Legacy Apartments

This has been a welcoming place to live since I arrived 6 months ago. After looking at several apartment buildings in the area, I decided on this place because of the very friendly and helpful property manager, Judy. They are very responsive to any requests for work that might need to be done and the property (inside and outside) is kept immaculate.

The location is perfect, safe, quiet and convenient

Judy has been amazing with helping us find the perfect apartment and making it feel like a home. So far, we have had the best experience. There is so much room for our little one to run and grow. All of our neighbors are so very kind and welcoming. We are very happy with choosing Legacy Apartments.

Legacy Apartments in Verona Wisconsin are a great place to live. You can't go wrong with a McKenzie property always well built, great amenities, and staff are top notch!

Lizzy is nothing but wonderful to deal with. When I moved in she was a great help and continues to be very helpful! This is the one and only place I found in the outer Madison area that allowed me to do a flexible lease! Even though the buildings are pet friendly, you cannot hear barking and carrying on. The whole facility is very clean and peaceful! Everyone is very respectful of each other and nice. The amenities are great! Overall, excellent place to live!

Legacy has been great for us from the very beginning. I got a new job and needed to be moved in and ready to start in a month. Coming from the east coast I needed to find something solely online and taking a chance. Lizzy was awesome to work with! She sent me pictures of the 1 bedroom unit that was available and answered all my questions! We have loved living at Legacy; it’s quiet, well constructed, maintenance is fast, and our dog is happy in her environment too! It’s in a great location close enough to everything, but also away enough to have some quiet. I highly recommend living here!

My husband and I moved into legacy apartments three years ago when our building first opened and we love it so much! It’s such a great apartment to live in and You can tell they truly care about the residents who live here. With having a large dog we absolutely love the front door entrance on first floor! They also have great amenities that we use often. We can’t say enough great things about Lizzy, she’s the best! Whenever we have had a problem or question I email Lizzy and get such a fast response. Maintenance is great and fast as well! I don’t have a single complaint. We will be staying here until we buy a house, I will be sad to leave when that day comes.

"a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to your needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day. The workout rooms are great and are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the elevator and underground parking garage. . I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with a dog park and trails.

We are staying here from more than 2 years. Legacy apartment is very spacious with good amenities. Large bedrooms and walk-in closets. Property manager is approachable and resolve the issues quickly. Clubhouse is modern and great to arrange events.

Legacy is by far the best apartment complex I’ve lived in! The apartments are spacious and modern with lots of natural light. They offer great amenities and are pet friendly, which can be hard to find. The management here is amazing and maintenance requests are always dealt with right away. I would definitely recommend living here!

I absolutely love living at Legacy! Management is fantastic and maintenance always gets to my requests within the day! The atmosphere here is great and the pool is such a wonderful place in the summer! I have had no issues here and plan to stay here a very long time! Live at Legacy!!!

I have lived an an awesome apartment at Legacy for 3 years. The floor plan gives me so much space. The amenities are wonderful. I rarely have to wait for equipment at the gym, and there has always been room at the pool for me and a friend. I love having people over and entertaining them in the apartment. I love that they allow dogs and that everyone cleans up after themselves outside. There is a nice path around the water drainage area that is nicely landscaped and enjoyable to hang out at. Garage parking! And so much storage and just space in general in the apartment itself, it's great. Anytime I need help with something in the apartment, Dave is there right away. So simple to enter a maintenance request with Lizzy and they take care of it right away. Light bulb changes were never so easy! If you're looking for a great place that is full of the convenience of being nearby Madison and also has everything you need in one place, this is it!

My fiance and I just signed our 3rd year lease at Legacy. Our apartment is roomy and modern, and there is plenty of room for both of us as well as my dog. Finding a higher end complex that allows large dogs isn't always easy, but Legacy has been a perfect fit! The gym is convenient and the pool is a great asset in the summer months. I never have any issues with my maintenance requests or any questions/concerns I have. The property manager is great. The location is perfect- right by the beltline, 20 minutes to downtown, and all the shopping necessities right nearby. I highly recommend Legacy!

I moved to Legacy a couple years ago into a 2 bedroom loft unit. The units trim, cabinetry, wood floor, and paint job give off a cozy feeling as you walk into the front door. The downstairs bedroom has an enormous window for natural lighting (not to mention the massive walk-in closet) the bathrooms amenities are top notch. But the most important thing to me about my experience here thus far is how great the management is. The apartment manager Lizzy is extremely polite, professional, and welcoming. I’ve had a few maintenance requests and the apartment manager had them taken care of extremely fast. The maintenance guys are kind, clean, and personable. My emails are responded to almost immediately. 100/100 would recommend any time any day. Cheers.

I recently moved to Madison after accepting a job straight out of college. I've never lived in an apartment and from the beginning I was very skeptical- just about wanting more space. I've also recently added a 4 legged friend to my life and I was also worried for space especially for a pup. After moving in, all those skeptical thoughts were gone. The bedrooms are so spacious and so are the closets! The lay out gives me and my pup enough room and much more. Perfect location from Downtown Middleton. Gives you the Downtown feel with the country. Just perfect!

We have lived in a studio apartment for 8 months, and let me say it has been a good experience for the most part, but the second we send any sort of maintenance request they don't get a response or anything done to them. Our carpet has been messed up since the day we moved in and nothing has been done after several requests, and the management is pretty lack luster. My girlfriend had fallen on the ice and instead of offering any sort of assistance she told us where the dang salt was. The company they hire for snow removal gets a 0 star review. Ever since we haven't renewed our lease our apartment has been shown 9 times, and they are always past the hours that the property manager says she is there... Weird right? Don't even get me started on the kitchen, 3 feet of space and it didn't look like that increased in any of the larger models. There is dog poop everywhere and the clubhouse is never available. I would say for a starter luxury end apartment it's nice, the apartments are just to cheaply made for the price they charge the renter.

I have not lived in an apartment for 19 years. My husband and I recently separated, so I was on the hunt for a place. I felt Legacy Apartments was a good fit based on floor plans, amenities, location, and budget. So far the staff have been nothing short of exceptional, and my experience has been extremely positive. My building is located near the dog park, and I enjoy watching all of the dogs playing when I come and go. I did initially have some concerns about how sound might travel between apartments. My concern was unnecessary. While I can generally hear dogs barking as I walk down the hall, I have never once heard a dog, or any neighbor noise while in my unit. I'm looking forward to the summer months and being able to hang out at the pool with my daughter. The club house is great as well! All in all, I've been exceptionally pleased with Legacy Apartments.

My husband and I moved here in 2017 soon after we got married. Best choice ever! Everything and everywhere is always clean and quiet. If you have an issue in your home it will get fixed right away. The management is very friendly and always updating everyone on upcoming events or changes. We love living here. Never a complaint from me!!!

Love living here, the amenities are awesome and even include an infrared sauna ! Dog friendly and easy walking around the property which also has a dog park! The pool is amazing and there are several charcoal grilling areas. The office and maintenance staff are great and the people are all very friendly. Great place to live !

Easily the best place I've lived at around Madison. The complex is filled mostly with young professionals and everyone I've met is very nice and respectful. Management is quick and fantastic to work with, and you can pay rent online which is a huge bonus for me. The complex has Fiber Internet available! Outside the apartment complex, the surrounding area is perfect for dogs. Lots of routes I can walk my dog and the area is only expanding (google maps is not up to date, there's a lot more here). I will definitely be extending my lease in a few months. Highly recommended.

Legacy apartments are beautiful, updated, and located in an upcoming, quiet area near Blackhawk church. My boyfriend and I have lived here for over 2 years. We enjoy the high ceilings, wood floors, open concept, updated kitchen and laundry in the apartment. We love the outdoor pool and grill area and take advantage of the workout room and sauna! The neighbors are friendly and quiet. Underground parking is available too. It’s convenient being a mile or so from Target and other stores and restaurants. Would highly recommend!!

I've lived at Legacy for almost two years and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to live! After living near downtown and dealing with sketchy landlords I wanted to move to quiet, spacious, safe, home with awesome management and Legacy is just that! The apartments are super well-maintained and the management company is always extremely responsive to any question or concern. The pool and workout facilities are topnotch and I love how safe it feels. Definitely check out the Legacy apartments if you want a luxury apartment with all the amenities.

My family and I have been here for a year & a half and our experience has been truly amazing! The space its self is well worth the rent, but add in all the amenities and great neighbors and it's a windfall. Lizzy the property manager is great at her job, but also a really nice person. All the little nice things about living here really add up to make this a great place to live!

I love living here. I just did another year lease and they will come in and clean my carpets, do any touch up painting or any repairs that need to be done. In all the apartments where I had lived, they have NEVER offered to do any such thing!!! Arika, the property manager, is AWESOME! She is so knowledgeable and so willing to help you out with any issues. They have a great pool area and several grilling areas. They have a party every year for their residents! They know how to treat you right!!!!

I loved living at Legacy Apartments! The clubhouse is beautiful and the outdoor pool is unbeatable. Everything is always clean and the custodial staff are very nice. The workout facilitates are top-notch and make working out fun! I also really enjoyed having access to free printing and coffee in the lobby area; great for students of any age and professionals alike. The entire staff is extremely kind and approachable, willing to hear concerns and they respond in a very timely fashion. My maintenance requests were usually taken care of within 24 hours during the week days! If it wasn't for my job I would have loved to stay at Legacy Apartments! It truly is one of the best apartments in Madison. If you are hesitant to say yes to the Legacy experience stop hesitating and go for it! You won't regret it.

Our decision to move to Legacy after selling our home was a no brainer! Great Location, practical and functional floor plans to choose from, great and professional staff. We lived in a first floor two bedroom with porch over two years. Loved the front porch for watching beautiful sunsets and peacefulness. Near the city but away from the noise. Great facilities, clubhouse and beautiful landscaped grounds for daily walks. Pet friendly and great play area for romping and playing. If you are looking for a place to call home, look no farther, great price point for any budget. McKenzie Properties and The Legacy will not disappoint. If we moved back to Madison, our first stop would be The Legacy!!!

I had not lived in an apartment since college so I was unsure if it would be a good experience. We totally enjoyed it! The apartment was new, spacious, quiet and well layed out! The grounds were well landscaped and the clubhouse and workout facilities we outstanding. All of the occupants were respectful and friendly. Having a dog park in view was good entertainment and obviously a big hit with the residents as it also served as a social gathering area. The McKenzie staff were on task and very caring of our needs. I felt they sincerely wanted everyone to be happy and to have a good experience. We would definitely highly recommend a McKenzie apartment.

I've truly enjoyed my time at Legacy Apartments. The apartments are modern and spacious. Windows are large, walls are painted in a warm neutral color (not stark white) and my living room is oversized and my bedroom very large. The community is also fabulous and extremely dog friendly. There are many amenities, including two great exercise rooms, a sauna, an amazing outdoor pool area with multiple gas grills and flat panel televisions, so many walking paths and grassy areas, charcoal grills and patios with soft seating outside each building and a pretty impressive dog "park". My neighbors have been friendly and the management is attentive. I have nothing but positive things to say about The Legacy and McKenzie Properties!

I moved into Legacy two years ago primarily because of its location to my job, and because I wanted something on the west side of Madison. Its very close to many restaurants and shopping. I also love that its set just outside of the busy Madison area and isn't affected by a lot of traffic. Its peaceful and quiet which is something else I was wanting. My dog enjoys the on-site dog park and its great to meet so many other dog owners there! The neighbors and the management team have been awesome.

I absolutely love living at Legacy! It's in the perfect price point, has fantastic amenities, and is BRAND NEW! You get a lot of bang for your buck living here! I also love how it is so close to everything on Madison's West Side, yet still in a nice quiet neighborhood. The management is super friendly and responds immediately to any questions or requests. I'm super happy with my decision to live at Legacy Apartments!
