Unfortunately, it has hit the legacy of Cedar Hill. We are working effortlessly with the Cedar Hill Police Department to ensure that the legacy is a safe place to live. We ask that as a resident if you see something, please report it to us or the police as soon as possible we have to work together to keep our community safe and crime free . None of the "coming soon' features have actually been added. Those amenities have been listed as "coming soon" since the Morgan properties acquisition in Feb of 2021. If there is a fitness center, please tell me where it is. If it's located in the front office (which is never open) how is someone supposed to access the fitness center? Maintenance is not even worth mentioning. Rent is as high as an apt in North Dallas. I cannot wait to move!

The smart lock system was installed in October , the new pool furniture and cornhole game table have been here since last year , the new gym furniture is here as well . I don't want to give any stars to this community. I lived there for 14 months and my experience was terrible. Their maintenance service was poor especially during COVID times last year. When we submitted a maintenance request, the maintenance guy came after 3-4 months to fix the issue. We saw garbage everywhere in the complex. The worst part was during the winter storm. My apartment was completely flooded and the carpet was damaged. They didn't repair the apartment for an entire month. We got frustrated and moved out of the apartment. They charged us for the damages to the carpet which was not our fault. There was no water during the winter storm. Even after that, we didn't have a water supply in March 2021 for 4 days and they didn't even inform us of such a water cut. Management is rude and unprofessional. We left the apartment on March 29th, 2021 and we handed over keys to them but still, they charged us for the keys. Our lease ended in March 2021 but they never removed us from their system till July 2021 when we told them that we already left your community in March. They already leased our apartment in April 2021 but they still charged us the late fees of July months rent. Such is the unprofessional and careless management they have….. Even new management charged us for house key which we already returned to the main office after moving. They have a lack of communication. They don't answer your phone. Don’t move to this place…..

I moved here January if 2021. It was a different owner then but they were attentive to my concerns. Under the new ownership, strides are being made to continue to make this community a wonderful place to live. I watch as improvements are being made in my building and around me. I appreciate the management, the management team, maintenance manager, and maintenance team and all their combined and collective efforts in making The Legacy at Cedar Hill a place I can call home.

It’s the most unprofessional complex I’ve ever resided in. Maintenance work orders are being closed without the work being completed. My kitchen sink water leak started out small when I entered the work request almost two months ago. Now the water leak has grown so big because we still have to wash dishes that the water spills over the containers we have to collect the water and has ruined the cabinets. I’ve gone to the office, called and placed several work orders just for them to say they are giving the wo to the maintenance supervisor and the issue still persists. I put a work order in for our dishwasher 3 months ago and maintenance said they were ordering a new one. Today I still dnt have a dishwasher. Very poor management.

ROACHES. Had to get city involved before anything was rectified. Unprofessional and uncaring office staff. Poor upkeep of property. No correspondence with management company. Loud! Noisy neighbors, notified ofc and nothing was done. Old. Horrible property.
My family and I have been here over 12 years and yes we have seen many things while here but the current management is the BEST. Everyone is made to feel welcome and we are all neighbors!!
What ever you do don’t move here , bad office staff, very rude. They hire a towing coming that breaks into your vehicle still and tow your vehicle .Maintenance crew come in your apartment stayed they fix something , when you have not requested. The garage is small , office lie say it’s real big. These apartments are very horrible . A lot of break -ins . What ever you do don’t move to the Legacy of Cedar Hill. I would not request a stray dog or homeless person to move here . Don’t do it , and if you already live there GET OUT NOW !
# 1 issue - office staff is MIA, if you call no one will answer and if you leave a voice message do not expect to receive a call back. #2 - maintenance is terrible we have black mold growing on the windows and all the Did was spray kilts on it. #3- bugs. We only eat in the kitchen and yet we are dealing with bugs #4 - by far the most alive place to live. It is always noisy. We heard a lot of bad things about this place, but we moved in because it was the only place that had the square footage we needed. But I have lived in many apartments and this is by far the worst one and the most expensive one. My advise do not move here
Four days and counting without AC in July Texas weather is unacceptable. People die in this heat!! Called management multiple times, left voicemail with resident emergency contact line, and visited the front office... nothing. I pay rent, fix the AC!! Legacy at Cedar Hill just doesn't care. Period. I've filed complaints with the following agencies: 1) Apartment Association of Greater Dallas 2) Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs 3) City of Cedar Hill City Manager 4) Better Business Bureau of Dallas
Recently moved into the apartment! Management was so nice. Had a problem with the one of the cabinets in the kitchen and maintenance came right away to fix it.
From the moment we found Legacy at Cedar Hill, its been a great experience. Looking for a new place is not easy but they definitely made the process easier. The office staff remained professional and allowed us to see some of their apartments which looked 1000x better than where we previously staying. They were so well groomed and didnt show any signs of damage. The complex was quiet but and clean, something you won't see in every community you go into. I was happy with my decision to go with Legacy of Cedar Hill and I know you will too. Highly recommended
I leased an apartment online on February 15th. I spoke with the Leasing agent and informed her that I wanted to move in on March 4th. She approved the move in date. I asked her when could I come and see the actual and she told me that the apt wouldn't be ready until Feb 28th. On Feb 28th I called back and the apartment still wasn't ready. On February 29th the Leasing Agent informed me that I was approved with a double deposit. I already paid $400 and agreed to pay the rest at move in and she said that was fine. In March 3 I called the property and asked was the apartment ready to view and they said yes. I drove 45 minutes to view the apartment, but when I got there it was STILL not ready to view. The Manager said that she would let me know when it was ready, I was very upset. The next day the Leasing Agnt called ONE DAY BEFORE move in and told me that the Manager denied my file due to a current address discrepancy on my application. I was very confused because they'd already informed me that I was approved. The agent informed me that I would get my deposit back in 14 days. It has now been 24 days and I have not received my $400 deposit. I asked to speak with the Regional Manager. Dean, the Regional was disgustingly rude to me. He said that he didn't want to hear any of my problems and that I need to call corporate. He would even listen to my concerns. As of today I still haven't received my deposit. Please don't lease here. I'm a property manager and I know that you do not treat clients this way
I love the community. The office makes working with them easy from start to finish. Neighborhood is very clean and quite. Depending on where your unit is you may need a car port but there is plenty of parking. Units are very well sized and laid out. Great access to 67, about 5 minutes to the shopping center. A growing city and these apartments are perfectly placed.
I currently live here and overall this is a nice place to live, the staff has always been helpful and pleasant. Maintenance is kept up, our AC broke temporarily and was fixed within 1 day. The pool is cleaned regularly which is nice. The only slight complaint I would have is the noise of cars blasting music while they drive in/out but that does not have much to do with the staff. They are a bit pricey but it's a nice place to live.
I currently rent from Legacy of Cedar Hill and have had a pleasant experience so far. I have leave in the same apt complex for approximately 4-5 years, I moved here originally and was in a 3 bedroom and the downgraded to a 2 bedroom. since We have ben lining in this area myself and the boys really feel safe. the rooms are spacious and the apartment itself I really like.
These apartments are poorly maintained. Getting maintenance requests taken care of is very slow and when it does get done, the quality of the work leaves much to be desired. The only good thing about this place is that they do make sure the entrance look well manicured.
Love staying here its very quiet and nice...At the moment i stay with my mom.
The apartment community is nice for the younger couple with children.
I first move to these apt approx. 2010,Originally I leave in 3 bdrm with my son and my Mom,then downside to a two bedroom my experience at the apt has been beauty amazing. I have e joyed the stay.Only concern is the amount they go up on the rent for renewal.
I love the location these apartments. Its in a quiet area surrounded by schools and a multitude of shopping centers. Its very quiet inside the apartment area. The staff is very professional and respectful to your needs. It is very family friendly.
It's clean, quiet, the staff is awesome. The pool is great.
Lived here for like 3 years. The rooms are big and the apartment is comfortable. Management is nice and will work with you. Also, in a great area (mall is close & lots of places to eat).
