I’ve been a resident of 4 years here & honestly it’s one of the best properties with the most friendly management ever!

I love it here at Lakeside Apartments. The management is very nice and the property is clean. I feel safe on property and its pets friendly.

Do not move here!!! Our first apartment had no working ac, causing us to use portable ac units. One night, 3 raccoons broke into my sons nursery by ripping the screen on the window and pushing in the portable ac unit. I had to sit outside with my 2 year old for 6 hours waiting for animal control, the "after hour maintaince" was no where to be found. We then paid a large transfer fee to move to a unit with working ac before the summer came back around (couldn't risk raccoons breaking in again). The new unit REAKED of cigarette smell, that caused us be feel lethargic and had us coughing constantly. They had someone clean the vents (he said it had thick black soot lining all the vent ducts and sticky yellow residue dripping down the vent which he recognized to be massive amount of build up from someone smoking in the unit) but the smell seeps out the walls and never went a way, mind you we have a young child and this could affect his health for the rest of his life. Then, construction starts next to us and they use harsh chemicals to strip the bathtub and that is coming through our vents. Being concerned, I look to see what the smell is and all the construction people are wearing gas masks, while my family and I are left to sit in it. When calling the office they said to open the windows, our windows don't have any mesh screens on them so that would just have our home with multiple open accesses. They did nothing for us. This construcuton also led to roaches fleeing that unit and infesting ours. THEN, we had 2 occasions of a homeless individual come unto our private patio and go through our things. Where this patio is located it shares a glass window with the room that my son sleeps in. After bringing all of this to them and asking to break the lease without any fees, they say these are not grounds to break your lease. These are unsafe apartments to live in with the third hand smoke, chemical vapors, no working ac, raccoons breaking in, infestation of roaches, and homeless people roaming the complex. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

Lots of amenities inside & out of the complex ! Right off the highway so all your destinations are easy to get to . Specs , Dave & busters are in walking distance ! Office staff is helpful and on top of all maintenance work that need to be done

There are so many things to do on site. Makes you want to never leave your home (gym, pool, lake, dog park) not only have I loved living here but so do my fur babies. The staff and the neighbors are so kind as well.

The lakeside staff are very professional and handle all request in a timely manner. Apartment complex is clean and pleasing to the eye. The apartments is located in a good area and a lot of restaurants within walking distance

My husband and I relocated to a lakeside apartment from New York recently, and I have to say that it has been an exceptional experience for us, especially considering the long distance move and paperwork involved. Erica, one of the managers at the lakeside leasing office, has been incredibly supportive, working closely with us, warmly welcoming us and assisting in making our move as seamless as possible. We are grateful for her efforts in reducing the stress of our move. Needless to say, we are thoroughly enjoying our apartment - it is clean, spacious, and the surroundings are wonderful. We appreciate the peace and tranquility of the area while still being close to the city of Dallas. We highly recommend it

The place is amazing. If you have a problem and let maintenance know about it within a day they come check it out and fix it. Plus that lake side view is 10/10. Wish I had more stars for this place.

I'm a new resident & I was referred by my daughter who was already a resident. I love how spacious my unit is and the layout of my apt. It's a beautiful apt inside and I like how friendly the staff has been so far.

Apartment was still filthy and dirty when I moved in. I had to put in multiple orders for management to clean before they finally got around to cleaning. Management allows Squatters to come and go as they please, with no regards to noise levels and uncleanliness.

I have lived here for a decade now and there have been many managers to come and go. The new manager and staff are very friendly people, especially Cindy. She is a professional young lady who takes her job seriously and cares about the residents. Thank you so much for helping me solve problems that arise with my place. I simply ask nicely and maintenance is always quick to help. Also, I think it is important for all residents complaining about wildlife to instead show nature respect as this world is their home just as much as it is ours. Thank you again! -Lorena Roman

Apartment's smell like smoke, almost every car is damaged due to poor driving, items were stolen off of patio

If it were possible to give negative stars..... I have been here a number of year's and they have had a management change. New management have pushed many of the long term tenants to leaving - steep rent increases - horrible response times for repairs. I am still waiting 5months later for a repair. - car break ins - mail break-ins - ridiculous changes to visitor parking rules. Visitors can get towed even if they park in visitor parking - maintained crew disrepsecting peoples homes - won't even clean the rugs for you - surprise fees added to rent - mold - rats, and other pests - people don't pick up after their pets and management does nothing about it.. Not even cleaning it. - ground level apartments have known to get flooded when it rains - other apartment flood, prop due to poor maintenance This list goes on and on. Friendly neighbors (most of them), Beautiful and convenient location and apartment size and layouts are great, but def not worth it. At all! Saga continues (update) Short version. After giving notice multiple times (via their online service and in response to an email they sent) and moving out, they are billing me for a month saying I did not give notice. To paraphrase 'the methods you used go someplace else" mind you these methods do not say "do not reply", and are the same methods they use to service apartments, bill us and communicate issues with us but it is deemed not a valid form of communication!!!!!! I am not the first person they have done this to and I am sure I will not be the last. It seems to be a tactic they use in an attempt to keep deposit, and punish people for moving out. I can tell you stories of an apartments flooding, apartments going days without hot water, management being rude and dismissive... but I will simply say, Save yourself a headache. Move elsewhere! They are great when courting you but once you in... But don't take my word for it. Look at the other reviews. Problems from a year ago are still problems. Look at the leasing office's response, copy/paste but unresolved. They could proactively find the tenants and fix the problem? Nope When you see changes in reviews it's nearly always to the negative (I have not seen otherwise). The bad is consistent, leasing office does not care. The lack of care for tenants, the property and ethics makes this one of the worse places I have every lived. And I have ed lived in n.y. projects! Stay away

Do NOT move here! Horrible experience! Leaking refrigerator, nails sticking out of door frames, bugs in light fixtures. No hot water, trash all over the place and peeling paint throughout the property. Worst experience ever. Look elsewhere.

1) A lot of pest issues (Raccoons, Roaches, ants, etc.). You can literally pet a raccoon on the way to your car, if that's what your looking for then this maybe the place for you. Someone mentioned poor lighting around the complex and that may be the biggest reason why raccoons are everywhere. 2) A/C issues. I moved close to the summer and I would get home from work to find my apartment in the mid 80s when I would leave the A/C on all day. Yes, this resulted in a high light bill every month and I still wouldn't have my apartment cool. 3) Maintenance problems. Maintenance was fair when I first moved in but as timed went by it would take them weeks to get something done. Not to mention the water and water boiler can be shutoff for days doing repairs. The apartments themselves aren't even maintained good. They just paint over everything before your move in date. The only good thing about this apartment is the location, (right off 75) but I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I swear this place has a water issue every other day- there’s been more than a handful of days where the water gets completely shut off or the heater gets turned off and you have to shower in frigid water. My car has been keyed TWICE and nothing has been done about it because there are no cameras on the property. Given how much I’m paying in rent, it’s ridiculous to me that cameras haven’t been placed throughout. There’s also not enough lighting throughout the property. There are times when I come home from work late and have to feel my way around stairs in complete darkness. It’s unsafe and it’ll take someone breaking their leg for something to be done about it apparently. Neighbors are also loud and inconsiderate. There’s a guy on a balcony across from my building frequently playing some kind of instrument at midnight. The buildings don’t look well maintained and none of the pools work. Parking situation sucks but if you park under a roof your car gets towed so it’s a lose/lose situation. You also have to deal with roaches no matter how many times you ask your apartment to get fumigated. I’d move out today if I could!!!!!! Save yourself the trouble. I feel like I got bamboozled by the ads.

This is the worse place to rent from in the world. They have roaches, poor maintenance, and bad parking. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!

I currently moved from FL to here after seeing the pictures and reviews on this property. Let me tell you, it is false advertising. None of the pools or hot tubs are working, and haven't been for awhile. The property is covered in trash, run off mud from the rain, broken beer bottles, and cigarette butts. I have picked up new trash every day that people throw in front of my door, not to mention the 2 large deadbolts you need on your door. I'm also pretty sure the gate is broken because I never see it closed, even at night. There is no parking, and the leasing office will not work with you on anything that needs fixing. The apartment is covered head to toe in thick white paint, which is their way of fixing things. Door hinges, patches, you name it, it's covered in paint. We have put in work orders since we got here and nothing has been done. And if you have a washer and dryer, it won't fit in the provided closet for them, you have to take the doors off otherwise they won't fit. Neighbors are inconsiderate and rude, and sometimes scary, with possible gang and drug relation. I have an upstairs neighbor that no ine has seen and he has no furniture and runs around at all times of the night and talks to himself. Every person I have spoken to has said to leave ASAP.

Office staff is rude, property is terrible. Neighbors are loud & inconsiderate.

I love my spacious 1bdrm bedroom and the pricing is absolutely wonderful. Great location and access to major highways and reputable shopping malls. Quiet pet friendly property as well. Very recommendable!

The staff has always been very responsive and friendly. They'll fix any maintenance issues within 24 hours. A very clean and friendly community at affordable rent in the area. Also very close to a lot of restaurants and cute coffee shops.

great complex to live in, the ladies in the office are helpful and when you put an order they take care of it right away. Been more than happy living here.

These apartments are great.. The staff works with you and the apartments are safe.. No outsiders, very private, and quiet.. Great place to live..

We just signed our 2nd lease here... we love it!! It's CLOSE to EVERYTHING - it is in the PERFECT location. The staff is always nice and works fast with the maintenance to swiftly close out requests. You don't want to miss this 'lil hidden gem!!

Lakeside at North Park deserves 5 stars, hands down. This was my first time leasing an apartment and the staff was always so professional, nice and patient with me. One of the leasing consultants, Florencia, made my experience a smooth and comfortable process. I listed all of my personal preferences for my Roomate and I. We desired: -Spacious floor plan -both rooms evenly dispersed -Patio -Updated appliances -Hardwood floors -Washer and dryer Once the model apartment was shown to us we were instantly impressed. We have been in our apartment a little over a month now and I have no complaints. I am so excited to say I choose a safe, fun and affordable complex to live in. The bonus perks of lakeside are valet trash and I love how they focus on community by hosting fun meetings and prizes. I would high recommend.

We've been living here for almost 6 years and we are more than happy with the service. I definitely recommend it! Close to everything and really good price!

This property has greatly improved since Martha became the Property Manager last year. The property is cleaner, they are towing cars again, and it is safer now that their is a police officer onsite. The maintenance staff continues to do a wonderful job.

We have lived here for 3 years and the location is top notch. The staff always responds promptly to maintenance requests and we have always felt well taken care of. We also really love the 3 pools in the Texas summer heat when that comes around!

I moved in at the end of January 2020 but was dealing with Agustina since December 2019. She was extremely helpful and assisted me from afar. I moved into apartment without seeing it since I moved from a different state. She assisted by helping my daughter look around and give me a thumbs up or not before I got here. The issues I had when I moved in have been mostly addressed. The ones not addressed are definitely not a major issue. The staff is extremely friendly. Thanks for making my experience so far really easy and nice!

I enjoy living here for a few reasons - all my neighbors have been friendly since the day we moved in. There are all kinds of people here but no one is obnoxious or rude! I have LOVED the leasing staff from day one! They are the biggest reason we decided to lease. I definitely recommend leasing here!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here. Its a great location and great price. The apartments are large and the maintenance guys are awesome! They fix most every issue same day. The office staff is friendly. The gym needs some new equipment but the 3 pools are awesome! Definitely the best apartments in the area for the price! :)

I really like living here. The facilities are nice and kept relatively clean. I feel safe walking my dog and there's a nice dog park for him to run around in. I get along with neighbors and I like that management has resident events. Recently, there was a mix-up with some paperwork that wasn't handled correctly (on their part) when I initially moved in last year that made me skeptical but it was sorted out and no further action was needed. Proper handling of vital paperwork is super important (also stressful on the resident's part) and the reason I'm giving 4/5 stars. Their maintenance is quick and usually gets service requests done the same day or the day after. Overall, Lakeside is a comfortable place to live.

I have lived at Lakeside for a few years now. I still love my apartment and spend my summers at the pools. I love the maintenance guys, they get to all my work orders quickly. The office staff is newer but they are very kind and helpful. I can't express how amazing the location is to work and all the places I love to shop at or hang out with friends.

I just moved in to these apartments after living in the worst apartments in Dallas!! I work in mid town and these apartments have easy access to the highway and makes my commute to work easy!! The staff was great very helpful. I worked with Lacrisha and she helped me from start to finish.I did have some other apartments to view that same day but she really made me feel so comfortable I applied right there! The process was easy and I knew by the end of the day that I was approved!! Living next to Dave and busters plus specs is also a bonus!! I would recommend these to anyone

I dont usually write reviews but this place i wanted to because I see some negative people on here saying things that aren't true.I recently moved to this property and I can say from start to finish lacresha helped me and made the process smooth and easy. I love my apartment and the complex is well kept up. Lacresha made me really feel like family and not just a person looking for a home. I'm not from Texas so my search was scary but like i said the staff was great. Ive been here for a couple of months now and maintenance is ON POINT and fixes things with an urgency! they have thin floors you can hear everything outside your apartment. The management sucks, they dont care about the people and change their management all the time because they like to make money off their residents. Had to leave weeks into the lease because this place is so horrible

If you live on the top floors be prepared for you apartment to be warmer specially your bedrooms. If you ask them to fix it they tell you “that it’s working correctly” and do anything. They won’t even let you have a window unit even though they are not paying utilities.

Been here for a year, can’t wait til my lease is UP; charged U for services U don’t used NOT mention they closed ALL 3 of the pools when management leave due to non paying residents using it. Valet Trash pickup is a joke, there are times they don’t even pick up the trash yet U still have to pay for it NEVER any parking spaces for paying residents. I could go on and on ONLY bonus about this placed is it’s by the freeway.

I had a wonderful tour of this community. Spacious apartments, great location. Close to everything. Thank you for the attention to detail, Raven, and the great tour. The entire staff was wonderful.

This is a Beautiful, clean community with 3 gorgeous pools. Make your home here and you won’t be disappointed.

I have had only good experiences with the office staff and maintenance. Rent prices are great compared to other properties and the units are spacious. Pet friendly as well!

To be honest i like them. I don't get bothered. I pay my bills on time so i don't have to deal with the front office, and if i need maintenance i just literally go get them and tell them what i need, it may be more difficult then writing on a piece of paper and walking away but when i talk face to face with them it gets done. for the most part its quiet besides the few who forget others are here but thats everywhere. The apartments are right smack in the middle of everything so i never really make a long commute unless chosen to. I would re-sign another lease as long as the complex continues to try to grow. Haven't run into anything i haven't run into any any other communities so i say why not.

Atmosphere is friendly. People in the office are kind and courteous and always willing to help. This is my home I've enjoyed living here over 9 years now with no plans to move out.

I toured with the blonde that sits by the back window and receiver inaccurate info in regards to pricing. I called back to confirm pricing and the unit number and the assistant manager helped me and made sure everything was correct and taken care of. She has been a TREMENDOUS help Everytime needed and always has a smile. The manager is nice and friendly. Since moving in I’ve had zero issues with parking and love my lake view??

Roaches, weeds, crazy loud neighbors, children everywhere. Office staff changes every year, along with management. Maintenance has been the only thing thats consistent. Apartments are old and dingy your paying for location, and not worth the price, will be run down pretty soon.

So I want to start this with saying I’m SO thankful for Lacresha. She’s the only one in the office that knows what she’s doing. Now a good ol’ pros & cons list: Pros- *free in apt washer and dryers. *The pool is beautiful (when clean) *The price is decent *Close to lots of great things [trader joes, specs, Dave & busters, park lane] *I got to break my lease 12 months early [14 month lease after living there a year]. *Layout of the A4 apt Cons: *It reeks of weed 24/7 everywhere you go. Neighbors smoke? Hope you enjoy your contact high. Which means there is something wrong with the firewall [AKA if there is ever a fire the whole building is in trouble. Hopefully nothing ever happens] *They say there is nothing they can do about the weed but the lease states “no drugs or paraphilia” uhhh having weed breaks that right there. *Valet trash is only supposed to be out during certain times. Most people don’t listen so when you get home after a long day at work you get to smell trash that sat out in 100 degrees. Even better when it’s out ALL WEEKEND. *Enjoy Mold? PERFECT! The bathrooms are full of them and they just paint over. I complained and the maintenance guy noted “it’s ok.” UUUUHHHHH no black mold is never ok. *Parking on the weekends SUCKS. Good luck finding somewhere Sunday night after 730pm. *People don’t pick up after their dogs. There are places all over but they are too lazy and management does nothing. *There is a new office manager every other month. *The current company that owns the property is just holding it until they can sell if for a profit so there will be nothing improved until then. * You can hear your neighbors walk, talk, pretty much do anything in their apartment.

3 managers in 3 years. The leasing agents argue with residents. The maintenance men do subpar work. There is no where to park. Everything in the apartments are old and rusty, oh and they have roaches smh

If you love not being treated right, and love the hot humid weather. This is your place. Camden was great and this new management was horrid. Do move here... Can't wait to get out!
