Union Chapel Hill

I have lived at Union for 3 three years and it has been a great experience. I love the gym and the pool and that I can walk to campus. It’s a great apartment and maintenance is always super fast.

Living at Union has been the best time of my life! From the amenities, furnished apartments, and friendly staff, my experience has been easy and relaxing. With the warm weather, I am excited to start using the pool again!

I recently toured Union Chapel Hill while on the hunt for the perfect spot for my daughter, who’s a freshman at UNC. Let me tell you, this place is a gem! The shuttle service to campus and the walking distance to both the campus and downtown area are like a parent’s dream come true. No more sleepless nights worrying about weekend outings! The sauna, pool, and 24-hour gym are awesome! And my wallet is doing a happy dance because all the furniture is included. Chloe was an absolute superstar and gave me so much info. We’re so excited to submit our application!

Living at Union has been amazing as a UNC student! The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, especially McKenzie! It is a beautiful property with many amenities - a pool, gym, courtyard, study room, and more. The apartment itself is very nice and spacious. Union also has a shuttle that takes students to campus. I would highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I stopped by for a tour and Emily was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. The Union is at the top of our list for places for our son to live while attending UNC.

My time living at Union has been great! I really like the apartments and amenities they offer. They come fully furnished so it’s nice not having to buy all that furniture. The office staff is always quick to help if I ever have a question, especially McKenzie! She’s so sweet and easy to talk to!

I have lived at Union for 2 years and i LOVE the gym. It’s so nice because it’s open 24/7 and has all the machines that I could need during a workout! it’s also so nice that we sauna and a stair master. It’s great to just walk across to building one for the gym and not have to go all the way to campus

I have lived at union for a few lease terms now and I really love the shuttle because it works perfect with my schedule and gets me to class really fast. It’s also nice in the summer when it’s really hot and when it’s raining! Staff is great!

I have lived at Union for three years with the same roommates. Union makes it easy to renew and gives us enough time to decide before starting to lease to the public which I appreciate. I look forward to staying here another year!

I have always enjoyed my experiences with the leasing office. I have been helped by Emily H a lot and she is quick to find me answers, greet me with a cheery smile, and chat about my day. She is the greatest!

Have been living at Union for two years and overall a great experience. The people at the front desk are always friendly and helpful, especially Chloe. The pool and gym are great amenities to have and maintenance requests are responded to very promptly.

I stopped by to take a tour at Union and really liked everything they had to offer. The 24/7 coffee bar is a big plus since I like to stay up late. I had my tour given to me by Chloe and was greeted with a friendly smile and great attitude!

I am in my second year here at Union and I have loved every second of it! I never got to live on campus due to Covid, so living at Union has given me a grown up experience similar to that! I get to be a part of a community while also enjoying an extremely nice place to live with great amenities! The office staff is also super helpful and friendly! I recommend Union to everyone who needs a place to stay in the area!

Union might be a little pricey, but with an at all times self service for coffee and water, 24/7 gym and sauna, shuttle that runs to and from campus, and a luxury room, Union has it all. The staff is super welcoming and has activities to improve resident life all month long!

The towing at Union has become a for profit event (it absolutely ridiculous ) The towing service is towing delivery drivers ,parents dropping of supplies for tenants ( for what tenants pay in rent this is absurd) even going as far as towing a tenant who had the appropriate sticker and parked in the appropriate location and while towing the tenants car was in an accident damaging said tenants vehicle. The office refuses to intervene and Management will not return your calls no matter what the issue is your calling about. Management is Horrible at this location Also you will not get your deposit back no matter what they will find a reason to keep it .

Everyone at Union has been more than friendly and there is always something to do between all of the different amenities they offer. The office staff and maintenance team are all really helpful too.

Union is a really great and new apartment complex. They made the application process last year very easy for us and since my daughter has been living there we have not had any issues. The amenities are very helpful especially the shuttle. We love union !

I really liked living in the Union, the people working there are crazy sweet and really helpful with any questions I have, from the receptionist to the maintenance people.

They've got all the amenities here! I really enjoy the rooftop terrace. Their floorplans are spacious with in unit washer/dryer and private bathrooms and closets. Plus, the front desk staff is great at helping with any issues. They are helpful and kind. Would highly recommend!

I toured Union Apartments with my daughter, who is a student at Chapel Hill. Not only were we impressed by how nice and clean the apartments were, we were impressed at how nice and welcoming the staff was. We spoke to Sydney at the front desk and she was able to give us a tour. She was very friendly, easy to talk to, answered all of our questions, and was just a pleasure to meet!

I've had several issues with the Management this apartment They refuse to speak with you .You have to go back further with the associates relaying messages the managers Will Not speak directly to you and the issues have been major issues Granted the associates are always kind its a Manage to a dress all concerns if you DO NOT want that responsibility DO NOT BE A MANAGER. Very unprofessional. Plus the mail/packages go missing daily as well.

I lived at Union over the last year. While the apartments themselves were clean (as it should, since it was newly built at the time), it gets extremely dusty, even with air filters changed and windows open. Furnishings are ok, but the mattress was of extremely poor quality -- I had to change it out for one of my own. The community wasn't bad at first, but it would often smell like weed and smoke in the hallways in the latter half of the year. People would also host very loud parties at night. I personally didn't mind these issues that much, but I would also hear a lot of screaming and running in the middle of the night up to 4am with people banging on doors in the hallways. This would occur at least 2-3 nights a week in the latter half of the school year, and interrupted my sleep schedule often. There was often trash and various fluids in the hallways that wouldn't get cleaned for weeks. Overall, the staff is nice. However, I’ve had a very negative experience with management over recent issues, who has just been COMPLETELY unresponsive to my emails and follow-ups. For example, a month ago, the gate to the parking garage unexpectedly closed in on my car as I was leaving, crushing into the side of my car and causing $2,500 in damages to the body of the car and passenger door. I was directed by staff to reach out to manager Ian for next steps, who refused to respond to my concerns. When I tried to meet him in person (had to visit the office multiple times in the week to even catch him), he claimed he would respond within the day, but up until now, I have still not received an answer, despite following up over email again and again. I’ve also reached out to him over other issues besides. Never received a response to this date, even on issues as simple as being unable to access the rewards portal. If you ever have a serious issue that requires involvement of management, I would expect to be ghosted and highly disappointed.

I’m glad my friends told me about Union. Currently live here now and renewed for next year. No complaints so far.

This place is "pet friendly" but the undergrads around here that party all the time and are extremely loud just break glass bottles all over the property making people fear their pets will step on broken glass. There's trash all around the property with beer cans and broken glass in the grass and on the side walks. This place was also poorly built with cheap appliances. If you want to live in place that is rarely quiet and where the staff doesn't care about your complaints, this is definitely the place to live. I've lived in multiple apartment complexes and I've never lived in such a poorly managed and built apartment complex like this before. This place is overpriced for what you get.

I highly recommend Union if you are looking for a place to live. The amenities are so nice, it feels like you are living in a resort. All the apartments are modern and full furnished, I was very happy to see how clean it was at move-in. The staff is extremely helpful, I've spoken with Emily multiple times and she was great. I would definitely look into living here!

Union is great, I love how close it is to campus and the private shuttle is super convenient. The prices are great for a fully furnished apartment and amenities! The staff are friendly and Kaleigh at the front desk is always willing to go above and beyond for the residents!

Recently visited the complex to aid in my apartment search. I was amazed at just how friendly the staff was. One member in particular, Morgan, went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered and needs were met, and really made the experience worth while. Apt has amazing amenities, endless study and quiet places and one of the largest and nicest pools and gyms that I have ever seen in an apt n.Very excited to move in ASAP!

I have had amazing experiences with the staff at the union, especially with Morgan. They are all truly amazing people and very welcoming, which is certainly a plus with me living so far from home!

I love living at Union Chapel Hill! The furniture and appliances that come with my apartment make it well worth the rent. The maintenance and office staff are always super helpful and kind to me with whatever I need. The office staff person I see the most is Morgan and she always has a smile on her face and is ready to help! The amenities are well kept and there are always resident events and giveaways that are super cool! I love living here and am so glad I renewed my lease!!

The worst apartment building I have ever lived in. The staff is rude and your car will get towed even if you have the correct decals and everything. The rooms are made with cheap materials and the walls are paper-thin.

I come to Union all the time to visit my friends. It is such a nice community, everything is brand new and very clean. I always get excited to visit and use all the nice amenities! Definitely a great place.

This community is absolutely great. The staff is overwhelmingly helpful with any issues you may have. The location and quality of the apartments for the price could not be better. This is really the place to live if you are looking for a community of people in college during these times.

Union is so clean and beautiful. I visited recently and it feels just like a resort! The staff was very nice and answered any questions that I had. I would love to come again!
