Property Ratings at Lexington Heights
My friend and I shared a two bedroom, two bath. Everything was great/tolerable, until we sent in our notice to move. Our AC kept going out in the bedroom - seems like they just 'fix' a broken one and then replace it with that. The toilet was constantly running in one bathroom and the vent went out. Our dryer started a fire - set our smoke detector off - maintenance said it was normal. 2 months before we were supposed to move out, they scheduled people to tour our apartment with a 24 hour notice each time. My roommate and I work opposite shifts of each other. They WERE NOT accommodating to our schedules tour the end of our lease. I work overnights at a hospital; they would schedule tours while I was trying to sleep. We also felt uncomfortable with STRANGERS touring our home that we lived in (we voiced our concerns). They said they needed to be able to rent the unit out right away - 2 months before we move out. I don't think anyone signed until our last day. It was insanity. Management became very rude. When we went to turn in our keys - the lady didn't even know we were moving out. I don't recommend living here unless you're going to stay forever, they'll make it hell if you want to leave.

I am a fan!! My two bedroom has two bathrooms plus washer and dryer. The hallways are cleaned daily, and I love that there is a trash shoot right down the hall from me! I am always greeted by a friendly face when I go to the Rental Office to grab a package, or when I call with something I need. I am very happy here! The area is peaceful. I don't really hear any noise from other tenants. Convenient to may shopping and eating locations.
Me and my family moved here last October, I really like the area is safe. Location wise is perfect everything u need is about no more then 10min away and the schools are great! I really enjoy living here so we decided to stay.

This is definitely a great place to call home! Just signed a lease for a second year. We have a two bedroom, two bath apartment with laundry facilities right in our apartment, which I absolutely love! The apartment is extremely spacious with plenty of storage. We have a beautiful updated kitchen with a very large dining area. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of room for all our furniture. Love sitting out on our very spacious balcony with spectacular views! The staff is first-class. They are always so friendly and extremely helpful. Absolutely love living here!
I have been living here for a bit over a year now. The building is pretty peaceful- no loud parties, music or quarreling neighbors. Cleaning staff keep the halls and grounds spotless, and the maintenance staff promptly fixed a problem in my unit. Sometimes there can be an "older building" musk but overall this is a pleasant place to be. Underground parking in the winter is a great bonus.
My husband I have lived here for a little over two years and it is a very nice apartment complex. The staff are both friendly and responsive, and the property is always well kept. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a HUGE plus and each floor plan offers ample closet space. In addition, having underground heated parking has been very convenient. The only two downfalls are (1) One side of each unit faces 35-E and the freeway noise can be a bit loud; and (2) they do not allow any pets. The area is filled with great walking/running paths so it would be awesome if they allowed small dogs. Otherwise, living here has been great and we've never encountered any issues whatsoever.
I have lived at Lexington Heights for about 2 years now and I just love the space! I lived at a place before this that did not have the closet space that I have here and it was so frausterating. Now I have room for all of my kitchen gadgets and extra storage for my holiday decorations etc. in the closets. I also love having a washer and dryer inside my house and I have rented the party room a few times as well and have gotten compliments from my guests about how nice it was. I will definitely recommend Lexington Heights to my friends!
The staff was very helpful during our move in process. We have a one bedroom renovated unit which features an upgraded kitchen. That is a big plus. Laundry in unit is a great feature as well. The community is quiet and offers some nice amenities. Location is very quiet and safe. If you prefer living in a city, look elsewhere. Though downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis aren't too far. Overall, the units are as advertised.
I have been living at Lexington Heights Apartments since last November and have had such a good experience! The office staff is super helpful and Patty is just great! The maintenance crew is always on the ball too and takes care of any issue I have within a day or two. The grounds always look so well kept and the pool/bbq area is just great! This is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in and I would highly recommend it. The only complaint I have is the noise from 35E but that is due to the location on my apartment. I plan on renewing my lease and will just see if there is a different location that doesn't face the interstate!
I have only been living here for a week now but I am very pleased so far. The staff was extremely polite and helpful when I requested information and a tour, as well as with filling out applications and paperwork. The building is in good repair. My appartment was freshly painted and supplied with new carpeting before I moved in and the hallways and entryways were redone as well. The heated garage stall is $40 additional charge but well worth the price especially living in MN. I would definately recommend this community for those looking for a clean quiet place to live.
