It was very dusty even though we cleaned several times a week. The dryer and dishwasher were half sized and the dryer would constantly quit working. The lights are very dim and there isn’t even a light in the living room. One of my packages was stolen because they just put the packages on the floor for anyone to take. The cabinets had paint coming off of them. There’s no pantry. The rent was way too expensive for what we got, but that’s Boulder.
Due to an emergency situation I had to move out of town and have been paying rent for the last 9 months because they have been unable to find anyone else. I understand that it's within the contract but I see it as greed. Also charged random miscellaneous fees to my account and when I contacted them they claimed it was an accident.
This has been the worst apartment experience of my life. It is an extremely hot summer and they would not replace our broken air conditioning for a month.. Said I needed to keep submitting maintenance requests and it will "hopefully" get done. It is extremely expensive for what you get: no parking spot, no central AC, small/hot bedrooms. Be prepared to buy and use fans constantly, as there are no ceiling fans. Also, if you want to park in the parking lot, it is $50/month. Stay away from this place.... management is awful and gets nothing done. Can't stress it enough.
The place is small for one bedroom, but fairly cheap for Boulder. Overall the place isn't bad, if it wasn't for the giant Bush filled with rats at the building next door, with the rap constantly running into the street getting run over, there are a lot of dead rats around
Cons - Noise is a constant issue here (bass, arguments, people being generally loud) - The plumbing is very dated, shower temperature is always fluctuating from freezing cold to scorching hot, and everything in between. - Didn't like roommate (not a fault with the apartment, entirely irrelevant to this review) - Wiring and electrical is also dated. After moving in, I immediately replaced every outlet in the apartment as they were old enough to be considered a definite potential fire hazard. - If someone stays with you for more than a night, they'll likely end up with a tow notice on their car. The notice was smartly designed so as to leave behind a sticky, resilient residue on your window for you to battle with over the ensuing month.
