I've had the misfortune of living here for nearly a year. I signed a 15 month lease after a tour that seemed decent, and was excited. I finally moved in and my unit had broken glass in it, and all of the ethernet outlets did not work. I had to ask management to fix this for about a month before anyone did anything. They were trying to tell me that I had to pay a contractor to do it myself because they were not responsible for the outlets in the unit actually working, and nobody on their maintenance team could do it. Before long, someone moved in above me and I got to experience the result of the investment company who made this place thinking insulation is just a needless expense. You will hear every footstep the person above you makes. If they blast music, you will hear it. If you complain to management they will do literally nothing. They say that these noise levels (which i have recorded in excess of 95db) are to be expected, and they won't address them during business hours. If you call after hours, when they say they enforce quiet hours, nobody picks up and they don't act on it, even if you have recordings of the noise. If you are lucky enough to not have a noisy neighbor, you will have to deal with the fire alarms going off on average 2-6 times a month, depending on the month. If noise is not an issue for you, the hallways always smell like rotting garbage because people leave trash out every day, even when there is not valet pickup.

Living in this apartment complex has been nothing short of a nightmare. The false fire alarms go off way too often, usually around 4 AM, leaving everyone frustrated and exhausted. And it's not just a one-time thing – it's happened multiple times in less than a year. Dealing with pests is another huge headache. Roaches seem to be everywhere, not just in my unit but in every corner of the building, as other residents have also complained. And spotting a rat in the hallway just adds to the stress. Despite the high rent, the management's attitude is incredibly disappointing. The office staff are rude and show no empathy towards residents' concerns. It's like they don't care about the inconvenience we're going through. The thought of enduring another false alarm or dealing with more pests is just too much. If you're looking for a place to live where you're treated with respect and your peace of mind is valued, this isn't it.

worst experience ever! staff is so rude and the manager lies! when i moved in there was a huge stain on the bathroom tub most of the cabinets are cracked .. water stinks along with dishwasher , hallways are always smelly and have stains all over .. packages get stolen !!!! the staff is so negligent to care!! ugh so many more bs ! they charge you almost $30 for trash that sits decomposing for two days in a row at least! no valet trash there's a shoot that gets filled so quickly and easily from amount of trash from apartments .. do not move!! its expensive and you will definitely not get your moneys worth!

I liked this place initially and wanted to like this place. Its close proximity to the graduate school I attend, 2 major highways, and views. All the rooms are hardwired for internet. Monthly pest control, food trucks on the weekend, 3 pools. Unfortunately the actual resident community is trash. The walls are thin, trash keeps being left outside some doors, if the trash chute is full then people just throw their trash into the chute room and leave it literally piling up and making the garage start to stink. The indoor hallways that are not on the 1st floor are unsealed/uncoated concrete that usually smells of pet urine or trash. Because it's rough concrete the poor cleaning lady can't do much with her mop. It just adds fabuloso scent to the mix. There is no security measures at all inside the parking garage. Some residents always leave the "secure" entrance doors propped open allowing randoms to enter. There are no security cameras in the mailroom, garage, entrance areas. sometime on the evening of my birthday (Nov 1) someone smashed a window into my vehicle to rummage around. I would not be surprised if it were an actual resident that committed it. a lot of other reviews will mention that the fire alarms will go off at least 3 times a month at the most inconvenient, either due to someone pulling them or an "unknown malfunction". This is true. The packages you order off amazon... Though this may not be immediately the building's fault, but be ready to have your amazon packages left in the open on the floor in the mailroom (which the door is unlocked to the public from 8a-8p). some delivery drivers are too lazy to navigate the 2 huge buildings that they have dumped resident packages right on the floor. The lakeside lofts buildings does not have a secure amazon locker like the other resident complexes on our street. If they do deliver it to your door, be prepared for the small chance that someone will steal your package right off your doormat. (I installed a ring doorbell camera after this happened twice in a month right after I moved in around December 2021) The walls of the bedrooms are not sound insulated and you can hear your neighbors conversations (or other "activities") clearly. Our new neighbors like to have screaming and slapping matches which is lovely. We're pretty close to calling FBPD to report domestic abuse since it sounds like it sometimes.
Walls are super thin you could hear your neighbors baby cry and every step the people above you take. The hallways are disgusting with bugs and dog urine.

I had moved to Dallas in early 2021, and this has been my home ever since. All staff members are equally friendly and supportive. The place is clean and well maintained. Summers here are great with regular activities in the common areas and the swimming pools. The community is safer than most other residential areas with very few reported incidents. The beautiful sunset views of the lake make it are just a cherry on top. A great place to live!

Awesome, friendly staff. They know you by 1st name basis. Super secure and safe property. You can't beat living and parking on the same floor. Super wide hallways. Hands down the best place to live in the area for the dollar amount. No bugs either.
