Great living here! super sweet front desk people and very response maintenance people. Only con is the paint on the walls literally couldn't be any cheaper. You can't even use a command strip or anything without it taking off all the paint and sometimes more.

Everyone is super nice and always says hello from the front desk to the maintenance team to residents in the elevator. Picking up packages has been super simple and all my maintenance requests have been handled in less than 24 hours. Have been enjoying my time so far

Great experience living here so far! the staff has been amazing and the front desk people are always so nice and helpful. There is a lot of traffic noise in our area and there is always a lot of cops especially on the weekends. It would be great if the building could say something to the city about the constant vehicles breaking noise level ordinances. It truly takes away from an otherwise perfect experience in the community.

Nice apartment, clean building and friendly people at front desk. It's a bit loud due to outside noise. Apartment tends to get really cold at night forcing me to turn the heat up really high.

J Linea has been one of the best living experiences I’ve had in Washington DC! The staff are friendly and kind, and the 24/7 concierge staff is great for deliveries or any needs I have even at odd hours of the night. Problems are not handle properly handled by leasing office when addressed. There's always, (we're look into it) But it's never getting done. Lack of security, Problems with rear of building not being addressed, when mentioned. No safety concerns. No policing.

The apartment space is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The amenities are worth the look and are very convenient. The windows allow for very little noise and the neighbors make it feel like a real community.

After a bumpy start, I’d recommend JLinea. The units are high quality and the maintained staff is excellent. The leasing staff has gotten better and the area is growing as well. The neighborhood is very loud as you are right by 9:30 club. It’s better if you plan to be out on a Saturday night as well!

You get what you paid for! That includes great neighborhood with nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and easy access to a metro station. Amenities are also really solid, with the rec center being a lifesaver on days where taking a walk around the neighborhood is made unappealing by bad weather.

J.Linea is a pretty good apartment. You get a great unit, kitchen, year round heat/AC control, in-unit laundry, and great maintenance staff. The negatives are the neighborhood is super noisy and about once a year there’s significant policy activity on 7th/Florida.

J. Linea is a great place to live! The management team is always hosting building events to have tenants get to know each other, and the facilities (gym, mail room, rooftop) are always very clean. Sometimes I'd appreciate it if the concierge staff were a bit friendlier with greetings and helping us grab our packages, though overall it's been a great experience.

My time here as a resident has been sweet. The staff is very nice and friendly. I love the amenities and get quite a good use out of them. The location is central so it’s easy to commute via the metro or bus if need be. The apartments are also walking distance to plenty of nightlife and restaurants!

A overall good building as far as the apartments, but the neighborhood is very loud on the weekends. Management can sometimes be unnecessarily difficult. They overcharge for everything. Parking is not included. The price isn't worth it. There are better buildings in DC.
Great building! Staff is super friendly and the amenities are all clean. Service request are approved fast. Moving in was a breeze and loading dock was secure.

It was very smooth moving without any issues.. Staff was very helpful. Building is clean and feel safe. 24 hour front desk help. Free parking in front of building.

Love my apartment but crime is too much and the management staff here is not professional at all. Office staff make you feel like you doing them a favor by staying here and they watch residents as if they are expecting you to do wrong. I pay too much for my place to be watched. Won’t renew lease.

I’ve been at J. Linea for over a year and it’s been a great place to call home. I’ve had close to no issues and if something came up, it was dealt with immediately. The building personnel are fantastic-super friendly and helpful. If the answer isn’t known they figure out for you on the spot. Glad I made the decision to live here

The amenities and building are very new and clean! I moved out of a studio in Adams Morgan into a one-bedroom here at J. Linea, and it's been a great experience. The concierge are all very sweet and welcoming, as well as the leasing managers. Highly recommend for anyone considering the Shaw area.

Could have had a better onboarding. I believe there was some transition in the leasing office so grace is needed. But I didn’t know my parking spot or mailbox number. Having a hard time getting someone from the leasing office to call me back. Needed more information. That said, the place is great and everyone is super friendly. Just some kinks to work out.

Management was not very helpful or accommodating during the lease signing process. They were slow to answer questions but quick to demand a response to their own requests. Units are nice, but lots of sound from the street comes through the windows - definitely cut some corners there during construction. Location is good; it is close to a metro and lots of shops and food. Overall, I’d look for something else at this price points.
